2 Chronicles 29

1 Hezekiah [was] a son of twenty-five years [when] he has reigned, and he has reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Abijah daughter of Zechariah;

೧ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಅಬೀಯ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ.

2 and he does that which is right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father David did.

೨ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.

3 He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, has opened the doors of the house of YHWH, and strengthens them,

೩ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

4 and brings in the priests and the Levites, and gathers them to the broad place to the east.

೪ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮೂಡಣದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿ

5 And he says to them, “Hear me, O Levites, now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of YHWH, God of your fathers, and bring out the impurity from the holy place,

೫ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಲೇವಿಯರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೊಲಸನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿರಿ.

6 for our fathers have trespassed, and done that which is evil in the eyes of our God YHWH, and forsake him, and turn around their faces from the Dwelling Place of YHWH, and give the neck.

೬ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿ, ಆತನ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ಆತನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರು ಆತನ ನಿವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ವಿಮುಖರಾದರು.

7 They have also shut the doors of the porch, and quench the lamps, and they have not made incense, and have not caused burnt-offering to ascend in the holy place to the God of Israel,

೭ಅದರ ಮಂಟಪದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

8 and the wrath of YHWH is on Judah and Jerusalem, and He gives them for a trembling, for an astonishment, and for a hissing, as you are seeing with your eyes.

೮ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಕೋಪವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಭಯಭೀತಿಗೂ ನಿಂದೆಗೂ, ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು.

9 And behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons, and our daughters, and our wives [are] in captivity for this.

೯ಅದೇ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹತರಾದರು; ನಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ, ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಸೆರೆಯವರಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

10 Now [it is] with my heart to make a covenant before YHWH, God of Israel, and the fierceness of His anger turns back from us.

೧೦ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯು ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೊಡನೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

11 My sons, do not be at rest now, for YHWH has fixed on you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and to be ministering and making incense to Him.”

೧೧ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಉದಾಸೀನರಾಗಿರಬೇಡಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

12 And the Levites rise—Mahath son of Amasai, and Joel son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathite; and of the sons of Merari: Kish son of Abdi, and Azariah son of Jehalelel; and of the Gershonite: Joah son of Zimmah, and Eden son of Joah;

೧೨ಕೂಡಲೆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದರು: ಕೆಹಾತ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಾಸೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಹತ್, ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವೇಲ್, ಮೆರಾರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ದೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕೀಷ್, ಯೆಹಲ್ಲೆಲೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯ, ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಮ್ಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಹ, ಯೋವಾಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏದೆನ್,

13 and of the sons of Elizaphan: Shimri and Jeiel; and of the sons of Asaph: Zechariah and Mattaniah;

೧೩ಎಲೀಚಾಫಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಮ್ರಾ, ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್, ಆಸಾಫ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ,

14 and of the sons of Heman: Jehiel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun: Shemaiah and Uzziel—

೧೪ಹೇಮಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ, ಯೆದೂತೂನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಮಾಯ ಹಾಗು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲ್,

15 and they gather their brothers, and sanctify themselves, and come in, according to the command of the king in the matters of YHWH, to cleanse the house of YHWH,

೧೫ಎಂಬ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಎದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಧಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

16 and the priests come into the inner part of the house of YHWH to cleanse [it], and bring out all the uncleanness that they have found in the temple of YHWH to the court of the house of YHWH, and the Levites receive [it], to take [it] out to the Brook of Kidron outside.

೧೬ಯಾಜಕರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹೊಲಸನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಂದು ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಒಯ್ದು ಕಿದ್ರೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.

17 And they begin to sanctify on the first of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they have come to the porch of YHWH, and they sanctify the house of YHWH in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they have finished.

೧೭ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಮಂಟಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟು ದಿನಗಳು ಕಳೆದು ಹೋದವು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು.

18 And they come in to Hezekiah the king within, and say, “We have cleansed all the house of YHWH, and the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and the table of the arrangement, and all its vessels,

೧೮ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಅರಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಮಸ್ತಾಲಯವನ್ನೂ, ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನಿಡತಕ್ಕ ಮೇಜನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗು ಅದರ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿದೆವು.

19 and all the vessels that King Ahaz cast away in his reign—in his trespass—we have prepared and sanctified, and behold, they [are] before the altar of YHWH.”

೧೯ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೈವದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾಗಿ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ತಂದಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಅವು ಈಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮುಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ” ಎಂದರು.

20 And Hezekiah the king rises early, and gathers the heads of the city, and goes up to the house of YHWH;

೨೦ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಮರುದಿನ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲೆದ್ದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.

