< 2 Corinthians 5 >
1 For we have known that if the tent of our earthly house may be thrown down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands—perpetual—in the heavens, (aiōnios )
“Tucinshi cena kwambeti mibili yetu yapacishi capanshi pano, mushakasa uwu wakapwaika, nitukafwale mibili njatubambila Lesa kwilu, ng'anda yabula kwibakwa ne makasa abantu, ng'anda yacindi conse. (aiōnios )
2 for also in this we groan, earnestly desiring to clothe ourselves with our dwelling that is from Heaven,
Tulatongelenga mu ng'anda iyi njotulekalangamonga, pakwinga tulayandishishinga kwambeti Lesa akatwikalike mu ng'anda yetu ya kwilu.
3 if so be that, having clothed ourselves, we will not be found naked,
Twakaifwala nteti tukacanike matakosha sobwe,
4 for we also who are in the tent groan, being burdened, seeing we do not wish to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves, that the mortal may be swallowed up of life.
Pakwinga cino cindi ncotuli mu mushakasa uwu tulatongelenga cebo ca kulemenwa mikuli, nomba nteko kuyanda kufulula nsulo uwu mushakasha sobwe, nsombi kwambeti twakafwala ng'anda yetu ya kwilu mibili iyi ikute kufwa ikaminwe ne buyumi.
5 And He who worked us to this very thing [is] God, who also gave to us the deposit of the Spirit;
Lesa mwine elatubambili kushinta uku nekutupa Mushimu Uswepa kuba cishomesho cabyonse mbyatubambila.
6 having courage, then, at all times, and knowing that being at home in the body, we are away from home from the LORD—
Neco cindi conse twashometi twacibanga ne mibili iyi yabuntu, Mwami Yesu Klistu ukute kacili kutali nenjafwe.”
7 for we walk through faith, not through sight—
Pakwinga tulendenga mu lushomo, ntebyo bintu mbyotulabononga ne menso.
8 we have courage, and are well pleased, rather, to be away from the home of the body, and to be at home with the LORD.
Ndambangeti, tukute lushomo lwakwambeti inga twifulula mibili iyi ne kuya kwikala pamo ne Mwami.
9 We are also ambitious for this reason, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to Him,
Kupita bintu byonse, tulelekeshenga kumukondwelesha Mwami Yesu, nambi pacindi ncotucili twekala pepi nendiye, nambi katuli.
10 for it is necessary for all of us to have appeared before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may receive the things [done] through the body, in reference to the things that he did, whether good or evil;
Pakwinga twense nitukabonekele kuli Klistu kwambeti atomboloshe. “Muntu uliyense nakatambulenga kwelana ne ncito nshainsanga mu buyumi bwakendi, shaina nambi shaipa.”
11 having known, therefore, the fear of the LORD, we persuade men, and we are revealed to God, and I also hope to have been revealed in your consciences;
Neco caina kutina Mwami Lesa, ecebo cakendi tulabayuminishinga bantu kwambeti bese kuli Lesa. Lesa utwinshi cena, kayi ndashoma kwambeti ne njamwe mutwinshi cena.
12 for we do not again recommend ourselves to you, but we are giving occasion to you of glorifying in our behalf, that you may have [something] in reference to those glorifying in face and not in heart;
Nkatulalituntunga sobwe, nsombi tulelekeshenga kumupa citondesho cela kumutwangisha cebo ca njafwe, kwambeti mukacikonshe kubakumbula abo balalumbanyanga muntu ncalaleshenga kunsa kupita kwishiba muntu ncabele mukati mu moyo.
13 for whether we were beside ourselves, [it was] to God; whether we be of sound mind, [it is] to you,
Neco na twafulungana mano, twafulunganina Lesa. Na tulabonekenga bantu bakute mano, nipacebo cenu.
14 for the love of the Christ constrains us, having judged thus: that if one died for all, then the whole died,
Lusuno lwa Klistu lulatutangunininga, pakwinga lino tucinsheti muntu umo walafwila bantu bonse, uku ekwambeti bonse balamantamo lubasu mu lufu lwakendi.
15 and He died for all, that those living may no longer live to themselves, but to Him who died for them, and was raised again.
Klistu walafwila twense, kwambeti abo bakute buyumi kabatayandangowa kulikondwelesha bonka, nsombi bakondweleshenga uyo walafwa ne kupunduka ku bafu cebo ca endibo.
16 So that we, from now on, have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him [thus] no longer;
Pacino cindi katulekani kombolosha bantu, kupitila mu mano abuntu bwetu. Nambi kaindi twalikuyeya sha Klistu kwelana ne mano abuntu onka, nsombi pacino cindi nkatwela kwinseco sobwe.
17 so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.
Neco lino uyo muntu lalipamankanya kuli Klistu laba cibumbwa ca lino lino, cakaindi cilapiti, laba walino lino.
18 And all things [are] of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of the reconciliation,
Lesa ewalenseci kwambeti kupitila mu lufu lwa Klistu, afwe twalikuba balwani tube banendi, ne kutupa ncito yakuleta bantu nabambi kulyendiye kuba banendi.
19 how that God was in Christ—reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses; and having put in us the word of the reconciliation,
Ncotulapandululunga nicakwambeti Lesa labambanga bwineshi pakati pali njafwe nendiye, kupitila muli Klistu. Lesa wafuta bwipishi bonse pakutupa mulumbe ngotulamwayanga weshi kuleta lumuno.
20 in behalf of Christ, then, we are ambassadors, as if God were calling through us, we implore, in behalf of Christ, “Be reconciled to God”;
Afwe njafwe tulamwimanininga Klistu, kayi Lesa lamusengenga kwambeti munyumfwe mulumbe ngotulakambaukunga. Tulambanga makani a Klistu kayi ne kumusengeti mubweshane ne Lesa
21 He made Him having not known sin [to be] sin in our behalf, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him.
Klistu nkalikuba ne bwipishi sobwe, nomba Lesa walamutwika bwipishi bonse bwa bantu kwambeti kupitila mulyendiye tucane bululami bwa Lesa.
