2 Kings 21
1 Manasseh [is] a son of twelve years in his reigning, and he has reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hephzi-Bah;
जब मनस्सी सल्तनत करने लगा तो बारह बरस का था, उसने पचपन बरस येरूशलेम में सल्तनत की, और उसकी माँ का नाम हिफ़सीबाह था।
2 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, according to the abominations of the nations that YHWH dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel,
उसने उन क़ौमों के नफ़रती कामों की तरह जिनको ख़ुदावन्द ने बनी इस्राईल के आगे से दफ़ा' किया, ख़ुदावन्द की नज़र में गुनाह किया।
3 and he turns and builds the high places that his father Hezekiah destroyed, and raises altars for Ba‘al, and makes an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel did, and bows himself to all the host of the heavens, and serves them.
क्यूँकि उसने उन ऊँचे मक़ामों को जिनको उसके बाप हिज़क़ियाह ने ढाया था फिर बनाया; और बा'ल के लिए — मज़बह बनाए। और यसीरत बनाई जैसे शाह — ए — इस्राईल अख़ीअब ने किया था; और आसमान की सारी फ़ौज को सिज्दा करता और उनकी इबादत करता था।
4 And he has built altars in the house of YHWH, of which YHWH said, “In Jerusalem I put My Name.”
और उसने ख़ुदावन्द की हैकल में, जिसके ज़रिए' ख़ुदावन्द ने फ़रमाया था, “मैं येरूशलेम में अपना नाम रख्खूँगा।” मज़बह बनाए।
5 And he builds altars to all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of YHWH;
और उसने आसमान की सारी फ़ौज के लिए ख़ुदावन्द की हैकल के दोनों सहनों में मज़बह बनाए।
6 and he has caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he has multiplied to do evil in the eyes of YHWH—to provoke to anger.
और उसने अपने बेटे को आग में चलाया, और वह शगून निकालता और अफ़सूँगरी करता, और जिन्नात के प्यारों और जादूगरों से त'अल्लुक़ रखता था। उसने ख़ुदावन्द के आगे उसको ग़ुस्सा दिलाने के लिए बड़ी शरारत की।
7 And he sets the carved image of the Asherah that he made in the house of which YHWH said to David and to his son Solomon, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I put My Name for all time;
और उसने यसीरत की खोदी हुई मूरत को, जिसे उसने बनाया था, उस घर में खड़ा किया जिसके ज़रिए' ख़ुदावन्द ने दाऊद और उसके बेटे सुलेमान से कहा था कि “इसी घर में और येरूशलेम में जिसे मैंने बनी — इस्राईल के सब क़बीलों में से चुन लिया है, मैं अपना नाम हमेशा तक रख्खूँगा
8 and I do not add to cause the foot of Israel to move from the ground that I gave to their fathers, only, if they observe to do according to all that I commanded them, and to all the Law that My servant Moses commanded them.”
और मैं ऐसा न करूँगा कि बनी — इस्राईल के पाँव उस मुल्क से बाहर आवारा फिरें, जिसे मैंने उनके बाप — दादा को दिया, बशर्ते कि वह उन सब हुक्म के मुताबिक़ और उस शरी'अत के मुताबिक़, जिसका हुक्म मेरे बन्दे मूसा ने उनको दिया, 'अमल करने की एहतियात रख्खें।”
9 And they have not listened, and Manasseh causes them to err, to do evil above the nations that YHWH destroyed from the presence of the sons of Israel.
लेकिन उन्होंने न माना, और मनस्सी ने उनको बहकाया कि वह उन क़ौमों के बारे में, जिनको ख़ुदावन्द ने बनी — इस्राईल के आगे से बर्बाद किया, ज़्यादा बदी करें।
10 And YHWH speaks by the hand of his servants the prophets, saying,
इसलिए ख़ुदावन्द ने अपने बन्दों, नबियों के ज़रिए' फ़रमाया,
11 “Because that Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations—he has done evil above all that the Amorites have done who [are] before him, and also causes Judah to sin by his idols—
“चूँकि बादशाह यहूदाह मनस्सी ने नफ़रती काम किए, और अमोरियों की निस्बत जो उससे पहले हुए ज़्यादा बुराई की, और यहूदाह से भी अपने बुतों के ज़रीए' से गुनाह कराया;
12 therefore, thus said YHWH, God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing in calamity on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, his two ears tingle.
