< 1 Peter 2 >

1 Having put aside, then, all evil, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil speakings,
Bara nani ceon adadu ananzan likot vat, urusuzu liti, nshina nin liru uhem.
2 as newborn babies, desire the reasonable, unspoiled milk, so that you may grow up to salvation,
Nafo nono nipesse, idi ntok mmazin milau min ruhu, inan kunjo nan nya utucu minin,
3 if [it] so be [that] you tasted that the LORD [is] good,
andi ina ciro ise cikilarie di nin kibinai kisheu.
4 to whom coming—a living stone—having indeed been disapproved of by men, but with God—choice [and] precious,
Dan kiti nlenge na amere litala nlai longo na anite na nari, ama Kutelle na fere linin nloli di ghe gongong.
5 and you yourselves are built up as living stones [into] a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Anung wang masin nafo alala nlaiyari alenge na ina kye iso nilari nruhu, inan so a pristoci alau na ima nakpizu uhadaya nruhu ulenge na Kutelle ma seru unuzun Yesu Kristi.
6 For this reason, also, it is contained in the Writing: “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, choice, precious, and he who is believing on Him may not be put to shame”;
Uliru ntuce nworo nenge, “lanzang nna nonko nsihiyona litala liguda kutyi, lin cizunu, licine a licaut. Ulenge na a yinna ninghe na aina ti ncing ba”.
7 to you, then, who are believing—the preciousness; but to the unbelieving, [the] stone that the builders disapproved of—this One has become the head of [the] corner,
Ngongonghe min fere na uyinna ama, “litala na anan kye kutiye wa nari, linnare nso litala liguea kutiye”
8 and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense—who are stumbling at the word, being unbelieving—to which they were also set.
a litala ntirzu a kuparang ntirizu” I tirzo, inari uyinnu nin lirue, ulenge na imung wang iwa fere nani mun.
9 But you [are] a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that you may show forth the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light,
Anung imus nferuwari, a pirist tigo, nmyin milau, annit Kutelle an litime, inan belle katwa kazikiki nlenge na ana yicila minu unuzu nan nya nsirt ucindu nan nya nkanang mi zikiki.
10 who [were] once not a people, but [are] now the people of God; who had not found mercy, but now have found mercy.
Na iwa mandi anit ba, ana nene idi anit Kutelle. Na iwa seru nkunekune ba, ama nene ina seru nkunekune.
11 Beloved, I call on [you], as strangers and sojourners, to keep from the fleshly desires that war against the soul,
Yenen, nna yicila minu nafo amara nin na nan galu inan wantina atimine ntok nalapi, alenge na adin su likum nin tilai mine.
12 having your behavior right among the nations, so that whenever they speak against you as evildoers, seeing [your] good works, they may glorify God in [the] day of inspection.
Yitan nin nadu a cine nan a cine nan nya na nan salin dortu Kutelle, bara, asa isu uliru na timine nworu ina su imon inanzang, ima su seng izazin Kutelle lirin nsa me.
13 Be subject, then, to every human creation, because of the LORD, whether to a king, as the highest,
Nonkon ati nin tigo nanit vat bara likilari, sa ugo na amere udya vat,
14 whether to governors, as to those sent through him, for punishment, indeed, of evildoers, and a praise of those doing good;
sa anan tigo na ina tu nani ida ti anan nalapi ineo inin zazin alenge na idin sa katwa kacine.
15 because, so is the will of God, doing good, to put to silence the ignorance of the foolish men—
Bara nanere usu Kutelle, nan nya nsu nimon icine itursu uliru tinu nanit alalang.
16 as free, and not having freedom as the cloak of evil, but as servants of God;
Nafo ale na idi licin ba, na iwa su katwa nin salin yitulicin mine imon tursuzu katwa ka nanzang, ana son nafo acin Kutelle.
17 give honor to all; love the brotherhood; fear God; honor the king.
Ghantiuan anit vat. Tan usu linuwana, tan fiue Kutelle ghantinan Ugo.
18 Servants, be subject in all fear to the masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the crooked;
Acin, nan nibinai mine kiti nan cinilari mine nan nyan nonku nati, na kiti nan cinilari acine cas ba, umunu a nanazanghe wang.
19 for this [is] grace: if anyone endures sorrows because of conscience toward God, suffering unrighteously;
Bara imon ngongonghari asa umong ntere kibinai nan nyan konu a ayita nniu asa i waso uliru na dert ba bara uni litime kiti Kutelle.
20 for what renown [is it], if sinning and being battered, you endure [it]? But if, doing good and suffering [for it], you endure, this [is] grace with God,
Mmari mi mashinari diku uwa ti kulapi unin ti anyi akona kubi nhoro? Ama asa uta imon icine umin nneo kubin horo, ilele imon ngongonghari kiti Kutelle.
21 for to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving to you an example, that you may follow His steps,
Kiti nilelere iwa yicila minu, Kristi wang na sono unin bara anughe, amini na sun udursuzu nworu among dofin libo me
22 who did not commit sin, nor was guile found in His mouth,
Na an ti kulapi ba; a na ina se kinu nnu me ba.
23 who being reviled—was not reviling again, suffering—was not threatening, and was committing Himself to Him who is judging righteously,
Na iwa zogoghe, na awa tunu izoge ba, na awa neo, na nan tunu uniwe ba, ama ana ni litime kiti nlenge na adin su ushara dert.
24 who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree that having died to sins, we may live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed;
Ame litime na yaun alapi bite kidowo me udu kitene kuca, bara arik wa kuru ti se ndinong kulapi, arik nan se tiso anan sali na lapi. Bara anit kidowo me ina se ushinu tikonu mine.
25 for you were as sheep going astray, but now you turned back to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
Vat mine na galu nafo akam nwulu, ame nene ina kpilin kiti nnan libyawe nin nan yenju tilai mine.
