< 1 Peter 4 >

1 Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who suffered in the flesh has finished [with] sin,
Lino, ulwakuva u Kilisite alyapumusivue kim'bili, najumue mugudaghe muvufumbue vuno alyale navwo umwene. Juno ikuguda vwimila imhumuko isa pa iisi apa, asilekile inyivi.
2 no longer in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;
Unsiki ghwinu ghuno ghusighile kukukala pa iisi apa, mulekaghe kuvingilila uvunoghelua vwa mu iisi, looli muvingililaghe isavughane vwa Nguluve.
3 for the time has sufficiently passed to have carried out the will of the nations, having walked in licentiousness, lusts, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,
Ulwakuva unsiki ghuno ghukilile ghukwilile kuvomba sino vilonda pivomba avapanji— uvuvwafu, uvunoghelua vwa m'bili, uvughaasi, kuva nifikulukulu ifya kipanji ifyakulia na kunywaa kyongo nakukwimika ifihwani.
4 in which they think it strange—your not running with them to the same excess of wastefulness, slandering [you]—
Avapanji vikuvadegha vule vivono lino namuva palikimo navene kuvomba isio palikimo na Vene, muulio vikuvaligha.
5 who will give an account to Him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead,
Mu uluo, vilikujoleka kwajuno iling'hanisie kuuti ka vumi na vafue.
6 for this also was good news proclaimed to dead men, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, but may live according to God in the Spirit.
Mu uluo, fyenambe imola inofu jikapulisivue na kuvafue, kuuti nambe valyahighilue kufua kim'bili, mungufu isa Mhepo Mwimike, vwumi ndavule alivuo uNguluve.
7 Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers.
Uvusililo vwa finu fyoni vuli pipi pikwisa. Mu uluo, mulolelelaghe nakuva Mason kange mufunyaghe ndavule lunoghile.
8 Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;
Ikivaha tasi kusoni, mughimbaghe kughanana nu mwoojo ghuoni ulwakuva ulughano nalulonda kufwikula uvuhosi vwa
9 [be] hospitable to one another, without murmuring;
vaange. Muvisaghe vakola nujunge nu mwoojo umbalafu.
10 each [one], according as he received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;
U Nguluve avapelile nujunge kipelua kyake, liino nujunge avombelaghe ikipelua ikio nulwakuvatanga avaange, mu uluo muva valoleli vanofu vafipelua ifio fino fili pa pinga.
11 if anyone speaks, [speak] as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, [minister] as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
U munhu juno ipulisia, amasio ghake ghavisaghe ndavule agha Nguluve, ghwope juno itanga avanhu, avatangaghe mungufu sino apelilua nu Nguluve, kuuti u Nguluve aghinisivuaghe mu soon vwimila u Yesu Kilisite. Uvuvaha ni ngufu fili nu mwenemwene fighono fyoni. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Beloved, do not think it strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,
Vaghanike vaango, ingelo sino sikwisa kukuvaghela namungavalighaghe hwene kinu kighesi, kwekuuti ikiinu ikighesi kino kyahumilagha kulyumue.
13 but according as you have fellowship with the sufferings of the Christ, rejoice, that you may also rejoice in the revelation of His glory—exulting;
Looli muhovokaghe ulwakuva muanyana kupumuka ndavule aliyah pumuike uKilisite, mu uluo muliva nulukelo uluvaha fijo, alava ivoneka nuvuvaha vwake.
14 if you are reproached in the Name of Christ—[you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you; in regard, indeed, to them, is evil spoken of Him, and in regard to you, He is glorified;
Nave mulighilue vwimila kukum'bingilila u Kilisite, mufunyilue, ulwa Mhepo Mwimike ughwa Nguluve juno amemile kulyumue.
15 for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as a meddler into other men’s matters;
Looli napeangavisaghe umunhu ghweni juno ipumusivua mulwakuva m'budi, mhiiji, nyamabatu, nambenambe kukwingilila imbombo isa vaange.
16 and if as a Christian, do not let him be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this respect;
Neke nave umunhu ipumusivua ulwakuva N'kilisite, nangavonaghe soni, looli mulitavua ilio amuginiaghe uNguluve.
17 because it is the time of the judgment to have begun from the house of God, and if first from us, what [is] the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?
Ulwakuva unsiki ughwa vuhighi ghufikile kutengulila munyumba ija Nguluve. nave uvuhighi vutengula tasia kulyusue, pe kuvona navikwitika imola inofu luva ndani?
18 And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear?
Kange nave “Umunhu umugholofu ipokua kukila inalamu, pe luliva ndani kwa munhu juno naikwitika kange muhosi?”
19 So that those also suffering according to the will of God, as to a steadfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in doing good.
Lino, voni vano vipumuka vwimila kuvomba is vughane vwa Nguluve, vaghendelelaghe kuvomba inofu, vivike mu vuloleleli vwa mpeli ghwave unnufu.
