2 Corinthians 9

1 For indeed, concerning the ministry that [is] for the holy ones, it is superfluous for me to write to you,

വിശ്വാസികൾക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഈ ധനശേഖരണം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതേണ്ടതില്ല.

2 for I have known your readiness of mind, which in your behalf I boast of to Macedonians, that Achaia has been prepared a year ago, and your zeal stirred up the greater part,

കാരണം, സഹവിശ്വാസികളെ സഹായിക്കാനുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്സാഹം എനിക്കറിയാം. അഖായയിലുള്ള നിങ്ങൾ കഴിഞ്ഞവർഷംമുതലേ സംഭാവന ചെയ്യാൻ ഉത്സുകരായിരിക്കുന്നെന്നു നിങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി മക്കദോന്യക്കാരോടു ഞാൻ പുകഴ്ത്തിപ്പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടാണിരുന്നത്; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്സാഹം അവരിൽ മിക്കവരെയും പ്രവർത്തനോത്സുകരാക്കിയിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.

3 and I sent the brothers, that our boasting on your behalf may not be made vain in this respect; that, according as I said, you may be ready,

ഈ വിഷയത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള അഭിമാനം വ്യാജമല്ല എന്നു തെളിയിക്കാനും ഞാൻ നേരത്തേ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കാനുംവേണ്ടിയാണു സഹോദരന്മാരെ അയയ്ക്കുന്നത്.

4 lest if Macedonians may come with me, and find you unprepared, we may be put to shame (that we do not say—you) in this same confidence of boasting.

ഇത്, മക്കദോന്യക്കാരായ ആരെങ്കിലും എന്റെകൂടെ വരികയും നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുക്കമില്ലാത്തവരായി കാണുകയുംചെയ്താൽ, നിങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ച അമിതവിശ്വാസം നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങൾ ലജ്ജിക്കാൻ ഇടവരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനാണ്. നിങ്ങൾക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന ലജ്ജയെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയുകയേ വേണ്ട.

5 Therefore I thought [it] necessary to exhort the brothers, that they may go before to you, and may make up before your formerly announced blessing, that this be ready, as a blessing, and not as covetousness.

അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളെ മുൻകൂട്ടി സന്ദർശിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ വാഗ്ദാനംചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഉദാരസംഭാവനയുടെ ക്രമീകരണം പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ സഹോദരന്മാരോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടണമെന്നു ഞാൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ അതു വൈമനസ്യത്തോടെയല്ല, ഒരു ഔദാര്യദാനമായി ഒരുക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.

6 And [remember] this: he who is sowing sparingly, will also reap sparingly; and he who is sowing in blessings, will also reap in blessings;

അൽപ്പം വിതയ്ക്കുന്നവൻ അൽപ്പം കൊയ്യും; ധാരാളം വിതയ്ക്കുന്നവൻ ധാരാളം കൊയ്യും എന്ന് ഓർക്കുക.

7 each one, according as he purposes in heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver,

ഓരോരുത്തരും ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചതുപോലെ കൊടുക്കട്ടെ. വൈമനസ്യത്തോടെയോ നിർബന്ധത്താലോ ആകരുത്. കാരണം, ആനന്ദത്തോടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നവരെ ദൈവം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

8 and God [is] able to cause all grace to abound to you, that in everything always having all sufficiency, you may abound to every good work,

നിങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കും അനുസൃതമായും നിങ്ങൾ സകലസൽപ്രവൃത്തികളിലും വർധിച്ചുവരത്തക്ക വിധത്തിലും സമൃദ്ധമായ അനുഗ്രഹം നൽകാൻ ദൈവം പ്രാപ്തനാണ്.

9 according as it has been written: “He dispersed abroad, He gave to the poor, His righteousness remains throughout the age,” (aiōn g165)

“അവർ വാരിവിതറി ദരിദ്രർക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു,” എന്ന് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെതന്നെ. (aiōn g165)

10 and may He who is supplying seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

വിതയ്ക്കാൻ വിത്തും ഭക്ഷിക്കാൻ ആഹാരവും നൽകുന്നവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിത്തിന്റെ ശേഖരം വർധിപ്പിക്കുകയും നീതിയുടെ വിളവെടുപ്പു സമൃദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

11 being enriched to all liberality in everything, which works thanksgiving through us to God,

നിങ്ങൾ ഏതു സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലും ഉദാരമനസ്ക്കരാകേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്താൽ എല്ലാരീതിയിലും സമ്പന്നരാക്കപ്പെടും. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉദാരത, ദൈവത്തിനു നന്ദി അർപ്പിക്കാൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് കാരണമായിത്തീരും.

12 because the ministry of this service not only is supplying the wants of the holy ones, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God,

നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ സേവനം വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ഭൗതികാവശ്യങ്ങൾ നിർവഹിക്കുകമാത്രമല്ല, ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള അനവധിയായ നന്ദിപ്രകാശനം കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകാൻ കാരണവും ആകും.

13 through the proof of this ministry glorifying God for the subjection of your confession to the good news of the Christ, and [for] the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all,

നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വഭാവം തെളിയിച്ച ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ ഫലമായി ജനങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം സ്വീകരിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്നുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ അനുസരണത്തിനായും നിങ്ങളുടെ വസ്തുവകകൾ അവർക്കും മറ്റനേകർക്കും പങ്കുവെക്കാൻ കാണിച്ച സന്മനസ്സിനായുംതന്നെ.

14 and by their supplication in your behalf, longing after you because of the exceeding grace of God on you;

നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിച്ച അളവില്ലാത്ത ദൈവകൃപ നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ കാണാൻ വാഞ്ഛിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവർ നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രാർഥിക്കും.

15 thanks also to God for His unspeakable gift!

അവിടത്തെ അവർണനീയമായ ദാനം ഓർത്ത് ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രം!
