< 1 Peter 4 >

1 Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who suffered in the flesh has finished [with] sin,
Krstos b́meetson gond bek'o b́ datstsosh itwere kes'i taho taahadek'ts ashok'o hasabiyanats k'up'ar k'ande'ere, b́meetson gond bek'o dek'ts asho morro fino need'ik'rere.
2 no longer in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;
Haniyakon eshe oorts datsatsi it beyon meetsi gond tewno s'eentson b́ woterawo Ik'i shuntsok'on beewere.
3 for the time has sufficiently passed to have carried out the will of the nations, having walked in licentiousness, lusts, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,
Ik' ash woterawwots bo k'alfok'o shiraatse jintsi woton, gusiyon, máshon, werali gáálon, weralo úyide'er duubonat wic'ik wotts dozets ik'uwotsi ik'iyon it beshits dúro bodfe.
4 in which they think it strange—your not running with them to the same excess of wastefulness, slandering [you]—
Andomó keewann weralo bonton ik woton beshiyo it k'aztsosh bo adiri, bo c'ashiri.
5 who will give an account to Him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead,
Ernmó kashon fa'úwotsnat k'irtswotsats angshosh k'andek'tso shinatse aatetúne.
6 for this also was good news proclaimed to dead men, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, but may live according to God in the Spirit.
Eshé hank'on boowere ash jamikok'o bomeetson bok'iritwok'o boats angshere, ernmó boshayron Ik'ok'o beyar beetwotsi wotar bobetwok'o doo shishiyo k'irtswotssh nabere.
7 Now the end of all things has come near; be sober-minded, then, and be sober in [your] prayers.
Eshe jam keewi s'uwo bodre, kup'arr Ik' k'ono it falitwok'o mangdek'ts nibo deshere, it angok'owere beewere,
8 Before all things, having earnest love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;
Shuno morri ayo b́ aatsitwotse jamoniyere bogo it ats atseyo kúp'shde'er shunewere.
9 [be] hospitable to one another, without murmuring;
Múmúderaniyere it ats atseyon ibo ibiwere.
10 each [one], according as he received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;
K'osh k'osh naari Ik'i s'aatwotsi sheengsh k'eezfetsr ititse ik iko bísh imets s'aaton k'oshosh finowe.
11 if anyone speaks, [speak] as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, [minister] as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Danirwo Ik' aap'o b́ danirwok'on daniwe, finirwonu Ik'o bísh b́ imet angon finowe, hank'on Ik'o Iyesus Krstos weeron jam keewon mangitwe, mangonat angon dúre dúrosh bísh wotowe, amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Beloved, do not think it strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,
T mashotso! tawok'o fadit gond bek'otse it daatsewo daneraw ib wotts keewo itats b́ bodtsok'o woshde'er adk'ayere,
13 but according as you have fellowship with the sufferings of the Christ, rejoice, that you may also rejoice in the revelation of His glory—exulting;
Maniyere dab Krstos mangon b́ be'ewor ayde'er it geneútiwok'o b́ gond bek'otse kaydek'tswotsi it wottsok'o gene'owere.
14 if you are reproached in the Name of Christ—[you are] blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you; in regard, indeed, to them, is evil spoken of Him, and in regard to you, He is glorified;
Krstos shúútsi jangosh it c'asheyal mang wotts Shayiro etonwere Ik' Shayiro itats b́ oot'etwotse derek itne.
15 for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as a meddler into other men’s matters;
Ititsere konworu gondo b́ bek'or kash úd'tsok'o, úmp'etsok'o, gond fintsok'o, ash keewots s'eegerawo kindirwok'o wotk'aye.
16 and if as a Christian, do not let him be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this respect;
Krstiyani b́ wottsatse tuutson gondbek'o bíyats bodetwonmó krstiyaniyat b́ s'egetsosh Ik'o mangiwa bako jitsk'aye.
17 because it is the time of the judgment to have begun from the house of God, and if first from us, what [is] the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?
Man eegoshe? Angsho b́ tuwit aawo bodre, angshonú b́tuwit Ik' ashuwotsatsne, eshe angsho b́ tuwit noyitsna wotiyal Ik' doo shishiyosh aleraw ashuwots bo s'uwo aawk'owe b́ wotitik'úna?
18 And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear?
S'ayin mas'aafotse b́ etirwok'o, «Kááwonúwor dab kasho b́ falit k'ic'ona wotiyal Ik' Ik'irawotsnat morrets ashuwots aawk'owe bowotiti?»
19 So that those also suffering according to the will of God, as to a steadfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in doing good.
Mansh Ik' shunok'on gond bek'iru ashuwots bokeew jamo azts amanetsosh adaro imr sheeng keewo k'alosh shuutsan etk'ayne.
