2 Chronicles 14
1 And Abijah lies with his fathers, and they bury him in the City of David, and his son Asa reigns in his stead. In his days the land was quiet [for] ten years.
Абия а адормит ку пэринций луй ши а фост ынгропат ын четатя луй Давид. Ши, ын локул луй, а домнит фиул сэу Аса. Пе время луй, цара а авут одихнэ зече ань.
2 And Asa does that which is good and that which is right in the eyes of his God YHWH,
Аса а фэкут че есте бине ши плэкут ынаинтя Домнулуй Думнезеулуй сэу.
3 and turns aside the altars of the stranger, and the high places, and breaks the standing-pillars, and cuts down the Asherim,
А ындепэртат алтареле думнезеилор стрэинь ши ынэлцимиле, а сфэрымат стылпий идолешть ши а тэят астартееле.
4 and commands to Judah to seek YHWH, God of their fathers, and to do the Law and the command;
А порунчит луй Иуда сэ кауте пе Домнул Думнезеул пэринцилор сэй ши сэ ымплиняскэ Леӂя ши порунчиле.
5 and he turns aside the high places and the images out of all cities of Judah, and the kingdom is quiet before him.
А ындепэртат дин тоате четэциле луй Иуда ынэлцимиле ши стылпий ынкинаць соарелуй. Ши ымпэрэция а авут паче суб ел.
6 And he builds cities of bulwarks in Judah, for the land has quiet; and there is no war with him in these years, because YHWH has given rest to him.
А зидит четэць ынтэрите ын Иуда, кэч цара а фост лиништитэ ши ымпотрива луй н-а фост рэзбой ын аний ачея, пентру кэ Домнул й-а дат одихнэ.
7 And he says to Judah, “Let us build these cities, and surround [them] with wall, and towers, double gates, and bars, while the land [is] before us, because we have sought our God YHWH, we have sought, and He gives rest to us all around”; and they build and prosper.
Ел а зис луй Иуда: „Сэ зидим ачесте четэць ши сэ ле ынконжурэм ку зидурь, ку турнурь, ку порць ши ку зэвоаре; цара есте ынкэ а ноастрэ, кэч ам кэутат пе Домнул Думнезеул ностру. Л-ам кэутат, ши Ел не-а дат одихнэ дин тоате пэрциле.” Ау зидит дар ши ау избутит.
8 And Asa has a force of three hundred thousand from Judah carrying buckler and spear, and two hundred and eighty thousand from Benjamin carrying shield and treading bow; all these [are] mighty men of valor.
Аса авя о оштире де трей суте де мий де оамень дин Иуда, каре пуртау скут ши сулицэ, ши доуэ суте оптзечь де мий дин Бениамин, каре пуртау скут ши трэӂяу ку аркул, тоць оамень витежь.
9 And Zerah the Cushite comes out to them with a force of one million [men] and three hundred chariots, and he comes to Mareshah,
Зерах, Етиопиянул, а ешит ымпотрива лор ку о оштире де ун милион де оамень ши трей суте де каре ши а ынаинтат пынэ ла Мареша.
10 and Asa goes out before him, and they set in array [for] battle in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
Аса а мерс ынаинтя луй ши с-ау ыншируит де бэтае ын валя Цефата, лынгэ Мареша.
11 And Asa calls to his God YHWH and says, “YHWH, it is nothing for You to help, between the mighty and those who have no power; help us, O YHWH, our God, for we have leaned on You, and in Your Name we have come against this multitude; O YHWH, You [are] our God; do not let mortal man prevail against You!”
Аса а кемат пе Домнул Думнезеул луй ши а зис: „Доамне, нумай Ту поць вени ын ажутор челуй слаб ка ши челуй таре, вино ын ажуторул ностру, Доамне, Думнезеул ностру! Кэч пе Тине не сприжиним ши ын Нумеле Тэу ам венит ымпотрива ачестей мулцимь. Доамне, Ту ешть Думнезеул ностру: сэ ну ясэ бируитор омул ымпотрива Та!”
12 And YHWH strikes the Cushim before Asa and before Judah, and the Cushim flee,
Домнул а ловит пе етиопень динаинтя луй Аса ши динаинтя луй Иуда, ши етиопений ау луат-о ла фугэ.
13 and Asa and the people who [are] with him pursue them even to Gerar, and there falls [many] from the Cushim, for they have no preserving, because they have been broken before YHWH and before His camp; and [those of Judah] carry away very much spoil,
Аса ши попорул каре ера ку ел й-ау урмэрит пынэ ла Герар, ши етиопений ау кэзут фэрэ сэ-шь поатэ скэпа вяца, кэч ау фост нимичиць де Домнул ши де оштиря Луй. Аса ши попорул луй ау фэкут о прадэ маре;
14 and strike all the cities around Gerar, for a fear of YHWH has been on them, and they spoil all the cities, for abundant spoil has been in them;
ау бэтут тоате четэциле дин ымпрежуримиле Герарулуй, кэч гроаза Домнулуй кэзусе песте еле, ши ау жефуит тоате четэциле а кэрор прадэ ера маре.
15 and they have also struck tents of livestock, and they capture sheep in abundance, and camels, and return to Jerusalem.
Ау ловит ши кортуриле турмелор ши ау луат ку ей о маре мулциме де ой ши де кэмиле. Апой с-ау ынторс ла Иерусалим.
