2 Chronicles 36
1 And the people of the land take Jehoahaz son of Josiah and cause him to reign instead of his father in Jerusalem.
Entonces el pueblo de la tierra tomó a Joacaz, hijo de Josías, e hiciéronle rey en lugar de su padre en Jerusalem.
2 Jehoahaz [is] a son of twenty-three years in his reigning, and he has reigned three months in Jerusalem,
De veinte y tres años era Joacaz, cuando comenzó a reinar, y tres meses reinó en Jerusalem.
3 and the king of Egypt turns him aside in Jerusalem, and fines the land one hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold;
Y el rey de Egipto le quitó de Jerusalem, y condenó la tierra en cien talentos de plata, y uno de oro.
4 and the king of Egypt causes his brother Eliakim to reign over Judah and Jerusalem, and turns his name to Jehoiakim; and Necho has taken his brother Jehoahaz and brings him to Egypt.
Y constituyó el rey de Egipto a su hermano Eliacim por rey sobre Judá y Jerusalem, y mudóle el nombre Joacim: y a Joacaz su hermano tomó Necao, y llevóle a Egipto.
5 Jehoiakim [is] a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned eleven years in Jerusalem, and he does evil in the eyes of his God YHWH;
Cuando comenzó a reinar Joacim, era de veinte y cinco años: y reinó en Jerusalem once años: e hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová su Dios.
6 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has come up against him, and binds him in bronze chains to take him away to Babylon.
Y subió contra él Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y atado con dos cadenas le trajo a Babilonia.
7 And Nebuchadnezzar has brought from the vessels of the house of YHWH to Babylon, and puts them in his temple in Babylon.
Y metió también en Babilonia Nabucodonosor parte de los vasos de la casa de Jehová, y púsolos en su templo en Babilonia.
8 And the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim, and his abominations that he has done, and that which is found against him, behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah, and his son Jehoiachin reigns in his stead.
Lo demás de los hechos de Joacim, y las abominaciones que hizo, y lo que en él se halló, he aquí, está escrito en el libro de los reyes de Israel y de Judá: y reinó en su lugar Joaquín su hijo.
9 Jehoiachin [is] a son of eight years in his reigning, and he has reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem, and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH;
De ocho años era Joaquín cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem tres meses y diez días: e hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová.
10 and at the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar has sent and brings him to Babylon with the desirable vessels of the house of YHWH, and causes his brother Zedekiah to reign over Judah and Jerusalem.
A la vuelta del año el rey Nabucodonosor envió, e hízole llevar en Babilonia juntamente con los vasos preciosos de la casa de Jehová: y constituyó a Sedecías su hermano por rey sobre Judá y Jerusalem.
11 Zedekiah [is] a son of twenty-one years in his reigning, and he has reigned eleven years in Jerusalem;
De veinte y un año era Sedecías cuando comenzó a reinar, y once años reinó en Jerusalem.
12 and he does evil in the eyes of his God YHWH, he has not been humbled before Jeremiah the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of YHWH;
E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová su Dios, y no se humilló delante de Jeremías profeta que le hablaba de parte de Jehová.
13 and he has also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar who had caused him to swear by God, and he hardens his neck and strengthens his heart against turning back to YHWH, God of Israel.
Asimismo se rebeló contra Nabucodonosor, al cual había jurado por Dios, y endureció su cerviz, y obstinó su corazón, para no volverse a Jehová el Dios de Israel.
14 Also, all the heads of the priests and the people have multiplied to commit a trespass according to all the abominations of the nations, and they defile the house of YHWH that He has sanctified in Jerusalem.
Y también todos los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y el pueblo, aumentaron la rebelión, rebelándose conforme a todas las abominaciones de las gentes, y contaminando la casa de Jehová, la cual él había santificado en Jerusalem.
15 And YHWH, God of their fathers, sends to them by the hand of His messengers—rising early and sending—for He has had pity on His people and on His habitation,
Y Jehová el Dios de sus padres envió a ellos por mano de sus mensajeros, levantándose de mañana y enviando: porque él tenía misericordia de su pueblo, y de su habitación.
16 but they are mocking at the messengers of God, and despising His words, and acting deceitfully with His prophets, until the going up of the fury of YHWH against His people—until there is no healing.
Mas ellos hacían escarnio de los mensajeros de Dios, y menospreciaban sus palabras, burlándose de sus profetas, hasta que subió el furor de Jehová contra su pueblo, y que no hubo medicina.
17 And He causes the king of the Chaldeans to go up against them, and he slays their chosen ones by the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and has had no pity on young man and virgin, old man and very aged—He has given the whole into his hand.
Por lo cual él trajo contra ellos al rey de los Caldeos que pasó a cuchillo sus mancebos en la casa de su santuario, sin perdonar mancebo, ni doncella, ni viejo, ni decrépito: todos los entregó en sus manos.
18 And all the vessels of the house of God, the great and the small, and the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the king and of his princes—he has brought the whole to Babylon.
Asimismo todos los vasos de la casa de Dios, grandes y chicos, los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros del rey, y de sus príncipes, todo lo llevo a Babilonia.
19 And they burn the house of God, and break down the wall of Jerusalem, and they have burned all its palaces with fire, and all its desirable vessels—to destruction.
Y quemaron la casa de Dios, y rompieron el muro de Jerusalem, y todos sus palacios quemaron a fuego, y destruyeron todos sus vasos deseables.
20 And he removes those left of the sword to Babylon, and they are to him and to his sons for servants, until the reigning of the kingdom of Persia,
Los que quedaron de la espada, los pasaron a Babilonia, y fueron siervos de el y de sus hijos, hasta que vino el reino de los Persas;
21 to fulfill the word of YHWH in the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land has enjoyed its Sabbaths; all the days of the desolation it kept Sabbath—to the fullness of seventy years.
Para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por la boca de Jeremías, hasta que la tierra cumpliese sus sábados: porque todo el tiempo de su asolamiento reposó, hasta que los setenta años fueron cumplidos.
22 And in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, at the completion of the word of YHWH in the mouth of Jeremiah, YHWH has awoken the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he causes an intimation to pass over into all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying,
Mas al primer año de Ciro rey de los Persas, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová dicha por la boca de Jeremías, Jehová despertó el espíritu de Ciro rey de los Persas, el cual hizo pasar pregón por todo su reino, y también por escrito, diciendo:
23 “Thus said Cyrus king of Persia: YHWH, God of the heavens, has given all kingdoms of the earth to me, and He has laid a charge on me to build a house for Him in Jerusalem which [is] in Judah; who is among you of all His people? His God YHWH [is] with him, and he goes up!”
Así dice Ciro rey de los Persas: Jehová el Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y él me ha encargado, que le edifique casa en Jerusalem, que es en Judá: ¿Quién de vosotros hay de todo su pueblo? Jehová su Dios sea con él, y suba.
