< 2 John 1 >

1 The elder to the chosen lady, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those having known the truth,
Me, Asɔre Panyin, Mekyerɛw kɔma Awuraa a wɔayi no ne ne mma a medɔ wɔn, nokware no nti. Ɛnyɛ me nko, na mmom, wɔn a wonim nokware no nyinaa dɔ mo,
2 because of the truth that is remaining in us, and will be with us throughout the age, (aiōn g165)
efisɛ nokware no te yɛn mu na ɛbɛtena yɛn mu akosi daa: (aiōn g165)
3 there will be with you grace, mercy, [and] peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Adom, mmɔborɔhunu ne asomdwoe mfi Agya Nyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo, Agya no Ba no nkyɛn, mmra yɛn so nokware ne ɔdɔ mu.
4 I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found of your children walking in truth, even as we received a command from the Father;
Mʼani gyee sɛ mihuu sɛ mo mma no bi te nokware mu sɛnea Agya no hyɛɛ yɛn no.
5 and now I implore you, lady, not as writing to you a new command, but which we had from the beginning, that we may love one another,
Enti mereka akyerɛ wo, Awuraa se, momma yɛnnodɔ yɛn ho. Eyi nyɛ mmara foforo a merehyɛ ama wo. Ɛyɛ mmara a wɔahyɛ ama yɛn fi mfiase.
6 and this is love, that we may walk according to His commands; this is the command, even as you heard from the beginning, that you may walk in it,
Saa ɔdɔ a mereka ho asɛm yi kyerɛ sɛ momma yɛntena ase na yɛnyɛ osetie mma Onyankopɔn. Mmara a mote fii mfiase no kyerɛ sɛ mo nyinaa, montena ase ɔdɔ mu.
7 because many deceivers entered into the world, who are not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh; this one is he who is leading astray, and the antichrist.
Nnaadaafo a wonnye nto mu no se Yesu Kristo baa ɔhonam mu no abɔ apete wiase. Saa nnaadaafo yi yɛ atorofo ne Kristo atamfo.
8 See to yourselves that you may not lose the things that we worked for, but may receive a full reward;
Monhwɛ mo ho so yiye na moanhwere nea moayɛ ho adwuma na moanya mo akatua wɔ mu no.
9 everyone who is transgressing, and is not remaining in the teaching of the Christ, does not have God; he who is remaining in the teaching of the Christ, this one has both the Father and the Son;
Obiara a ɔntena Kristo nkyerɛkyerɛ mu no nni Onyankopɔn. Na nea ɔtena nkyerɛkyerɛ no mu no wɔ Agya no ne Ɔba no.
10 if anyone comes to you, and does not bear this teaching, do not receive him into the house, and do not say to him, “Greetings!”
Sɛ obi ba mo nkyɛn na wamfa saa nkyerɛkyerɛ yi ammrɛ mo a, munnnye no wɔ mo fi na munnnye nʼani nso.
11 For he who is saying to him, “Greetings,” has fellowship with his evil works.
Efisɛ obiara a ogye saa nipa no ka bɔne a ɔyɛ no ho.
12 Having many things to write to you, I did not intend [it] with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.
Mewɔ nsɛm pii kyerɛw brɛ mo, nanso mempɛ sɛ mɛfa krataa ne kyerɛwduru so aka. Mmom, mɛba abɛsra mo na me ne mo abɛkasa na ama yɛn anigye awie pɛyɛ.
13 The children of your chosen sister greet you. Amen.
Wo nuabea a Onyankopɔn apaw no no mma kyia wo.
