2 Kings 24
1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has come up, and Jehoiakim is a servant to him [for] three years; and he turns and rebels against him,
In seinen Tagen zog Nebuchadnezzar, König von Babel, herauf, und Jehojakim war ihm Knecht drei Jahre, und er kehrte zurück und empörte sich wider ihn.
2 and YHWH sends against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Aram, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the sons of Ammon, and He sends them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of YHWH that He spoke by the hand of His servants the prophets;
Und Jehovah sandte wider ihn Kriegshaufen von Chaldäern und Kriegshaufen Arams und Kriegshaufen Moabs und Kriegshaufen der Söhne Ammons, und sandte sie wider Judah, es zugrunde zu richten, nach dem Worte Jehovahs, das Er durch Seine Knechte, die Propheten, geredet hatte.
3 only, by the command of YHWH it has been against Judah to turn [them] aside from His presence, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
Nur auf Befehl Jehovahs geschah dies wider Judah, um sie von Seinem Angesichte wegzutun, wegen der Sünden Menaschehs nach allem, was er getan hatte.
4 and also the innocent blood that he has shed, and he fills Jerusalem with innocent blood, and YHWH was not willing to forgive.
Und auch um des unschuldigen Blutes willen, das er vergossen, und daß er Jerusalem mit unschuldigem Blut angefüllt, und das war Jehovah nicht willens, zu vergeben.
5 And the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
Und die übrige Geschichte Jehojakims, und alles, was er tat, ist es nicht geschrieben im Buch der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Judahs?
6 And Jehoiakim lies with his fathers, and his son Jehoiachin reigns in his stead.
Und Jehojakim entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und Jehojachin, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.
7 And the king of Egypt has not added anymore to go out from his own land, for the king of Babylon has taken, from the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates River, all that had been to the king of Egypt.
Aber der König von Ägypten zog nicht mehr aus aus seinem Lande; denn der König von Babel hatte vom Bache Ägyptens bis an den Fluß Phrath alles genommen, was dem König von Ägypten gehörte.
8 Jehoiachin [is] a son of eighteen years in his reigning, and he has reigned three months in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Nehushta daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem,
Achtzehn Jahre alt war Jehojachin, da er König wurde, und drei Monate regierte er in Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Nechuschtha, Tochter Elnathans, aus Jerusalem.
9 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his fathers did.
Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs, nach allem, das sein Vater getan.
10 At that time servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon have come up to Jerusalem, and the city goes into siege,
Um selbige Zeit zogen herauf die Knechte Nebuchadnezzars, König von Babel, nach Jerusalem, und die Stadt kam in Belagerung.
11 and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon comes against the city, and his servants are laying siege to it,
Und Nebuchadnezzar, der König von Babel, kam wider die Stadt und seine Knechte belagerten sie.
12 and Jehoiachin king of Judah goes out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his chiefs, and his eunuchs, and the king of Babylon takes him in the eighth year of his reign,
Und Jehojachin, der König von Judah, ging hinaus zum König von Babel, er und seine Mutter, und seine Knechte und seine Obersten und seine Hofbeamten; und der König von Babel nahm ihn fort im achten Jahre seiner Regierung.
13 and brings out from there all the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the house of the king, and cuts in pieces all the vessels of gold that Solomon king of Israel made in the temple of YHWH, as YHWH had spoken.
Und er führte von dannen heraus alle Schätze des Hauses Jehovahs und die Schätze des Hauses des Königs, und zerschnitt alle goldenen Gefäße, die Salomoh, der König von Israel, im Tempel Jehovahs gemacht, so wie Jehovah geredet hatte.
14 And he has removed all Jerusalem, and all the chiefs, and all the mighty men of valor—ten thousand [is] the expulsion—and every craftsman and smith; none has been left except the poor of the people of the land.
Und er führte ganz Jerusalem weg, und alle Obersten und alle tapferen Helden, zehntausend, in Verbannung, und alle Werkleute und Schlosser, und nichts verblieb, als das arme Volk des Landes.
15 And he removes Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the mother of the king, and the wives of the king, and his eunuchs, and the mighty ones of the land—he has caused a removal to go from Jerusalem to Babylon,
Und er führte weg nach Babel den Jehojachin und die Mutter des Königs und die Weiber des Königs und seine Hofbeamten, dazu die Vornehmen im Lande, sie führte er fort in die Verbannung von Jerusalem nach Babel.
16 and all the men of valor, seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths, one thousand, the whole [are] mighty men, warriors; and the king of Babylon brings them in a captivity to Babylon.
Und alle tapferen Männer, siebentausend, und die Werkleute und Schlosser, tausend, alle Helden, die Streit führten. Und der König von Babel brachte sie hinein nach Babel.
17 And the king of Babylon causes his father’s brother Mattaniah to reign in his stead, and turns his name to Zedekiah.
Und der König von Babel machte dessen Oheim Mattanjah an seiner Stelle zum König, und wandte seinen Namen in Zidkijahu um.
18 Zedekiah [is] a son of twenty-one years in his reigning, and he has reigned eleven years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah,
Einundzwanzig Jahre alt war Zidkijahu, als er König wurde, und regierte elf Jahre in Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Chamutal, Jirmejahus Tochter, aus Libnah.
19 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH according to all that Jehoiakim did,
Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs, nach allem, das Jehojakim getan.
20 for by the anger of YHWH it has been against Jerusalem and against Judah, until He [finally] cast them out from His presence. And Zedekiah rebels against the king of Babylon.
Wegen des Zornes Jehovahs geschah dies in Jerusalem und Judah, bis daß Er sie wegwarf von Seinem Angesicht. Und Zidkijahu empörte sich wider den König von Babel.