इसलिए ख़ुदावन्द इस्राईल का ख़ुदा यूँ फ़रमाता है: देखो, मैं येरूशलेम और यहूदाह पर ऐसी बला लाने को हूँ कि जो कोई उसका हाल सुने, उसके कान झन्ना उठेंगे।
13 And I have stretched out the line of Samaria over Jerusalem, and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and wiped Jerusalem as one wipes the dish—he has wiped, and has turned [it] on its face.
और मैं येरूशलेम पर सामरिया की रस्सी, और अख़ीअब के घराने का साहुल डालूँगा; और मैं येरूशलेम को ऐसा साफ़ करूँगा जैसे आदमी थाली को साफ़ करता है और उसे साफ़कर के उल्टी रख देता है।
14 And I have left the remnant of My inheritance, and given them into the hand of their enemies, and they have been for a prey and for a spoil to all their enemies,
और मैं अपनी मीरास के बाक़ी लोगों को तर्क करके, उनको उनके दुश्मनों के हवाले करूँगा; और वह अपने सब दुश्मनों के लिए शिकार और लूट ठहरेंगे।
15 because that they have done evil in My eyes, and are provoking Me to anger from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.”
क्यूँकि जब से उनके बाप — दादा मिस्र से निकले, उस दिन से आज तक वह मेरे आगे बुराई करते और मुझे ग़ुस्सा दिलाते रहे।”
16 And also, Manasseh has shed very much innocent blood, until he has filled Jerusalem mouth to mouth, apart from his sin that he has caused Judah to sin, to do evil in the eyes of YHWH.
'अलावा इसके मनस्सी ने उस गुनाह के 'अलावा कि उसने यहूदाह को गुमराह करके ख़ुदावन्द की नज़र में गुनाह कराया, बेगुनाहों का ख़ून भी इस क़दर किया कि येरूशलेम इस सिरे से उस सिरे तक भर गया।
17 And the rest of the matters of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
और मनस्सी के बाक़ी काम और सब कुछ जो उसने किया, और वह गुनाह जो उससे सरज़द हुआ; इसलिए क्या वह बनी यहूदाह के बादशाहों की तवारीख़ की किताब में लिखा नहीं?
18 And Manasseh lies with his fathers, and is buried in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzza, and his son Amon reigns in his stead.
और मनस्सी अपने बाप दादा के साथ सो गया, और अपने घर के बाग में जो 'उज़्ज़ा का बाग़ है दफ़न हुआ; और उसका बेटा अमून उसकी जगह बादशाह हुआ।
19 Amon [is] a son of twenty-two years in his reigning, and he has reigned two years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz of Jotbah,
और अमून जब सल्तनत करने लगा तो बाईस बरस का था। उसने येरूशलेम में दो बरस सल्तनत की; उसकी माँ का नाम मुसल्लिमत था, जो हरूस युतबही की बेटी थी।
20 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, as his father Manasseh did,
और उसने ख़ुदावन्द की नज़र में गुनाह किया जैसे उसके बाप मनस्सी ने की थी।
21 and walks in all the way that his father walked in, and serves the idols that his father served, and bows himself to them,
और वह अपने बाप के सब रास्तों पर चला, और उन बुतों की इबादत की जिनकी इबादत उसके बाप ने की थी, और उनको सिज्दा किया।
22 and forsakes YHWH, God of his fathers, and has not walked in the way of YHWH.
और उसने ख़ुदावन्द अपने बाप दादा के ख़ुदा को छोड़ दिया, और ख़ुदावन्द की राह पर न चला।
23 And the servants of Amon conspire against him, and put the king to death in his own house,
और अमून के ख़ादिमों ने उसके ख़िलाफ़ साज़िश की, और बादशाह को उसी के महल में जान से मार दिया।
24 and the people of the land strike all those conspiring against King Amon, and the people of the land cause his son Josiah to reign in his stead.
लेकिन उस मुल्क के लोगों ने उन सबको, जिन्होंने अमून बादशाह के ख़िलाफ़ साज़िश की थी क़त्ल किया। और मुल्क के लोगों ने उसके बेटे यूसियाह को उसकी जगह बादशाह बनाया।
25 And the rest of the matters of Amon that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
अमून के बाक़ी काम जो उसने किए, इसलिए क्या वह यहूदाह के बादशाहों की तवारीख़ की किताब में लिखे नहीं?
26 And [one] buries him in his burying-place in the garden of Uzza, and his son Josiah reigns in his stead.
और वह अपनी क़ब्र में 'उज़्ज़ा के बाग़ में दफ़न हुआ, और उसका बेटा यूसियाह उसकी जगह बादशाह हुआ।
