< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Susura ia mia au, Petrus, naeni Yesus Kristus dedꞌenun. Au suraꞌ susura ia fee neu basa hei fo Lamatualain pili nala nggi ena. Mia fefeun, Amaꞌ Lamatualain pili nala nggi ena fo dadꞌi Eni atahorin. Dula-dꞌalen o tao nameu nggi soaꞌ neu Eni, naa fo ama tao tungga basa parendaꞌ fo Yesus Kristus fee nggiꞌ a. Ma mete ma ama tao tungga basa parendan naa ra, naa onaꞌ Lamatuaꞌ bibirus Yesus raan neu nggi, dadꞌi tatandaꞌ oi, ama dadꞌi meuꞌ fee neu E. Au hule-oꞌe fo Lamatualain natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi, fo ona bee na, ama misodꞌa tamba fai na tamba nenee lino-lino ma mole-dame.
2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God the Father, by [the] sanctification of the Spirit, to [the] obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you!
3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness begot us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
Basa kokoa-kikioꞌ soaꞌ neu Lamatualain! Eni, hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus Aman. Huu Lamatuaꞌ rala susuen, naeni de Ana sue naseliꞌ nggita. Yesus Kristus mate, basa ma Ana nasodꞌa baliꞌ. Dadꞌi mete ma Yesus Kristus fee nggita tasodꞌa, na Ana fee nggita masodꞌa feuꞌ onaꞌ hita nenebꞌonggi baliꞌ. Naeni de ata tamahere takandoo neu Kristus, ma tamahena tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ tae, dei fo Ana naꞌabꞌoi nggita no maloleꞌ.
4 to an incorruptible inheritance, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved for you in the heavens,
Sia raefafoꞌ ia, mete ma amaꞌ esa mate, na, ana lao hela hata-heton fee neu ana nara. Onaꞌ naa boe, Yesus mbedaꞌ hela pusaka fee nggita sia sorga.
5 who, in the power of God are being guarded, through faith, to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time,
Hei mimihere mae, Lamatuaꞌ naꞌena koasa fo tulu-fali nala nggi. Ana naꞌaboi ma nanea nggi, fo nda hambu mana tao ralutu nggi sa. Ma mete ma raefafoꞌ sambu-lalo, Ana nae natudꞌu, no dalaꞌ bee Eni fee masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi.
6 in which you are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in various trials,
7 so that the proof of your faith—much more precious than gold that is perishing, and being approved through fire—may be found to [result in] praise, and honor, and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Lamatualain hela nggita hambu sosobꞌa-dodꞌouꞌ ra, fo nae fora nemehere tara neu E. Mete ma ata tala seri mia sosobꞌaꞌ ra, naa natudꞌu oi, hita nemeheren mahereꞌ ma matetuꞌ. Bisa taꞌasasamaꞌ no lilo a. Huu hita musi hotu lilo a neu ai a, fo orut hendi manggenggeon, dei fo ata feꞌe hambu lilo a meun. Tao-tao te, tungga Lamatualain dudꞌuꞌan, hita nemeheren felin lenaꞌ lilo mbilas.
8 whom, having not seen, you love, in whom, now believing [although] not seeing, you are glad with unspeakable joy and have been filled with glory,
9 receiving the outcome of the faith—salvation of your souls;
Huu mimihere Yesus, de hei hahambum, naeni Lamatualain fee masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi mia sala-singgo mara.
10 concerning which salvation [the] prophets sought out and searched out, who prophesied concerning the grace toward you,
Lamatualain mana ola-olan dalahuluꞌ ra sangga dalaꞌ fo rae rahine no maloleꞌ, no dalaꞌ bee Lamatualain fee atahori rasodꞌa mia sala-singgo nara. Mana ola-olaꞌ naa ra rafadꞌe memaꞌ soꞌal Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi, huu Ana sadꞌia memaꞌ nae fee masodꞌaꞌ neu nggi.
11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was signifying, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
Basa dei fo Lamatuaꞌ soꞌu nananaru E. Naeni de mana ola-olaꞌ naa ra rae rahine fai hiraꞌ fo dalaꞌ ia ra dadꞌi.
12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who proclaimed good news to you), by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, to which things messengers desire to look into intently.
Boe ma, Kristus Dula-dalen nafadꞌe neu mana ola-olan naa ra nae, ara nda rita sa, te hei mana mita dalaꞌ ia ra. De ia na hei o bisa rena soꞌal dalaꞌ ia ra, huu Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dale Meumaren mia sorga haitua atahori laen fo reu rafadꞌe Lamatuaꞌ Hara-lii Malolen neu nggi. Tao-tao te, Lamatuaꞌ ate nara sia sorga o nau rita dalaꞌ ia ra boe.
