2 John 1
1 The elder to the chosen lady, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those having known the truth,
这封信来自长老，写给被选中的女士和她的儿女，都是我以真理所热爱的。不只是我，这封信也来自所有知道真理之人，
因为这真理就生活在我们中间，将于我们永远同在。 (aiōn g165)
3 there will be with you grace, mercy, [and] peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
愿在真理和爱中, 来自父上帝和其子耶稣基督的恩典、怜悯和平安，持续与我们同在。
4 I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found of your children walking in truth, even as we received a command from the Father;
很高兴看到你的一些儿女，就像天父命令我们那样，追寻真理。
5 and now I implore you, lady, not as writing to you a new command, but which we had from the beginning, that we may love one another,
亲爱的女士，现在我要告诉你：我们应该彼此相爱。这并非是一条新指令，而是我们应该从一开始就要遵守的。
6 and this is love, that we may walk according to His commands; this is the command, even as you heard from the beginning, that you may walk in it,
我们应该遵循上帝的命令，这就是爱。这命令正如你们最初听到的，你们应该生活在爱中。
7 because many deceivers entered into the world, who are not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh; this one is he who is leading astray, and the antichrist.
我告诉你们这些，是因为许多欺骗者已经离开，到外面的世界去了。他们不接受耶稣基督是以人的身份来的。任何像这样的人都是欺骗者和反基督者。
8 See to yourselves that you may not lose the things that we worked for, but may receive a full reward;
你们要小心，不要丢掉我们如此努力完成的工作，也不要丢掉你应该得到的一切。
9 everyone who is transgressing, and is not remaining in the teaching of the Christ, does not have God; he who is remaining in the teaching of the Christ, this one has both the Father and the Son;
那些变得极端的人，不在继续遵守基督的教导，上帝不会与之同在。遵循基督的教导，上帝和上帝之子都会与他们同在。
10 if anyone comes to you, and does not bear this teaching, do not receive him into the house, and do not say to him, “Greetings!”
如果有人来到你面前，没有展示基督教导的证据，不要接纳他们，也不要问候他；
11 For he who is saying to him, “Greetings,” has fellowship with his evil works.
因为你鼓励他们，就是等于参与了邪恶的事情。
12 Having many things to write to you, I did not intend [it] with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.
我还有许多话想要说给你们听，但我不想用纸墨继续写下去，只是希望能造访你们，与你们当面谈谈，那样会让我们感到非常欢喜！
