2 Kings 15

1 In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, has reigned;

೧ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

2 he was a son of sixteen years in his reigning, and he has reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jecholiah of Jerusalem,

೨ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳಾದ ಯೆಕೊಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬಾಕೆ ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.

3 and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Amaziah did,

೩ಅಜರ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.

4 only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places.

೪ಆದರೆ, ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

5 And YHWH strikes the king, and he is a leper to the day of his death, and he dwells in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.

೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇವನು ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ರಾಜಗೃಹಾಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

6 And the rest of the matters of Azariah and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

೬ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲದ ವೃತಾಂತ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.

7 And Azariah lies with his fathers, and they bury him with his fathers in the city of David, and his son Jotham reigns in his stead.

೭ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ದಾವೀದ ನಗರದೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸ್ಮಶಾನಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

8 In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam has reigned over Israel in Samaria, six months,

೮ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.

9 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH as his fathers did; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

೯ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.

10 And Shallum son of Jabesh conspires against him, and strikes him before the people, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

೧೦ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

11 And the rest of the matters of Zechariah, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

೧೧ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.

12 It [is] the word of YHWH that He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Sons of the fourth [generation] sit on the throne of Israel for you”; and it is so.

೧೨“ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರಿತು.

13 Shallum son of Jabesh has reigned in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigns a month of days in Samaria;

೧೩ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.

14 and Menahem son of Gadi goes up from Tirzah and comes to Samaria, and strikes Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

೧೪ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನೆಂಬುವನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

15 And the rest of the matters of Shallum and his conspiracy that he made, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

೧೫ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಒಳಸಂಚಿನ ವಿವರವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

16 Then Menahem strikes Tiphsah, and all who [are] in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it did not open [to him], and he strikes [it], [and] he has ripped up all its pregnant women.

೧೬ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ತಿಪ್ಸಹುವಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಊರುಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ಊರನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಗಳ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.

17 In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi has reigned over Israel in Samaria, ten years.

೧೭ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.

18 And he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin, all his days.

೧೮ಇವನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರುವವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.

19 Pul king of Asshur has come against the land, and Menahem gives one thousand talents of silver to Pul, for his hand being with him to strengthen the kingdom in his hand.

೧೯ಅಶ್ಶೂರ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೂಲನೆಂಬವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಅವನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಅರಸುತನವನ್ನು ಜನರು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

20 And Menahem brings out the silver [from] Israel, [from] all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Asshur, fifty shekels of silver for each one, and the king of Asshur turns back and has not stayed there in the land.

೨೦ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಿಂದ ಐವತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಸೂಲಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆ ಹಣವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ನಂತರ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

21 And the rest of the matters of Menahem and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

೨೧ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.

22 And Menahem lies with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigns in his stead.

೨೨ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem has reigned over Israel in Samaria, two years,

೨೩ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.

24 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

೨೪ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.

25 And Pekah son of Remaliah, his captain, conspires against him, and strikes him in Samaria, in the high place of the house of the king with Argob and Arieh; and fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites [were] with him, and he puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

೨೫ಇವನ ಸರದಾರನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಪೆಕಹನು, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಇವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಗೋಬ್, ಅರ್ಯೇ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

26 And the rest of the matters of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

೨೬ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.

27 In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah has reigned over Israel in Samaria, twenty years,

೨೭ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.

28 and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

೨೮ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.

29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Asshur has come, and takes Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and removes them to Asshur.

೨೯ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನೆಂಬುವವನು ಬಂದು ಇಯ್ಯೋನ್, ಆಬೇಲ್ಬೇತ್ಮಾಕಾ, ಯಾನೋಹ, ಕೆದೆಷ್, ಹಾಚೋರ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.

30 And Hoshea son of Elah makes a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah, and strikes him, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.

೩೦ಆಗ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಶೇಯನು, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ, ಇವನನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

31 And the rest of the matters of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

೩೧ಪೆಕಹನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.

32 In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, has reigned.

೩೨ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಆಳತೊಡಗಿದನು.

33 He was a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jerusha daughter of Zadok,

೩೩ಇವನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆರೂಷಾ ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.

34 and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH; he has done according to all that his father Uzziah did.

೩೪ಇವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

35 Only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places; he has built the high gate of the house of YHWH.

೩೫ಆದರೆ ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲಣ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದವನು ಇವನೇ.

36 And the rest of the matters of Jotham and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

೩೬ಯೋತಾಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.

37 In those days YHWH has begun to send Rezin king of Amram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.

೩೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸತೊಡಗಿದನು.

38 And Jotham lies with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of his father David, and his son Ahaz reigns in his stead.

೩೮ಯೋತಾಮನು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಅವನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