13 For this reason, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly on the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Minea malolole fo ama dudꞌuꞌa no ndoos. Mihehere fo mimihere mikindoo neu Yesus Kristus losa Ana baliꞌ nema. Huu leleꞌ naa, Lamatuaꞌ nau natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi.
14 as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
Ama musi rena neu Lamatualain, onaꞌ ana-anaꞌ ra rena neu ina-ama nara. Feꞌesaꞌan, hei nda feꞌe mihine Lamatuaꞌ dala masodꞌa ndoo-tetun sa. Te ia na mihine ena. De afiꞌ misodꞌa tungga dudꞌuꞌa deꞌulakaꞌ mara fai. Te naa hei dala masodꞌa mbara ma.
15 but according as He who called you [is] holy, you also, become holy in all behavior,
Huu Lamatuaꞌ Meumareꞌ. Ana mana noꞌe nala nggi fo dadꞌi Eni anan. Huu naa, basa dala masodꞌa mara musi meumareꞌ.
16 because it has been written: “Become holy, because I am holy”;
Te nenesuraꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ Susura Meumaren nae, “Hei musi meumareꞌ, huu Au meumareꞌ.”
17 and if you call on the Father, who is judging without favoritism according to the work of each, pass the time of your sojourn in fear,
Hei hiiꞌ a ola-olaꞌ mo Lamatualain onaꞌ Eni, hei Amam. Huu Ana naꞌetuꞌ atahori dedꞌean no matetuꞌ, nda soko seseriꞌ sa. Naa de ama musi misodꞌa besa-bꞌesa.
18 having known that, not with corruptible things—silver or gold—were you redeemed from your foolish behavior inherited from our forefathers,
Hei bubꞌuluꞌ mae, Kristus bae etu ena de tefa-soi nala nggi mia masodꞌa mara nda mana naꞌena huu-pataꞌ sa. Hei simbo mala masodꞌaꞌ mataꞌ naa, mia bei-baꞌi mara, onaꞌ suꞌi pusaka sa. Te misinedꞌa, Kristus nda bae nala nggi nendiꞌ lilo do doi fulaꞌ fo mana mopoꞌ sa.
19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted—Christ’s—
Te Ana bae nala nggi nendiꞌ raan. Naa, felin manaseliꞌ! Ana mate onaꞌ bibꞌi lombo anaꞌ nda mana tao salaꞌ sa, fo ara hala tao dadꞌi tutunu-hohotuꞌ.
20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and revealed in the last times because of you,
Ia, dei de, Ana natudꞌu Kristus, fo dadꞌi papala-babꞌanggiꞌ soaꞌ neu nggi.
21 who through Him believe in God who raised [Him] out of the dead, and gave glory to Him, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
Huu Kristus tao taꞌo naa, naa de hei bisa mimihere neu Lamatualain. Huu Ana tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ Kristus, ma soꞌu nanaru E. Lamatualain tao taꞌo naa, fo ama mimihere neu E, ma mimihena fo Ana tao tungga saa fo Ana helu-fuli memaꞌ a ena.
22 Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unhypocritical brotherly love, love one another earnestly out of a pure heart,
Hei tao tungga saa fo matetuꞌ a. Dadꞌi ia naa ama bisa ue-tao no manggate fee neu Lamatuaꞌ. Naa tao nggi sue matetuꞌ neu toronoo atahori mamahereꞌ ra. Hei susuem naa musi bau manggateeꞌ, huu rala mara meumareꞌ.
23 being begotten again, not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through a word of God—living and remaining—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
Ia na, hei hambu masodꞌa feuꞌ ena. Te masodꞌa feuꞌ ia, hei nda hambu mia ina-ama mara fo dei fo mana mate sia raefafoꞌ ia sa, te ama hambu mia hita Aman mana sia sorga fo nda mana mateꞌ a sa. Hei masodꞌa feum ia, hei hambu tungga Lamatuaꞌ Hara-liin.
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; the grass withered, and the flower of it fell away,
Huu Lamatuaꞌ Susura Meumaren suraꞌ nae, “Atahori, onaꞌ uru, do, bunaꞌ esa. Huu lole nara, nda raꞌatataaꞌ doꞌ sa. Uru a, male. Bunaꞌ o, ou hendi boe. Doo-doo ma ara mate, ma sambu-lalo hendi se.
25 but the saying of the LORD remains—throughout the age; and this is the saying of good news that was proclaimed to you.
Naa, Lamatuaꞌ Hara-liin, naeni, Hara-lii Maloleꞌ fo hai mifadꞌe neu nggi ena. (aiōn g165)