21 and they bring in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven young male goats, for a sin-offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah; and he commands to sons of Aaron, the priests, to cause [them] to ascend on the altar of YHWH.

೨೧ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯಾಡಳಿತ ದೇವಾಲಯ, ಯೆಹೂದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಇವುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿ, ಟಗರು, ಕುರಿಮರಿ, ಆಡು ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳೇಳನ್ನು ತಂದರು. ಅರಸನು ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

22 And they slaughter the oxen, and the priests receive the blood, and sprinkle on the altar; and they slaughter the rams, and sprinkle the blood on the altar; and they slaughter the lambs, and sprinkle the blood on the altar;

೨೨ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಅನಂತರ ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಜಕರು, ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಅನಂತರ ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.

23 and they bring the male goats of the sin-offering near before the king and the assembly, and they lay their hands on them;

೨೩ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಂದ ಹೋತಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೂಹದವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟರು.

24 and the priests slaughter them, and make a sin-offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel, that “For all Israel,” said the king, “[is] the burnt-offering and the sin-offering.”

೨೪ನಂತರ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೋಷ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿದರು. ಆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳೂ, ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅರಸನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನು.

25 And he appoints the Levites in the house of YHWH with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, by the command of David, and of Gad, seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, for the command [is] by the hand of YHWH, by the hand of His prophets;

೨೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅವನು ತಾಳ, ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಭಜಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು, ದಾವೀದನ ರಾಜದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಗಾದ್ ಹಾಗು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನ್ ಇವರ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನೇ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನು.

26 and the Levites stand with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

೨೬ಆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ದಾವೀದನ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಯಾಜಕರೂ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.

27 And Hezekiah commands to cause the burnt-offering to ascend on the altar; and at the time the burnt-offering began, the song of YHWH began, and the trumpets, and with [the] hands of [the] instruments of David king of Israel.

೨೭ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೊಡನೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ರಾಜನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸುವುದೂ, ತುತ್ತೂರಿ ಊದುವುದೂ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

28 And all the assembly are worshiping, and the singers singing, and the trumpeters blowing; the whole [is] until the completion of the burnt-offering.

೨೮ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯು ಮುಗಿಯುವವರೆಗೆ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೂ, ಗಾಯಕರೂ ಗಾನಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೂ, ತುತ್ತೂರಿ ಊದುವವರು ತುತ್ತೂರಿ ಊದುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದರು.

29 And at the completion of the offering up, the king and all those found with him have bowed, and pay respect.

೨೯ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

30 And Hezekiah the king commands—and the princes—to the Levites [to cause them] to give praise to YHWH in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, and they praise—to joy, and they bow, and pay respect.

೩೦ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ, ಪ್ರಭುಗಳೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಮತ್ತು ದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು, ಅವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು.

31 And Hezekiah answers and says, “Now you have filled your hand for YHWH, come near, and bring in sacrifices and thank-offerings to the house of YHWH”; and the assembly brings in sacrifices and thank-offerings, and every willing-hearted one—burnt-offerings.

೩೧ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಈಗ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿಯಲ್ಲಾ; ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಆತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ” ಎನ್ನಲು ಸಮೂಹದವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅನೇಕರು ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

32 And the number of the burnt-offerings that the assembly has brought in is seventy oxen, one hundred rams, [and] two hundred lambs; for all these [are] a burnt-offering to YHWH.

೩೨ಸಮೂಹದವರು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತಂದೊಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಹೋರಿಗಳು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು, ಟಗರುಗಳು ನೂರು, ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂರು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಮೀಸಲಾದವು.

33 And the sanctified things [are] six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

೩೩ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಿಗಳು ಆರುನೂರು, ಕುರಿಗಳು ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ.

34 Only, the priests have become few, and have not been able to strip the whole of the burnt-offerings, and their brothers the Levites strengthen them until the completion of the work, and until the priests sanctify themselves, for the Levites [are] more upright of heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

೩೪ಯಾಜಕರು ಕೆಲವು ಮಂದಿಯಾದುದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಚರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಸುಲಿಯುವುದು ಅವರಿಂದ ಆಗದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಗೂ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವು ಮುಗಿಯುವ ತನಕ, ಅವರ ಬಂಧುಗಳಾದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗಿಂತ ಲೇವಿಯರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

35 And also, burnt-offerings [are] in abundance, with fat of the peace-offerings, and with oblations for the burnt-offering; and the service of the house of YHWH is established,

೩೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ, ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬು ಹಾಗು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯ ಇವು ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

36 and Hezekiah and all the people rejoice because of God’s giving preparation to the people, for the thing has been suddenly.

೩೬ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವಾಕ್ರಮವು ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಯಿತು. ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದರು.
