2 Peter 2
1 But there also came false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you, who will stealthily bring in destructive sects, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing quick destruction to themselves,

2 and many will follow out their destructive ways, because of whom the way of the truth will be spoken of [as] evil,
Acukba akya mahmaha khyange naw am dawkyakia ami tuilam cun jah läk khaie. Acukba ami ve ua phäh, Ngthungtaka Tuilam cun khyange naw kbäüei law khaie.
3 and in covetousness, with forged words, they will make merchandise of you, whose judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
Acuna akse jah mtheikie naw kummu kamvanak ja khyanga pyang khuikame am ning jah mhleimhlak eiaw law khaie. Cunüngpi, ahlana khyüh ngthu jah mkhyah khai naw pi jah mtät lü, jah Kcimpyeh khai cun dingkhu lü ipeiki am ni.
4 For if God did not spare messengers having sinned, but having cast [them] down to Tartarus with chains of deepest gloom, delivered [them], having been reserved to judgment, (Tartaroō g5020)
Mkhyekatkie khankhawngsäe pi Pamhnam naw am jah kpamei lü mulaia a jah khyak ni. Anghmüpnak cuia mthiyüi am jah khit lü Ngthumkhyahnaka Khawmhnüp a jah mtäheisak. (Tartaroō g5020)
5 and did not spare the old world, but kept the eighth person, Noah, a preacher of righteousness, having brought a flood on the world of the impious,
Pamhnam naw akphyüma khawmdek pi am kpamei. Acunakyase, Mhnam am ktuiktäkie cun mlikpitui am a jah mkhyüh ni. Ngsungpyunnaka mawng pyenki Nawe ta a püi he khyang khyüh mahmaha jah küikyanki.
6 and having turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes, condemned with an overthrow, having set [them as] an example to those about to be impious,
Pamhnam naw Sodom ja Komorah mlühe pi meikdäi am jah mcing pängki. Pamhnam am ktuiktä lü awmki hea khana ihawkba thawn law khai ti cun a jah mhnuhnaka kyaki.
7 and He rescued righteous Lot, worn down by the conduct of the lawless in licentiousness,
Cunüngpi, mtuihkse lü am dawkyakia awmihkiea phäh kthasekia khyang kdaw Lotah ta lätlangsaki.
8 for the righteous [man] dwelling among them was tormented in [his] righteous soul, day by day, in seeing and hearing unlawful works—
Acuna khyang kdaw cun mtuihsekia khyange am atänga ve lü, am dawkyaki ami awmih ngneisake cun amhnüp täa hmu ngja lü a mlung khuikhakia kyaki.
9 the LORD has known to rescue [the] pious out of temptation, and to keep [the] unrighteous being punished to [the] day of judgment,
Acunakyase, Mhnam üng xüngseikie cun khuikhanak üngka naw ihawkba jah yung vai cun ksing lü, Mhnam üng am xüngseikie, asükyüa ami mtisa hlüa hüipawm bawhbah lü Pamhnama ana ia käh ngaikie cun, Ngthumkhyahnaka Khawmhnüp veia ihawkba jah tak vai cun pi Bawipa naw ksingki. Ahina akse jah mtheikie cun linglai lü ami mlung dämkie, khankhawa kae pi jah leisawng vai am ksing lü jah mdihmsuikie ni.
10 and chiefly those following after the flesh in lust [and] defilement, and despising lordship. Bold, self-pleased, they are not afraid to speak evil of glorious ones,
11 whereas messengers, being greater in strength and power, do not bear a slanderous judgment against them before the LORD;

12 and these, as irrational natural beasts, made to be caught and destroyed—in what things they are ignorant of, slandering—in their destruction will be destroyed;

13 doing unjustly, [they will receive] a reward of unrighteousness, esteeming pleasure in the day, [and] luxury—[they are] spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceits, feasting with you,
khuikhatnak ami mtüimdawn lawa mäiha, ami khana khuikhatnak pha be khai. Amimia phäh hlimtui jekyainak ta; ami mtisa hlükawa kümbenak cun khawkdeia pi ami pawh hin ni. Nami pawipyang kunga buh ami ei law üng, hleihlak am mlümlawk u lü, nami phäh mtüihkheh lü ngkeeikse lawpüikie ni.
14 having eyes full of adultery, and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart exercised in covetousnesses, children of a curse,

15 having forsaken a right way, they went astray, having followed in the way of Balaam the [son] of Bosor, who loved a reward of unrighteousness,
Ngsungpyunkia lam hawih lü, ami cehnak lam mkhyüh ve u. Ngui a yahnak vaia phäh akse pawh vai am mhmaneiki, Pawtawa ca Balaam khang ve u.
16 and had a rebuke of his own iniquity—a mute donkey, having spoken in man’s voice, forbid the madness of the prophet.

17 These are wells without water, and clouds driven by a storm, to whom the deepest gloom of darkness has been kept throughout the age; (questioned)

18 for speaking swollen words of vanity, they entice in desires of the flesh—licentiousness, those who had truly escaped from those conducting themselves in error,
Camcah lü, am ngtähkia ngcaükie. Ami mtisa hlü hüipawmnake am, am dawkyakia xüngseinak üngkhyüh lätlang lü ngthunghlai thaikie cen jah tuiven bekie.
19 promising liberty to them, themselves being servants of corruption, for by whom anyone has been overcome, he has been brought to servitude to this one also;
Acun he naw ngthunghlai thaikie üng lätlangnak nami yah khai ti lü jah bekhüt na u lü, amimät cimpyenaka mpyaa kyaki he. Isenitiüng, khyang cun mi mlung jah nängeikia mpyaa mi kyaki.
20 for if having escaped from the defilements of the world, in the acknowledging of the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, and again being entangled by these things, they have been overcome, the last things have become worse to them than the first,
Mi Bawipa ja Küikyan Bawi Jesuh Khritaw ksingnak üngkhyüh khawmdek mtüihkhehnaka ksung üng lätlang päng ma lü, acune üng hlimtui xüngsei bekia khyange ta, akcüka kaa kthaka akpäihnaka ka hin kyühse bawki ni.
21 for it were better to them not to have acknowledged the way of righteousness, than having acknowledged [it], to turn back from the holy command delivered to them,
Acukba vekia khyangea phäh ta, ngsungpyunnaka mawng ngja lü ngcingcaihkia ngthupet hawih bea kthaka, am ami ksing xa hin daw bawk ve.
22 and that of the true proverb has happened to them: “A dog turned back on his own vomit,” and, “A sow having bathed herself—to rolling in mire.”
Ami veia thawnhlawkie hin naw, “Ui naw amäta mlawh ei beki, vawk naw pi a awt pänga lawk awt beki” tia mcäpnak kümceikia mdan ve.
