< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God the Father, by [the] sanctification of the Spirit, to [the] obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you!

Erah raangtaan ih, amadoh sen loong ah phate chamnaang thoidoh pootsiit thungthet theng ang ah bah uh tenroon ih tong an.
7 so that the proof of your faith—much more precious than gold that is perishing, and being approved through fire—may be found to [result in] praise, and honor, and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Erah chamnaang lan abah sen tuumaang ah thaangmuh tah angka ngeh ih jatthuk suh angla. Kom, thet jaat ah botse we ni thaaksook ha; an tuumaang, kom nang ih thaangchaan ah uh ejen naan esuh thaak phate jaatjaat ih ho. Eno juuba Jisu Kristo kaat Rangwuuja phoongpha, rangka nyia choomjoot ah choh an.

10 concerning which salvation [the] prophets sought out and searched out, who prophesied concerning the grace toward you,

11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was signifying, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,

12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who proclaimed good news to you), by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, to which things messengers desire to look into intently.
Rangte ih khowah loong suh neng mootkaat pakna ah neng raangtaan tah angka ngeh ih dongjat thuk rumta, enoothong erah sen raangtaan, rangmong dowa Esa chiiala chaan aphaan nawa ih Ruurang Ese tiit baattaante loong asuh erah banbaat rumta ah baat halan. Erah loong tiit ah rangsah loong botseh jat esuh nookla.
13 For this reason, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly on the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Erah raangtaan ih, erah reeraang suh senthung sentak nah banthun roh ih an. Jisu Kristo dongha doh sen suh kottheng romseetam ah raangtaan ih ban laalom an.

15 but according as He who called you [is] holy, you also, become holy in all behavior,

16 because it has been written: “Become holy, because I am holy”;
Rangteele ni liiha, “Esa ang an tiimnge liidi ngah esa.”
17 and if you call on the Father, who is judging without favoritism according to the work of each, pass the time of your sojourn in fear,
Sen ih Rangte rangsoom andi, Ewah li han, heh ih, mina loongtang neng reeraangla jun ih phoosiitsiit ih dande ha; erah raangtaan ih, sen loong ah arah hah adoh tong pootdoh heh men ah samthun roh ih anno songtong an.

20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and revealed in the last times because of you,

21 who through Him believe in God who raised [Him] out of the dead, and gave glory to Him, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
Sen ih Rangte ah heh jun ih hanpi han, marah heh ih tek nawa ngaaksaat thuk ano heh men rangka ha; erah raangtaan ih sen loong ah Rangte suh tuumaang lan nyia laalom lan.
22 Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unhypocritical brotherly love, love one another earnestly out of a pure heart,
Erah thoidi amadi amiisak tiit jeng ah boichaat anno sen teenuh teewah saachamcham anglan eno hanpiite sen loong jaachi ni minchanmui elan, wasiit ih wasiit senten senmong nawa ih minchanmui lan.
23 being begotten again, not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through a word of God—living and remaining—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
Tiimnge liidi ething nyia mabah uh lathoonka Rangte jengkhaap jun ih we doptup halan, sen wah etekjaat jun ih lah angthang ih latekjaat jun ih ah. (aiōn g165)
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; the grass withered, and the flower of it fell away,
Rangteele ni amah liiha’ Mina loongtang naam likhiik, eno neng rangka ah woma popong likhiik. Naam ah ehook ela, adoleh popong ah emut ela,
25 but the saying of the LORD remains—throughout the age; and this is the saying of good news that was proclaimed to you. (aiōn g165)
enoothong Teesu jengkhaap ah saarookwet raangtaan ih tong ah.” Arah jengkhaap ah sen suh baat tahan Ruurang Ese tiit ah. (aiōn g165)
