1 Peter 4

1 Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who suffered in the flesh has finished [with] sin,

อสฺมากํ วินิมเยน ขฺรีษฺฏ: ศรีรสมฺพนฺเธ ทณฺฑํ ภุกฺตวานฺ อโต เหโต: ศรีรสมฺพนฺเธ โย ทณฺฑํ ภุกฺตวานฺ ส ปาปาตฺ มุกฺต

2 no longer in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;

อิติภาเวน ยูยมปิ สุสชฺชีภูย เทหวาสสฺยาวศิษฺฏํ สมยํ ปุนรฺมานวานามฺ อิจฺฉาสาธนารฺถํ นหิ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรเสฺยจฺฉาสาธนารฺถํ ยาปยตฯ

3 for the time has sufficiently passed to have carried out the will of the nations, having walked in licentiousness, lusts, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,

อายุโษ ย: สมโย วฺยตีตสฺตสฺมินฺ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺยทฺ เทวปูชกานามฺ อิจฺฉาสาธนํ กามกุตฺสิตาภิลาษมทฺยปานรงฺครสมตฺตตาฆฺฤณารฺหเทวปูชาจรณญฺจาการิ เตน พาหุลฺยํฯ

4 in which they think it strange—your not running with them to the same excess of wastefulness, slandering [you]—

ยูยํ ไต: สห ตสฺมินฺ สรฺวฺวนาศปงฺเก มชฺชิตุํ น ธาวถ, อิตฺยเนนาศฺจรฺยฺยํ วิชฺญาย เต ยุษฺมานฺ นินฺทนฺติฯ

5 who will give an account to Him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead,

กินฺตุ โย ชีวตำ มฺฤตานาญฺจ วิจารํ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อุทฺยโต'สฺติ ตไสฺม ไตรุตฺตรํ ทายิษฺยเตฯ

6 for this also was good news proclaimed to dead men, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, but may live according to God in the Spirit.

ยโต เหโต เรฺย มฺฤตาเสฺตษำ ยตฺ มานโวทฺเทศฺย: ศารีริกวิจาร: กินฺตฺวีศฺวโรทฺเทศฺยมฺ อาตฺมิกชีวนํ ภวตฺ ตทรฺถํ เตษามปิ สนฺนิเธา สุสมาจาร: ปฺรกาศิโต'ภวตฺฯ

7 Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers.

สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อนฺติมกาล อุปสฺถิตสฺตสฺมาทฺ ยูยํ สุพุทฺธย: ปฺรารฺถนารฺถํ ชาคฺรตศฺจ ภวตฯ

8 Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;

วิเศษต: ปรสฺปรํ คาฒํ เปฺรม กุรุต, ยต: , ปาปานามปิ พาหุลฺยํ เปฺรมฺไนวาจฺฉาทยิษฺยเตฯ

9 [be] hospitable to one another, without murmuring;

กาตโรกฺตึ วินา ปรสฺปรมฺ อาติถฺยํ กฺฤรุตฯ

10 each [one], according as he received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;

เยน โย วโร ลพฺธเสฺตไนว ส ปรมฺ อุปกโรตฺฤ, อิตฺถํ ยูยมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย พหุวิธปฺรสาทโสฺยตฺตมา ภาณฺฑาคาราธิปา ภวตฯ

11 if anyone speaks, [speak] as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, [minister] as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)

โย วากฺยํ กถยติ ส อีศฺวรสฺย วากฺยมิว กถยตุ ยศฺจ ปรมฺ อุปกโรติ ส อีศฺวรทตฺตสามรฺถฺยาทิโวปกโรตุฯ สรฺวฺววิษเย ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏเนศฺวรสฺย เคารวํ ปฺรกาศฺยตำ ตไสฺยว เคารวํ ปรากฺรมศฺจ สรฺวฺวทา ภูยาตฺฯ อาเมนฯ (aiōn g165)

12 Beloved, do not think it strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,

เห ปฺริยตมา: , ยุษฺมากํ ปรีกฺษารฺถํ ยสฺตาโป ยุษฺมาสุ วรฺตฺตเต ตมฺ อสมฺภวฆฏิตํ มตฺวา นาศฺจรฺยฺยํ ชานีต,

13 but according as you have fellowship with the sufferings of the Christ, rejoice, that you may also rejoice in the revelation of His glory—exulting;

กินฺตุ ขฺรีษฺเฏน เกฺลศานำ สหภาคิตฺวาทฺ อานนฺทต เตน ตสฺย ปฺรตาปปฺรกาเศ'ปฺยานนนฺเทน ปฺรผุลฺลา ภวิษฺยถฯ

14 if you are reproached in the Name of Christ—[you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you; in regard, indeed, to them, is evil spoken of Him, and in regard to you, He is glorified;

ยทิ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย นามเหตุนา ยุษฺมากํ นินฺทา ภวติ ตรฺหิ ยูยํ ธนฺยา ยโต เคารวทายก อีศฺวรสฺยาตฺมา ยุษฺมาสฺวธิติษฺฐติ เตษำ มเธฺย ส นินฺทฺยเต กินฺตุ ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย ปฺรศํสฺยเตฯ

15 for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as a meddler into other men’s matters;

กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากํ โก'ปิ หนฺตา วา ไจโร วา ทุษฺกรฺมฺมกฺฤทฺ วา ปราธิการจรฺจฺจก อิว ทณฺฑํ น ภุงฺกฺตำฯ

16 and if as a Christian, do not let him be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this respect;

ยทิ จ ขฺรีษฺฏียาน อิว ทณฺฑํ ภุงฺกฺเต ตรฺหิ ส น ลชฺชมานสฺตตฺการณาทฺ อีศฺวรํ ปฺรศํสตุฯ

17 because it is the time of the judgment to have begun from the house of God, and if first from us, what [is] the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?

ยโต วิจารสฺยารมฺภสมเย อีศฺวรสฺย มนฺทิเร ยุชฺยเต ยทิ จาสฺมตฺสฺวารภเต ตรฺหีศฺวรียสุสํวาทาคฺราหิณำ เศษทศา กา ภวิษฺยติ?

18 And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear?

ธารฺมฺมิเกนาปิ เจตฺ ตฺราณมฺ อติกฺฤจฺเฉฺรณ คมฺยเตฯ ตรฺหฺยธารฺมฺมิกปาปิภฺยามฺ อาศฺรย: กุตฺร ลปฺสฺยเตฯ

19 So that those also suffering according to the will of God, as to a steadfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in doing good.

อต อีศฺวเรจฺฉาโต เย ทุ: ขํ ภุญฺชเต เต สทาจาเรณ สฺวาตฺมาโน วิศฺวาสฺยสฺรษฺฏุรีศฺวสฺย กราภฺยำ นิทธตำฯ
