2 Corinthians 5
1 For we have known that if the tent of our earthly house may be thrown down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands—perpetual—in the heavens, (aiōnios g166)
蓋我等は、幕屋なる我が地上の住處破るれば、人の手に成らずして神より賜はれる住處、永遠の家が我等の為に天に在る事を知る。 (aiōnios g166)
2 for also in this we groan, earnestly desiring to clothe ourselves with our dwelling that is from Heaven,
即ち我等はこの住處に在りて嘆きつつ、此儘にして天よりの住處を上に着せられん事を希ふ。
3 if so be that, having clothed ourselves, we will not be found naked,
是既に着たるものにして裸にて見出されずば誠に然あるべし。
4 for we also who are in the tent groan, being burdened, seeing we do not wish to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves, that the mortal may be swallowed up of life.
蓋我等が此幕屋に在りて、壓迫を蒙りて歎くは、是剥がるるを好まず、却て此上に着せられ、死すべき部分を直に生命に呑入れられん事を欲すればなり。
5 And He who worked us to this very thing [is] God, who also gave to us the deposit of the Spirit;
之が為に我等を造り給へる者は即ち神に在し、之が保證として[聖]霊を我等に賜ひたるなり。
6 having courage, then, at all times, and knowing that being at home in the body, we are away from home from the LORD—
然れば我等は何時も憶する事なく、此肉體に在る間は主に離れて流浪する者なる事を知りて、
7 for we walk through faith, not through sight—
現に像を見ず信仰を以て歩む者なれば、
8 we have courage, and are well pleased, rather, to be away from the home of the body, and to be at home with the LORD.
敢えて憶する事なく、寧肉體を離れて主に侍らん事を欲す。
9 We are also ambitious for this reason, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to Him,
然れば肉體に在るも之を離るるも御意に適はん事を勉む、
10 for it is necessary for all of us to have appeared before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may receive the things [done] through the body, in reference to the things that he did, whether good or evil;
其は我等皆キリストの法廷に於て顕れ、或は善、或は惡、各肉體に在りて為しし所に報いらるべければなり。
11 having known, therefore, the fear of the LORD, we persuade men, and we are revealed to God, and I also hope to have been revealed in your consciences;
第四項 使徒たる者の生活 斯の如く、我等は主の畏れ奉るべき事を知人々を勧む。我等は明に神に知られたれば、汝等の良心にも明に知られたるべき事を信ず。
12 for we do not again recommend ourselves to you, but we are giving occasion to you of glorifying in our behalf, that you may have [something] in reference to those glorifying in face and not in heart;
我等は又汝等の前に己を立つる者に非ず、唯我等を以て誇となす機會を汝等に與へんとす、是心にならで面に誇れる人々に答ふる事を得させん為なり。
13 for whether we were beside ourselves, [it was] to God; whether we be of sound mind, [it is] to you,
即ち我等が浮るるも神の為、己が事を謙遜に語るも亦汝等の為なり。
14 for the love of the Christ constrains us, having judged thus: that if one died for all, then the whole died,
蓋キリストの寵我等に迫れり、我等想へらく、凡ての人の為に一人死し給ひしなれば、是凡ての人死したるなり。
15 and He died for all, that those living may no longer live to themselves, but to Him who died for them, and was raised again.
又キリストが（凡ての人の為に）死し給ひしは、活ける人をして最早己が為に活きず、寧己等の為に死し且復活し給ひし者の為に活きしめんとてなり。
16 So that we, from now on, have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him [thus] no longer;
故に今より後我等は人を肉身によりて知らず、曾てはキリストを肉身によりて知りたりとも、今は最早斯の如くにして知るに非ず。
17 so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.
人若キリストに在れば、新に造られたる者となりて、舊き所は既に過去り、何事も新になりたるなり。
18 And all things [are] of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of the reconciliation,
是等の事は皆神より出づ、即ち神はキリストを以て我等を己と和睦せしめ、且和睦の務を我等に授け給へり。
19 how that God was in Christ—reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses; and having put in us the word of the reconciliation,
蓋神はキリストの中に在して世を己と和睦せしめ、又人々に其罪を負はせず、我等に委ぬるに和睦の言を以てし給へり。
20 in behalf of Christ, then, we are ambassadors, as if God were calling through us, we implore, in behalf of Christ, “Be reconciled to God”;
然れば我等はキリストの為に使節たり、恰も神が我等を以て汝等に勧め給ふに齊し。キリストに代りて希ふ、神と和睦し奉れ。
21 He made Him having not known sin [to be] sin in our behalf, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him.
罪を知り給はざる者を我等の為に罪と見做し給ひしは、我等がキリストに於て神の義とせられん為なり。
