< 2 Corinthians 8 >

1 And we make known to you, brothers, the grace of God, that has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
Anuanom, yɛpɛ sɛ muhu nea Onyankopɔn adom ayɛ wɔ Makedonia asafo ahorow no mu.
2 because in much trial of tribulation the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, abounded to the riches of their liberality;
Wɔn ahokyere mu no wɔn anigye boroo so, na wɔn hia mu mpo, wuyii ayamye kɛse kyerɛe.
3 because, according to [their] power, I testify, and above [their] power, they were willing of themselves,
Midi ho adanse sɛ wɔmaa nea wobetumi ma ɛboroo so mpo. Wɔn ara fii wɔn pɛ mu
4 with much plea calling on us to receive the favor and the fellowship of the ministry to the holy ones,
srɛɛ yɛn sɛ yɛmma wɔmfa sika no nkɔma Kristofo a wɔwɔ Yudea no bi.
5 and not according as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the LORD, and to us, through the will of God,
Wɔyɛ ma ɛboroo so. Nea edi kan no, wɔde wɔn ho maa Awurade. Afei wofi Onyankopɔn pɛ mu de wɔn ho maa yɛn nso.
6 so that we exhorted Titus, that, according as he began before, so also he may also finish this favor to you,
Enti yɛka kyerɛɛ Tito a ofii adwuma yi ase se ɔntoa so na ɔmmoa mo na moatumi awie saa ɔdɔ adwuma yi.
7 but even as in everything you abound, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love to us, that also in this grace you may abound;
Moyɛ adefo wɔ nea mowɔ nyinaa mu: ɔkasa mu ne nimdeɛ mu, mmoa a ɛyɛ mo pɛ sɛ moboa ne ɔdɔ a mode dɔ yɛn mu. Enti yɛpɛ sɛ mode ahofama som wɔ ɔdɔ mu.
8 I do not speak according to command, but because of the diligence of others, and proving the genuineness of your love,
Merenhyehyɛ mmara mma mo. Na mmom mepɛ sɛ mede mo dɔ a mowɔ no toto afoforo de ho hwɛ sɛ mo dɔ no yɛ ɔdɔ kann ana.
9 for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that because of you He became poor—being rich, that you may become rich by that poverty.
Munim adom a na yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo wɔ. Ɔdefo a na ɔyɛ no nyinaa akyi no, mo nti ɔyɛɛ ne ho ohiani sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a ɔnam ne hia no so bɛma moayɛ adefo.
10 And I give an opinion in this: for this [is] expedient to you, who not only to do, but also to will, began before—a year ago,
Mʼadwene a mewɔ wɔ asɛm no ho ni: Afe a etwaa mu no, mo na mudii kan fii mo pɛ mu yɛɛ ayɛ.
11 and now also finish doing [it], that even as [there is] the readiness of the will, so also the finishing, out of that which you have,
Monkɔ so na munnwie dwuma no di. Mommma mo ho mpere mo sɛ mubewie sɛnea mususuwii sɛ mobɛyɛ no.
12 for if the willing mind is present, it is well-accepted according to that which anyone may have, not according to that which he does not have;
Sɛ wo ho pere wo sɛ wobɛma a, Onyankopɔn nam nea wowɔ so begye, na ɛnyɛ nea wunni so.
13 for I do not speak that for others [to be] released, and you pressured,
Merennye nkurɔfo nnesoa mmegu mo so na mmom, esiane sɛ mowɔ bebree saa bere yi mu no nti, ɛyɛ fɛ sɛ moboa wɔn a wonni bi no.
14 but by equality, at the present time your abundance—for their want, that also their abundance may be for your want, that there may be equality,
Na sɛ ɛba sɛ biribi ho hia mo na sɛ wɔwɔ bi a, wɔaboa mo. Eyi ma mo nyinaa yɛ pɛ.
15 according as it has been written: “He who [gathered] much, had nothing over; and he who [gathered] little, had no lack.”
Sɛnea Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Onipa a ɔboaboaa dodow ano no annya ammoro so, na nea ɔboaboaa kakraa bi ano no nyaa nea ɛbɛso no.”
16 And thanks to God, who is putting the same diligence for you in the heart of Titus,
Yɛda Onyankopɔn ase sɛ wama anigye a mewɔ wɔ mo ho no bi awura Tito koma mu.
17 because he indeed accepted the exhortation, and being more diligent, he went forth to you of his own accord,
Ɛnyɛ sɛ ɔpenee yɛn abisade so nko, na mmom ɔno ankasa fii ne pɛ mu pɛɛ sɛ ɔboa nti na osii nʼadwene pi sɛ ɔbɛba mo nkyɛn no.
18 and we sent with him the brother, whose praise in the good news [is] through all the assemblies,
Yɛresoma onua bi a wobu no wɔ asafo ahorow no nyinaa mu wɔ asɛnka adwuma no ho aka ne ho.
19 and not only so, but who was also appointed by vote by the assemblies, our fellow-traveler, with this favor that is ministered by us, to the glory of the same Lord, and your willing mind;
Ɛno akyi no, asafo ahorow no ayi onua yi sɛ ɔne yɛn ntutu akwan wɔ mmere a yɛredi ɔdɔ ho dwuma de ahyɛ Awurade anuonyam yi, na yɛmfa nkyerɛ nso sɛ yɛpɛ sɛ yɛboa.
20 avoiding this, lest anyone may blame us in this abundance that is ministered by us,
Yɛhwɛ yɛn ho so yiye sɛ asɛm biara remma ɔkwan a yɛbɛfa so de saa akyɛde yi adi dwuma no ho.
21 providing right things, not only before the LORD, but also before men;
Yɛn botae ne sɛ yɛbɛyɛ nea eye wɔ Awurade ne nnipa anim.
22 and we sent our brother with them, whom we proved being diligent many times in many things, and now much more diligent, by the great confidence that is toward you,
Enti yɛresoma onipa foforo bi aka Tito ne osuani baako no ho. Yɛasɔ no ahwɛ wɔ akwan ahorow bebree so na yɛahu sɛ ɛyɛ ne pɛ sɛ ɔboa. Na mprempren ne ho pere no sɛ ɔbɛboa efisɛ wanya mo mu ahotoso.
23 whether—about Titus—my partner and fellow-worker toward you, whether—our brothers, apostles of assemblies—glory of Christ;
Tito de, ɔyɛ me boafo a ɔne me yɛ adwuma de boa mo, na anuanom a wɔne no rekɔ no de, wɔyɛ asɔre ahorow ananmusifo a wɔhyɛ Kristo anuonyam.
24 the showing therefore of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf, show to them, even in the face of the assemblies.
Momma wonhu ɔdɔ a modɔ wɔn sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a asafo no nyinaa behu sɛ hoa a yɛde mo hoahoa yɛn ho no yɛ nokware.
