< 1 Peter 5 >

1 Elders who [are] among you, I exhort [you], [as] a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of the Christ, and a partaker of the glory about to be revealed,
Aa le osiheko o mpiaolo fivory ama’ areoo, amy maham-piaolo ahy naho valolombeloñ’ amy nijalea’ i Norizañey vaho mpitraok’ amy engeñe haboakey:
2 feed the flock of God that [is] among you, overseeing not by compulsion, but willingly, neither for shameful gain, but eagerly,
ampiandrazo i lia-rain’ Añahare ama’ areoy; sario—tsy aman-jizy, fa an-dozoke sitran’ Añahare; tsy ipaiam-bokañe, fa an-kahimbañañe;
3 neither as exercising lordship over the heritages, but becoming patterns for the flock,
tsy sengean-kery o nampifeheañe anahareoo, fe ano ze hitsikombea’ i lia-raikey.
4 and the Chief Shepherd having appeared, you will receive the unfading garland of glory.
Le ie miboake i Talèm-piarakey, le ho rambese’ areo i sabakan-engeñe tsy hikò-mavoy.
5 In like manner, you young [ones], be subject to elders, and all subjecting yourselves to one another; clothe yourselves with humble-mindedness, because God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble;
O ry ajalahio, manahake izay, miandalia amo mpiaoloo, naho songa mifampiambanea, vaho aombeo ty hatrentram-po; amy te: Zeharen’ Añahare o mpirengeo fe atariha’e o mpirèkeo.
6 be humbled, then, under the powerful hand of God, that He may exalt you in good time,
Mitaketraha arè ambanem-pitàn’ Añahare maozatse, fa honjone’e ami’ty andro mañèva.
7 having cast all your care on Him, because He cares for you.
Afetsaho ama’e iaby ze fihakahakà’ areo, fa hiferenaiña’e.
8 Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the Devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may swallow up,
Miliera vatañe le mahimbaña, fa mitingatinga mbaombao hoe liona mireñetse i rafelahi’ areoy, i mpañìnjey, mipay ty havorembòre’e.
9 whom you must resist, steadfast in the faith, having known the same sufferings of your brotherhood to be accomplished in the world.
Kalaño am-patokisañe migahiñe, fohiñe te songa ampisoañeñe hoe izay ka o longo’ areo an-tane atoio.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to His perpetual glory in Christ Jesus, having suffered a little, Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle [you]; (aiōnios g166)
Ie fa nalovilovy betebete nahareo, le i Andrianañahare’ o hene hasoaoy, i nikanjy anahareo ho amy enge’e tsy modo amy Norizañey aoiy, ro hañeneke naho hamente naho hampaozatse, vaho hampijadoñe anahareo. (aiōnios g166)
11 to Him [is] the glory and the power through the ages and the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
Aze ty fifeheañe nainai’e donia. Amena. (aiōn g165)
12 Through Silvanus, the faithful brother as I reckon, I wrote through few [words] to you, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you have stood.
I Silasy, rahalahy migahiñe amako, ty nisokirako boriborike zao, ho fañosihañe, naho fitaroñañe te izay ty toe hasoan’ Añahare ijohaña’ areo.
13 She in Babylon chosen with you greets you, and my son Marcus.
Mañontane anahareo o e Babilona nitrao-pijoboñañe ama’ areoo, naho i Marka, anako.
14 Greet one another in a kiss of love. Peace to you all who [are] in Christ Jesus! Amen.
Mifanalamà añ’ondrom-pikokoañe. Fañanintsiñe ama’ areo iaby amy Norizañey.
