< 2 Peter 1 >

1 Simeon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who obtained an equally precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
IET nai Jimon Petruj ladu o wanporon en Iejuj Krijtuj on irail, me paikier pojon kajampwal ota dueta kit, me kitail aleer ki pun en atail Kot o Jaunkamaur Iejuj Krijtuj.
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the acknowledgment of God and of Jesus our Lord!
Mak o popol en roklan komail ki erpit en Kot o Iejuj atail Kaun.
3 As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and piety, through the acknowledgment of Him who called us through glory and virtue,
Jon en manaman en Kot karoj, me itar on maur o lelapok, kijakij don kitail er, ki kupurkon en i, me kotin molipe kitail ki pein a linan o manaman.
4 through which the most great and precious promises have been given to us, that through these you may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped from the corruption [and] lust in the world.
Ni mepukat a kotin kijakij ki don kitail inau lapalapia o kajampwalia kan, pwen kare on komail maur en Kot, o tan wei janer me jued akan, me mi jappa ki inon jued.
5 And [for] this same [reason] also, having brought in all diligence, supplement your faith with virtue, and with virtue—knowledge,
Komail ari nantion eta, kida jar mau ni omail pojon, o ni jar mau lolekon.
6 and with knowledge—self-control, and with self-control—endurance, and with endurance—piety,
O ni lolekon koton, o ni koton kanonama, o ni kanonama lelapok.
7 and with piety—brotherly kindness, and with brotherly kindness—love;
O ni lelapok limpok on jaulan kan, o ni limpok on jaulan kan limpok on amen amen.
8 for these things being in you and abounding, make [you] neither inert nor unfruitful in regard to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Pwe ma mepukat mi re omail, o pwaida re omail, komail ap jota pan tanana de jo wa ni lolekonki atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj.
9 for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;
A me jota pwaijaneki mepukat, nan i majkun, o a kin dedam jili waja, aki a monokela a wideud jan ni dip a dip en maj.
10 therefore, rather, brothers, be diligent to make steadfast your calling and [divine] selection, for doing these things you may never stumble;
Ri ai ko, i me komail nantion katenedi omail paeker o pilipil, pwe ma komail pan wiada mepukat, komail jota pan pupedi.
11 in this way the entrance into the continuous kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplemented to you. (aiōnios g166)
Pwe i me komail pan pedelonki peren nan wei joutuk en atail Kaun o Jaunkamaur Iejuj Krijtuj. (aiōnios g166)
12 Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you about these things, although you have known [them] and have been established in the present truth,
I me i pan kataman kin komail anjau karoj, menda ma komail aja mepukat, o komail keleki melel.
13 and I think right, so long as I am in this tent, to stir you up in reminding [you],
I lamelame, a pun, i en kataman kin komail o kamana komail da, arain ai pan mimieta nan im pwal
14 having known that the laying aside of my tent is soon, even as our Lord Jesus Christ also showed to me.
Pwe i aja, eten I pan pwilikidi war ai duen atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj kotin majani on ia er.
15 And I will also be diligent [to ensure] that you always have a remembrance to make of these things after my departure.
A I pan nantion, pwe komail en poden tamatamanda mepukat murin ai jamala.
16 For having not followed out skillfully devised fables, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but having become eyewitnesses of His majesty—
Pwe je jo idauenda kajoi widin ni at padaki on komail duen manaman en atail Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj o a kotin pan japaledo, a pein kit kilaner a linan.
17 for having received honor and glory from God the Father, such a voice being borne to Him by the Excellent Glory: “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delighted”;
Pwe ni a kotin aleer wau o linan jan ren Kot Jam ni anjau nil eu peidido jan nan linan lapalap katitiki: let nai Ol kompok, me I kin peren kida.
18 and we heard this voice borne out of Heaven, being with Him at the holy mountain.
Nil wet, me peidido jan nanlan, je roner ni at ian i mimieda pon dol jaraui.
19 And we have a more firm prophetic word, to which we do well giving heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day may dawn, and [the] morning star may arise in your hearts;
Ari maj an en kokop me pun melel re atail, o meid mau, komail en kajampwaleki dueta marain eu, me kin dakareda waja rotorot lao ran pajan o uju ran pan pwara dan monion omail.
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Writing comes of private exposition,
let me komail en aja maj: Jota kokop nan puk jaraui me tapida jan ren aramaj.
21 for prophecy never came by [the] will of man, but men spoke from God, being brought by the Holy Spirit.
Pwe jota man kokop pwili jan ni injen en aramaj amen, pwe aramaj jaraui en Kot akan kokopada mokimokidedi Nen jaraui.
