1 Thessalonians 4
1 As to the rest, then, brothers, we request, and call on you in the Lord Jesus, as you received from us how it is necessary for you to walk and to please God, that you may abound the more,
හේ භ්‍රාතරඃ, යුෂ්මාභිඃ කීදෘග් ආචරිතව්‍යං ඊශ්වරාය රෝචිතව්‍යඤ්ච තදධ්‍යස්මත්තෝ යා ශික්‍ෂා ලබ්ධා තදනුසාරාත් පුනරතිශයං යත්නඃ ක්‍රියතාමිති වයං ප්‍රභුයීශුනා යුෂ්මාන් විනීයාදිශාමඃ|
2 for you have known what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus;
යතෝ වයං ප්‍රභුයීශුනා කීදෘශීරාඥා යුෂ්මාසු සමර්පිතවන්තස්තද් යූයං ජානීථ|
3 for this is the will of God—your sanctification: that you abstain from the whoredom,
ඊශ්වරස්‍යායම් අභිලාෂෝ යද් යුෂ්මාකං පවිත්‍රතා භවේත්, යූයං ව්‍යභිචාරාද් දූරේ තිෂ්ඨත|
4 that each of you know to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
යුෂ්මාකම් ඒකෛකෝ ජනඃ ස්වකීයං ප්‍රාණාධාරං පවිත්‍රං මාන්‍යඤ්ච රක්‍ෂතු,
5 not in the affection of desire, as also the nations that were not knowing God,
යේ ච භින්නජාතීයා ලෝකා ඊශ්වරං න ජානන්ති ත ඉව තත් කාමාභිලාෂස්‍යාධීනං න කරෝතු|
6 that no one goes beyond and defrauds his brother in the matter, because the LORD [is] an avenger of all these, as we also spoke to you before and testified,
ඒතස්මින් විෂයේ කෝ(අ)ප්‍යත්‍යාචාරී භූත්වා ස්වභ්‍රාතරං න වඤ්චයතු යතෝ(අ)ස්මාභිඃ පූර්ව්වං යථෝක්තං ප්‍රමාණීකෘතඤ්ච තථෛව ප්‍රභුරේතාදෘශානාං කර්ම්මණාං සමුචිතං ඵලං දාස්‍යති|
7 for God did not call us to uncleanness, but in sanctification.
යස්මාද් ඊශ්වරෝ(අ)ස්මාන් අශුචිතායෛ නාහූතවාන් කින්තු පවිත්‍රත්වායෛවාහූතවාන්|
8 He, therefore, who is despising, does not despise man, but God, who also gave His Holy Spirit to us.
අතෝ හේතෝ ර‍්‍යඃ කශ්චිද් වාක්‍යමේතන්න ගෘහ්ලාති ස මනුෂ්‍යම් අවජානාතීති නහි යේන ස්වකීයාත්මා යුෂ්මදන්තරේ සමර්පිතස්තම් ඊශ්වරම් ඒවාවජානාති|
9 And concerning the brotherly love, you have no need of [my] writing to you, for you yourselves are God-taught to love one another,
භ්‍රාතෘෂු ප්‍රේමකරණමධි යුෂ්මාන් ප්‍රති මම ලිඛනං නිෂ්ප්‍රයෝජනං යතෝ යූයං පරස්පරං ප්‍රේමකරණායේශ්වරශික්‍ෂිතා ලෝකා ආධ්වේ|
10 for you do it also to all the brothers who [are] in all Macedonia; and we call on you, brothers, to abound still more,
කෘත්ස්නේ මාකිදනියාදේශේ ච යාවන්තෝ භ්‍රාතරඃ සන්ති තාන් සර්ව්වාන් ප්‍රති යුෂ්මාභිස්තත් ප්‍රේම ප්‍රකාශ්‍යතේ තථාපි හේ භ්‍රාතරඃ, වයං යුෂ්මාන් විනයාමහේ යූයං පුන ර්බහුතරං ප්‍රේම ප්‍රකාශයත|
11 and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
අපරං යේ බහිඃස්ථිතාස්තේෂාං දෘෂ්ටිගෝචරේ යුෂ්මාකම් ආචරණං යත් මනෝරම්‍යං භවේත් කස්‍යාපි වස්තුනශ්චාභාවෝ යුෂ්මාකං යන්න භවේත්,
12 that you may walk properly to those outside, and may have lack of nothing.
ඒතදර්ථං යූයම් අස්මත්තෝ යාදෘශම් ආදේශං ප්‍රාප්තවන්තස්තාදෘශං නිර්විරෝධාචාරං කර්ත්තුං ස්වස්වකර්ම්මණි මනාංමි නිධාතුං නිජකරෛශ්ච කාර‍්‍ය්‍යං සාධයිතුං යතධ්වං|
13 And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that you may not sorrow, as also the rest who have no hope,
හේ භ්‍රාතරඃ නිරාශා අන්‍යේ ලෝකා ඉව යූයං යන්න ශෝචේධ්වං තදර්ථං මහානිද්‍රාගතාන් ලෝකානධි යුෂ්මාකම් අඥානතා මයා නාභිලෂ්‍යතේ|
14 for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also God will bring with Him those asleep through Jesus,
යීශු ර්මෘතවාන් පුනරුථිතවාංශ්චේති යදි වයං විශ්වාසමස්තර්හි යීශුම් ආශ්‍රිතාන් මහානිද්‍රාප්‍රාප්තාන් ලෝකානපීශ්වරෝ(අ)වශ්‍යං තේන සාර්ද්ධම් ආනේෂ්‍යති|
15 for we say this to you in the word of the LORD, that we who are living—who remain over to the coming of the LORD—may not precede those asleep,
යතෝ(අ)හං ප්‍රභෝ ර්වාක්‍යේන යුෂ්මාන් ඉදං ඥාපයාමි; අස්මාකං මධ්‍යේ යේ ජනාඃ ප්‍රභෝරාගමනං යාවත් ජීවන්තෝ(අ)වශේක්‍ෂ්‍යන්තේ තේ මහානිද්‍රිතානාම් අග්‍රගාමිනෝන න භවිෂ්‍යන්ති;
16 because the LORD Himself, with a shout, with the voice of a chief-messenger, and with the trumpet of God, will come down from Heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first;
යතඃ ප්‍රභුඃ සිංහනාදේන ප්‍රධානස්වර්ගදූතස්‍යෝච්චෛඃ ශබ්දේනේශ්වරීයතූරීවාද්‍යේන ච ස්වයං ස්වර්ගාද් අවරෝක්‍ෂ්‍යති තේන ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටාශ්‍රිතා මෘතලෝකාඃ ප්‍රථමම් උත්ථාස්‍යාන්ති|
17 then we who are living, who are remaining over, will be snatched up together with them in [the] clouds to meet the LORD in [the] air, and so we will always be with the LORD;
අපරම් අස්මාකං මධ්‍යේ යේ ජීවන්තෝ(අ)වශේක්‍ෂ්‍යන්තේ ත ආකාශේ ප්‍රභෝඃ සාක්‍ෂාත්කරණාර්ථං තෛඃ සාර්ද්ධං මේඝවාහනේන හරිෂ්‍යන්තේ; ඉත්ථඤ්ච වයං සර්ව්වදා ප්‍රභුනා සාර්ද්ධං ස්ථාස්‍යාමඃ|
18 so, then, comfort one another with these words.
අතෝ යූයම් ඒතාභිඃ කථාභිඃ පරස්පරං සාන්ත්වයත|
