2 Chronicles 19

1 And Jehoshaphat king of Judah turns back to his house in peace, to Jerusalem,

௧யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத், எருசலேமிலுள்ள தன் வீட்டிற்குச் சமாதானத்தோடு திரும்பிவந்தான்.

2 and Jehu son of Hanani the seer goes out to his presence and says to King Jehoshaphat, “Do you love to give help to the wicked and to those hating YHWH? And for this, wrath [is] against you from before YHWH,

௨அப்பொழுது அனானியின் மகனாகிய யெகூ என்னும் தரிசனம் காண்கிறவன் புறப்பட்டு, அவனைச் சந்தித்து, ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: துன்மார்க்கனுக்குத் துணைநின்று, யெகோவாவைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை நீர் சிநேகிக்கலாமா? இதனால் யெகோவாவுடைய கடுங்கோபம் உம்மேல் வர இருந்தது.

3 but good things have been found with you, for you have put away the Asheroth out of the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.”

௩ஆகிலும் நீர் விக்கிரகத்தோப்புகளைத் தேசத்தைவிட்டு அகற்றி, தேவனைத் தேட உம்முடைய இருதயத்தை நேராக்கின காரியத்தில் நன்மையான காரியங்கள் உம்மிடத்திலே காணப்பட்டது உண்டு என்றான்.

4 And Jehoshaphat dwells in Jerusalem, and he turns back and goes out among the people from Beer-Sheba to the hill-country of Ephraim, and brings them back to YHWH, God of their fathers.

௪யோசபாத் எருசலேமிலே குடியிருந்து, திரும்ப பெயர்செபா தொடங்கி, எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசம்வரை உள்ள மக்களுக்குள்ளே பிரயாணமாகப் போய், அவர்களைத் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடம் திரும்பச்செய்தான்.

5 And he establishes judges in the land, in all the fortified cities of Judah, for every city,

௫அவன் யூதாவின் பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணங்களாகிய ஒவ்வொரு பட்டணத்திலும் நியாயாதிபதிகளை வைத்து,

6 and says to the ones judging, “See what you are doing—for you do not judge for man, but for YHWH, who [is] with you in the matter of judgment;

௬அந்த நியாயாதிபதிகளை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் செய்கிற காரியத்தைக் குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; நீங்கள் மனிதனுடைய கட்டளையினால் அல்ல, யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளையினால் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறீர்கள்; நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிற காரியத்திலே அவர் உங்களுடனே இருக்கிறார்.

7 and now, let fear of YHWH be on you, observe and do, for there is not perverseness with our God YHWH, and favoring by appearance, and taking of a bribe.”

௭ஆதலால் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பயம் உங்களிடத்தில் இருப்பதாக, எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து காரியத்தை நடத்துங்கள்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்திலே அநியாயமும் பாரபட்சமும் இல்லை, லஞ்சம் வாங்குதலும் அவரிடத்திலே செல்லாது என்றான்.

8 And also in Jerusalem, Jehoshaphat has appointed of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the heads of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of YHWH, and for strife; and they return to Jerusalem,

௮அவர்கள் எருசலேமில் வந்திருக்கும்போது, யோசபாத் லேவியர்களிலும், ஆசாரியர்களிலும், இஸ்ரவேலுடைய வம்சத்தலைவரிலும், சிலரைக் யெகோவாவுடைய நியாயங்களைக்குறித்தும் விவாதக் காரியங்களைக்குறித்தும் விசாரிக்கும்படி எருசலேமிலே நியமித்து,

9 and he lays a charge on them, saying, “Thus do you do in the fear of YHWH, in faithfulness, and with a perfect heart,

௯அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டதாவது: நீங்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, உண்மையோடும் உத்தம இருதயத்தோடும் நடந்து, செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்,

10 and any strife that comes to you of your brothers who are dwelling in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and command, statutes, and judgments, then you have warned them and they do not become guilty before YHWH, and wrath has not been on you and on your brothers; thus do you do, and you are not guilty.

௧0பலவித இரத்தப்பழியைக்குறித்த காரியங்களும், பிரமாணத்திற்கும், கற்பனைக்கும், கட்டளைகளுக்கும், நியாயங்களுக்கும் அடுத்த பலவித வழக்குச்செய்திகளும், தங்கள் பட்டணங்களிலே குடியிருக்கிற உங்கள் சகோதரரிடத்திலிருந்து உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது, அவர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகக் குற்றவாளிகள் ஆகாமலிருக்கவும், உங்கள்மேலும் உங்கள் சகோதரர்கள் மேலும் கடுங்கோபம் வராமலிருக்கவும், நீங்கள் அவர்களை எச்சரியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் இப்படிச் செய்தால் குற்றவாளிகள் ஆகமாட்டீர்கள்.

11 And behold, Amariah the head priest [is] over you for every matter of YHWH, and Zebadiah son of Ishmael, the leader of the house of Judah, [is] for every matter of the king, and the Levites [are] officers before you; be strong and do, and YHWH is with the good.”

௧௧இதோ, ஆசாரியனாகிய அமரியா, யெகோவாவுக்குரிய எல்லா நியாயத்திலும், இஸ்மவேலின் மகனாகிய செபதியா என்னும் யூதா வம்சத்தின் தலைவன் ராஜாவுக்குரிய எல்லா நியாயத்திலும் உங்களுக்கு மேலான நியாயாதிபதிகள்; லேவியர்களும் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அதிகாரிகளாக இருந்து உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வார்கள்; நீங்கள் திடமனதாயிருந்து காரியங்களை நடத்துங்கள், உத்தமனுக்குக் யெகோவா துணை என்றான்.
