< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Petorosi, mwapositola wa Jesu Kirisite, kuva yedi ve nako, vava kwetwa, mukati kose ka Potiasi, Magalatia, Cappadocia, Asia, ni Bathiania.
2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God the Father, by [the] sanctification of the Spirit, to [the] obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you!
3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness begot us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
Ke Ireenza ni Esi wa Jesu Krisite a fulyolwe. Muvukando bwe chishemo chakwe, cha tuha ku zwala cihya ke sepo yo kuyola. Ichi chiyolo chi keza kezila yo kuvuka kwa Jesu Krisite kuva fwile.
4 to an incorruptible inheritance, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved for you in the heavens,
Kono ichi ciyolo chisa maani, kese chive ni vuvi, kete ni chi mane. chivi kilwe inwe kwiwulu.
5 who, in the power of God are being guarded, through faith, to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time,
Mu silelezitwe cha maata a Ireenza che tumero, cho kuhazwa kulivelelwe kuvoneka kumani mani enako.
6 in which you are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in various trials,
Mi usangite kuamana nezi, ni kuvavulyo kuswanela kuti nova lizuwi vuvi mu bukabo vushutana shutana.
7 so that the proof of your faith—much more precious than gold that is perishing, and being approved through fire—may be found to [result in] praise, and honor, and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Uko kulika itumelo yenu, mi kwina vutokwa ahulu kuhita gaunda isinyeha, ni hailikwa mumulilo. Izi zitendehala kuti itumelo iwanike mwi tumbo, ikanya, ni kute kuku bonahaza Jesus Christe.
8 whom, having not seen, you love, in whom, now believing [although] not seeing, you are glad with unspeakable joy and have been filled with glory,
Kena muvamuvoni, kono mumusaka. Kamumu voni hanu, kono muzumina kwali ni mutavite ni tavo isawambiwa, inkanya ye tavo.
9 receiving the outcome of the faith—salvation of your souls;
Kono hanu mutambula kwenu bulyo mupuzo we tumelo yenu, kuhazwa kwo luhuwo lwenu.
10 concerning which salvation [the] prophets sought out and searched out, who prophesied concerning the grace toward you,
Vafolofita vava sakisisi ni kwiza ahulu kuamana zo kuhazwa, kuamaana ni chisemo chese chibe cenu.
11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was signifying, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
Chiva sakisisa kwi ziva uzo ni lili ni Luhuwo lwa Krisite haluvali kuwamba kuvali. Inzi ziva pangahali ziva wambirwa havusu kuamaana ni kunyadiswa kwa Christe zitu ze kanya kuzwa aho.
12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who proclaimed good news to you), by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, to which things messengers desire to look into intently.
Zive zinveki kuva vopolofita kuti hati vavali kulitusa avo vene, kono enwe. Ichi chi vavali kutenda kuamaana ni zitu zi muva wambilwi kamukwa wo Luhuwo Lujolola, uvatumwa kuzwa kwi wulu. Izi zitu nanga magiloyi alakazwa kuvoniswa.
13 For this reason, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly on the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Cwale mutende muzezo yenu hande. Musiye kukolwa. Muvike isepo yose muchisemo chileta kwi ziveka kwa Jesu Krisite.
14 as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
Ha tuli tuvana ve chilila, musiye ku swana itakazo nezina zimuvali kwichilile ni musezi niti.
15 but according as He who called you [is] holy, you also, become holy in all behavior,
Kono iye avamisupi u jolola, inwe, nanwe, mujolole mumaikuto enu wonse.
16 because it has been written: “Become holy, because I am holy”;
Kakuli kuñoletwe, “Mu jolole, kakuli ime ni jolola.”
17 and if you call on the Father, who is judging without favoritism according to the work of each, pass the time of your sojourn in fear,
Mi hamusupa “Ishetu” iye yenke uyatula zwimwi ni ku sena isovozi kuamana ni mutendo wo mutu, muhinde inako mumusipili ni sabo.
18 having known that, not with corruptible things—silver or gold—were you redeemed from your foolish behavior inherited from our forefathers,
Mwizi kuti hati kavali ke silivera ni gauda efwa iva muhanzi kuvu holo ye mimitedo imuva lituti kuve ishenu.
19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted—Christ’s—
Hakuli vulyo, u va hazwa ni malaha avutokwa a Krisite, avali kuswana ni imbelele isena chivata.
20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and revealed in the last times because of you,
Krisite ava saliwa pili ni misumo ye kanda, kono hanu chali zivahalisa kwenu mwinako ya manimani.
21 who through Him believe in God who raised [Him] out of the dead, and gave glory to Him, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
Chakwe muzumina kwe Ireenza, ava muvusi kuvafu mi kuvamwi chavaha ikanya kuti itumero yavo ni sepo ive kwe Ireenza.
22 Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unhypocritical brotherly love, love one another earnestly out of a pure heart,
Muvatendi luhuwo lwenu kujolola choku zumina kwi niti. Ichi chivalikutenda mulelo wo vulikani mwi rato, cwale mulisake ahulu mwi kulo.
23 being begotten again, not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through a word of God—living and remaining—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
Linu mu vanzalwa chihya, isini ketanga ivola, kono che tanga isavoli, muvuhalo ni lizwi lye Ireenza likalilila. (aiōn g165)
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; the grass withered, and the flower of it fell away,
Ke “nyama yonse iswana sina lyani, ni ikanya yateni yonse iswana nipalisa ya lyani. Lyani lizuma, ni palisa ziwila hasi,
25 but the saying of the LORD remains—throughout the age; and this is the saying of good news that was proclaimed to you. (aiōn g165)
Kono lizwi ye Ireenza likalilila kuya kwile. “Ichi makande malotu ave zibiswa kwenu. (aiōn g165)
