2 Corinthians 5

1 For we have known that if the tent of our earthly house may be thrown down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands—perpetual—in the heavens, (aiōnios g166)

Khawmdek khana mi awmnaka pumsa im pyeh sepi khana kut am am sak, Pamhnam amäta sak, khankhaw im, anglät khäng khaia im, mi taki ti mi ksingki. (aiōnios g166)

2 for also in this we groan, earnestly desiring to clothe ourselves with our dwelling that is from Heaven,

Khawmdek im üng mi ve k’um üng khankhaw ima mi luh vai aktäa ngaih u lü mi ngkoki.

3 if so be that, having clothed ourselves, we will not be found naked,

Acun mi suiawi üng pumsa kaa am mi ve khai.

4 for we also who are in the tent groan, being burdened, seeing we do not wish to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves, that the mortal may be swallowed up of life.

Hina khawmdek im üng mi ve üng phüi k’yüh mi phüi u lü, mkhuimkhanak am mi ngkoki; Mi awmnaka khawmdek pumsa üngka naw mi ngtai vai mi ngaiha phäha am kya lü, khankhaw suiawi mi khana mi suiawi vai mi ngaiha phäha kyaki. Acunüng va pyeh theiki cun xünaka nglat khai.

5 And He who worked us to this very thing [is] God, who also gave to us the deposit of the Spirit;

Acukba jah biloki cun Pamhnama kyaki. Acuna Pamhnam cun khängnak saka Ngmüimkhya jah pekia kyaki. Ngmüimkhya ngcim a jah bekhütnak cun mimia phäha a jah tak pet ni.

6 having courage, then, at all times, and knowing that being at home in the body, we are away from home from the LORD—

Acunakyase, pumsa im üng mi awma küt üng Bawipa im üngka naw mi thuki tia mi ksing u lü anglät se mi lingki.

7 for we walk through faith, not through sight—

Jumnak üng mi xüng lü hmuhnak thei üng am mi xüng.

8 we have courage, and are well pleased, rather, to be away from the home of the body, and to be at home with the LORD.

Pumsa im mi yawk u lü Bawipa am im üng mi awm hmaih khaia aktäa mi ngaih u lü mi lingki.

9 We are also ambitious for this reason, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to Him,

Acunakyase, hia im üng kami ve üng pi kyase, acai im üng kami ve üng pi kyase Mhnam jekyainak sak vai kami ngaihki.

10 for it is necessary for all of us to have appeared before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may receive the things [done] through the body, in reference to the things that he did, whether good or evil;

Isetiakyaküng, mi van mi pumsa üng mi vecawh, am dawkyaki la dawkyaki mi bilawha kba mi yahnak vaia Khritawa ngthumkhyanaka ma mi ngdang law khai.

11 having known, therefore, the fear of the LORD, we persuade men, and we are revealed to God, and I also hope to have been revealed in your consciences;

Acunakyase, Pamhnam kyühnak ksing u lü khyang he kami jah kdäk khawiki. Pamhnam naw jah ksingki; nangmi naw pi nami mlung üng nami na ksingkia ngai veng.

12 for we do not again recommend ourselves to you, but we are giving occasion to you of glorifying in our behalf, that you may have [something] in reference to those glorifying in face and not in heart;

Nami veia kami awhcah hlü bekia am kya ve, khyanga ngneingnawnga mawng am ni lü, khyanga ngtotai awhcah naki he nami jah msangnak be thei vaia mawng ka ning jah mtheh hlüki ni.

13 for whether we were beside ourselves, [it was] to God; whether we be of sound mind, [it is] to you,

Kami ang kcangki aw? Pamhnama phäha ni akya ve. Am acunüng kami ngsümki aw? Nangmi phäha ni akya ve.

14 for the love of the Christ constrains us, having judged thus: that if one died for all, then the whole died,

Khritawa jawng'engnak naw amthuia jah uki; Khyang naküta thihnak vaia nghnün üng khyang mat thi se acuna phäha khyang naküt thiki hea kami ngaiki.

15 and He died for all, that those living may no longer live to themselves, but to Him who died for them, and was raised again.

Acunüng, xüngki he ami mäta phäha am xüng ti u lü, ami thihnak vaia nghnün üng thi lü tho bekia phäha ami xünnak vaia ni khyang naküta phäha a thih ve.

16 So that we, from now on, have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him [thus] no longer;

Acunakyase, tuhkbäih üng tün lü pumsa thuma ua lei am mkhya ti ve ung. Khritaw mata khyanga thum am kami mkhya pe khawikia akya üng pi.

17 so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.

Acunakyase, khyang cun Khritaw üng a ve üng akthaia kyaki; akphyüm khyük bäih lü akthaia kya lawki.

18 And all things [are] of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of the reconciliation,

Ahmäi Pamhnama pawha kyase; ani naw Khritawa ye hea kyanak üngka naw amäta püi hea jah pawh lü, khyang kce pi a püia jah pawh vaia khut jah peki.

19 how that God was in Christ—reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses; and having put in us the word of the reconciliation,

Pamhnam naw Khritaw üng khyang avan a püia jah pawh lü, ami katnak he jah mhlät lü, ihawkba khyang he a püia a jah pawh ni tia ngthu keimi üng a jah pet.

20 in behalf of Christ, then, we are ambassadors, as if God were calling through us, we implore, in behalf of Christ, “Be reconciled to God”;

Pamhnam naw ning jah nghui nakia mäiha kami pyenki. Pamhnam naw kami ngthu pyen nami ngai khaia ning jah nghui naki. Yea kyanak üngka naw a püia kyanak vaia ning jah mthawng mhlai kawm tia Khritawa nghnün üng ning jah nghui na ve ung.

21 He made Him having not known sin [to be] sin in our behalf, that we may become the righteousness of God in Him.

Khritaw üng Pamhnama ngdüngdainak mi yumei püi khaia, katkawngnak am ksingeikia Khritaw cun Pamhnam naw mi phäha kakawngkia a pyang.
