2 Peter 2
1 But there also came false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you, who will stealthily bring in destructive sects, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing quick destruction to themselves,
Bili so pa tudi lažipreroki v ljudstvu, kakor bodo tudi med vami lažiučitelji, kateri bodo zraven vpeljavali pogubne razkole in zatajevali Gospoda, ki jih je odkupil, pripravljajoč si naglo pogubo;
2 and many will follow out their destructive ways, because of whom the way of the truth will be spoken of [as] evil,
In mnogo jih bode hodilo za njih pogubami, za katerih voljo se bode obrekovala pot resnice;
3 and in covetousness, with forged words, they will make merchandise of you, whose judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
In v lakomnosti vas bodo z izmišljenimi besedami prekanjali, katerim sodba že zdavnaj ne odlaša, in poguba njih ne spí.
4 For if God did not spare messengers having sinned, but having cast [them] down to Tartarus with chains of deepest gloom, delivered [them], having been reserved to judgment, (Tartaroō g5020)
Kajti Bog ni prizanesel angelom, ki so grešili, temuč jih z verigami temé v pekel pahnil in hraniti jih dal v sodbo. (Tartaroō g5020)
5 and did not spare the old world, but kept the eighth person, Noah, a preacher of righteousness, having brought a flood on the world of the impious,
In staremu svetu ni prizanesel, nego Noeta osmega ohranil za glasnika pravice,
6 and having turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes, condemned with an overthrow, having set [them as] an example to those about to be impious,
Ko je potop svetu brezbožnih poslal, in je mesti Sodom in Gomoro upepelivši v pogubljenje obsodil, zgled postavivši njim, ki bodo brezbožni,
7 and He rescued righteous Lot, worn down by the conduct of the lawless in licentiousness,
In pravičnega Lota, trpečega od razuzdanega vedenja neukrotnih, je otél.
8 for the righteous [man] dwelling among them was tormented in [his] righteous soul, day by day, in seeing and hearing unlawful works—
(Kajti s pogledom in sluhom je pravični dan na dan pravično dušo mučil z nepostavnimi deli, prebivajoč med njimi);
9 the LORD has known to rescue [the] pious out of temptation, and to keep [the] unrighteous being punished to [the] day of judgment,
Gospod vé pobožne rešiti iz izkušnjave, krivične pa za dan sodbe hraniti v kaznovanje;
10 and chiefly those following after the flesh in lust [and] defilement, and despising lordship. Bold, self-pleased, they are not afraid to speak evil of glorious ones,
Najbolj pa nje, ki hodijo za mesom v poželenji oskrumbe, in zaničujejo gospostvo. Predrzniki samopašni, ne bojé se preklinjati slave;
11 whereas messengers, being greater in strength and power, do not bear a slanderous judgment against them before the LORD;
Kjer angeli, po kreposti in moči večji, ne izrekajo proti njim pred Gospodom preklinjajoče sodbe.
12 and these, as irrational natural beasts, made to be caught and destroyed—in what things they are ignorant of, slandering—in their destruction will be destroyed;
Ti pa, kakor nespametne živali telesne stvarjene v lov in klanje, v tem, česar ne poznajo, preklinjajoč, bodo se pogubili v pogubi svoji, prejemši krivice plačilo.
13 doing unjustly, [they will receive] a reward of unrighteousness, esteeming pleasure in the day, [and] luxury—[they are] spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceits, feasting with you,
Oni, katerim se veselje zdí požrešnost po dnevi, madeži in sramote, razuzdano živeč v zmotah svojih in gosteč se z vami,
14 having eyes full of adultery, and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart exercised in covetousnesses, children of a curse,
Oči imajoč polne prešestnice in brez pokoja v grehu; vabeč duše neutrjene, imajoč srce vajeno lakomnosti, prekletstva otroci,
15 having forsaken a right way, they went astray, having followed in the way of Balaam the [son] of Bosor, who loved a reward of unrighteousness,
Ki so zapustivši ravno pot tavali, hodili po poti Balaama sina Bosorjevega, kateri je ljubil krivice plačilo,
16 and had a rebuke of his own iniquity—a mute donkey, having spoken in man’s voice, forbid the madness of the prophet.
A prejel lastne nepostavnosti posvarilo; brezglasno uprežno živinče, ki je izpregovorivši s človeškim glasom, zabranilo prerokovo nespamet.
17 These are wells without water, and clouds driven by a storm, to whom the deepest gloom of darkness has been kept throughout the age; (questioned)
Ti so studenci brez vode, megle, ki jih goni vihar, katerim je hranjen mrak teme vekomaj. (questioned)
18 for speaking swollen words of vanity, they entice in desires of the flesh—licentiousness, those who had truly escaped from those conducting themselves in error,
Kajti prazno zabuhlost govoreč vabijo v poželjivostih mesa, v razuzdanosti nje, kateri so v resnici ubežali njim, ki hodijo po zmotnjavi,
19 promising liberty to them, themselves being servants of corruption, for by whom anyone has been overcome, he has been brought to servitude to this one also;
Obetajoč jim svobodo, ko so sami hlapci pogube; kajti od kogar je kdo premagan, njegov je tudi hlapec postal.
20 for if having escaped from the defilements of the world, in the acknowledging of the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, and again being entangled by these things, they have been overcome, the last things have become worse to them than the first,
Kajti če se taki, ki so ubežali oskrumbam sveta v spoznanji Gospoda in zveličarja Jezusa Kristusa, zopet zapletó vanje in so premagani, zgodilo se jim je zadnje hujše od prvega.
21 for it were better to them not to have acknowledged the way of righteousness, than having acknowledged [it], to turn back from the holy command delivered to them,
Kajti bolje jim je bilo, da bi ne bili spoznali pota pravice, nego spoznavši obrniti se zopet od dane jim svete zapovedi.
22 and that of the true proverb has happened to them: “A dog turned back on his own vomit,” and, “A sow having bathed herself—to rolling in mire.”
Prigodilo se jim je pa po resničnem pregovoru: "Pes, ki se je obrnil k lastni izbluvi," in "Svinja omita v lužo blatno."
