2 Chronicles 3
1 And Solomon begins to build the house of YHWH in Jerusalem, on the mount of Moriah where He appeared to his father David, in the place that David had prepared, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite,

2 and he begins to build in the second [day], in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
Ary nanomboka nanao ny trano izy tamin’ ny andro faharoa tamin’ ny volana faharoa tamin’ ny taona fahefatra nanjakany.
3 And [in] these Solomon has been instructed to build the house of God: the length [in] cubits by the former measure [is] sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
Ary toy izao no nanorenan’ i Solomona ny tranon’ Andriamanitra: Ny lavany, raha araka ny hakiho taloha, dia enim-polo hakiho, ary ny sakany roa-polo hakiho.
4 As for the porch that [is] on the front, the length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house—twenty cubits, and the height one hundred and twenty [[or twenty]], and he overlays it within with pure gold.
Ary ny amin’ ny lavarangana fidirana izay teo anoloany, ny lavany dia roa-polo hakiho, dia araka ny sakan’ ny trano ihany, ary ny hahavony dia roa-polo amby zato hakiho; ary nopetahany takela-bolamena tsara ny ao anatiny.
5 And he has covered the large house with fir-trees, and he covers it with fine gold, and causes palms and chains to ascend on it,
Ary ny ati-trano lehibe nopetahany hazo kypreso, dia vao nopetahany takela-bolamena tsara ireo ary noravahany hazo rofia sy tongalika.
6 and he overlays the house with precious stone for beauty, and the gold [is] gold of Parvaim,
Ary noravahany vato soa koa ny trano; ary ny volamena dia volamena avy any Parvaima.
7 and he covers the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold, and has engraved cherubim on the walls.
Ary nopetahany takela-bolamena ny trano, dia ny rairainy sy ny tokonany sy ny rindriny ary ny lela-varavarany; ary nosoratany nasiany sarin’ ny kerobima ny rindrina.
8 And he makes the most holy house: its length by the front of the breadth of the house—twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and he covers it with six hundred talents of fine gold;
Ary nanao ny efi-trano masìna indrindra izy: ny lavany dia roa-polo hakiho mifanerana amin’ ny sakan’ ny trano, ary roa-polo hakiho koa ny sakany; ary nopetahany takela-bolamena tsara talenta enin-jato izy
9 and the weight of the nails [is] fifty shekels of gold, and he has covered the upper chambers with gold.
Ary ny lanjan’ ny hombo volamena dia sekely dimam-polo. Ary ny efi-trano ambony nopetahany volamena koa.
10 And he makes two cherubim in the most holy house, image work, and he overlays them with gold;
Ary tao amin’ ny efi-trano masìna indrindra dia nasiany sarin’ ny kerobima roa, ary nosokiriny no nanaovany azy, dia nopetahany takela-bolamena.
11 as for the wings of the cherubim, their length [is] twenty cubits, the wing of the one [is] five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.
Ny halavan’ ny elatry ny kerobima dia roa-polo hakiho: ny elatry ny anankiray dia dimy hakiho, mipaka amin’ ny rindrina; ary ny elany iray koa dimy hakiho sady mifanendry amin’ ny elatry ny kerobima anankiray;
12 And the wing of the other cherub [is] five cubits touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, adhering to the wing of the other cherub.
ary ny elatry ny kerobima anankiray koa dia dimy hakiho, mipaka amin’ ny rindrina; ary ny elany iray koa dimy hakiho sady mifanendry amin’ ny elatry ny kerobima anankiray.
13 The wings of these cherubim are spreading forth twenty cubits, and they are standing on their feet and their faces [are] inward.
Nivelatra ny elatr’ ireo kerobima ireo, ka roa-polo hakiho ny halavany; nijoro tamin’ ny tongony, tarehiny nanatrika ny trano.
14 And he makes the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and causes cherubim to go up on it.
Ary izy nanao ny efitra lamba tamin’ ny manga sy volomparasy sy jaky sy rongony fotsy madinika; ary nataony sarin’ ny kerobima ny sorany.
15 And he makes two pillars at the front of the house, thirty-five cubits in length, and the ornament that [is] on their heads [is] five cubits.
Ary nanao andry roa teo anoloan’ ny trano izy; dimy amby telo-polo hakiho ny hahavony, ary ny kapitaly teo an-tampony dia dimy hakiho ary.
16 And he makes chains in the oracle, and puts [them] on the heads of the pillars, and makes one hundred pomegranates, and puts [them] on the chains.
Ary nanao tongalika tao amin’ ny efitra anatiny izy, ka nataony teo an-tampon’ ny andry ireo; ary nanao sarin’ apongaben-danitra zato izy, ka nataony teo amin’ ny tongalika ireo.
17 And he raises up the pillars on the front of the temple, one on the right and one on the left, and calls the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
Ary ny andry natsangany teo anoloan’ ny tempoly, ny iray tamin’ ny ankavanana, ary ny iray tamin’ ny ankavia; ary ny anaran’ ny teo amin’ ny ankavanana nanao ny hoe Jakina, ary ny anaran’ ny teo amin’ ny ankavia kosa natao hoe Boaza.
