< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Petro, nsung'ua ghwa Yesu kilisite, kulyumue vabaghulivua, kuvasalulua, mu Pontoon joni, Galatia, Kapadokia, Asia ni Bithinia,
2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God the Father, by [the] sanctification of the Spirit, to [the] obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you!
kuhuma muvwelevua vwa Nguluve, Nhata, kuvalasivua nu Mhepo Mwimike, mulwa kumwoghopa u Yesu kiliste, na kuvalasivua vwimila idanda jaake. Uvumofu vuve numue, nu lutengano lwinu lwongelele.
3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness begot us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
U Nguluve uNhaata ghwa Mutwa ghwitu Yesu kilisite aghinuaghe. Mulusungu ulwake uluvaha, alyatuholile vupia vwimila kukunsusia u Yesu kilisite kuhuma muva vufue,
4 to an incorruptible inheritance, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved for you in the heavens,
kuuti twupile silo uNguluve alyalaghile kukuvapeela avanhu vaake avaviikile isio kukyanya kuno nasivola, nambe kunangika, nambe kusakala.
5 who, in the power of God are being guarded, through faith, to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time,
Unguluve mungufu sake, ikuvalola vunofu vwimila ulwitiko lwinu kuvupoki vuno alig'hanisie kukuvahufia unsiki ughwa vusililo.
6 in which you are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in various trials,
Muhovokaghe vwimila uluo, napanolino munoghile kusukunala vwimila ingelo sino silipapinga.
7 so that the proof of your faith—much more precious than gold that is perishing, and being approved through fire—may be found to [result in] praise, and honor, and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Uluo, ulwakuva ulwitiko lwinulwinu luve mungelo, ulwitiko luno lunoghile kukila isahabu, jino jinangika mu mwoto ghuno ghughela ulwitiko lwinu, ulu luhumile kuuti ulwitiko lwinu luuve ulunyakupaala, ulunyakughinia, muvwoghopua mukighono ikya kugomoka u Yesu kilite.
8 whom, having not seen, you love, in whom, now believing [although] not seeing, you are glad with unspeakable joy and have been filled with glory,
Umwene namumbwene, looli mumughanile. Namukumwagha lino, poope vwimila vwamwene muli nu lukeelo luno nalujoveka kulukelo luno lumemilue nu lughinio.
9 receiving the outcome of the faith—salvation of your souls;
Vwimila ulwitiko lwinu lino mukwupila jumue, uvupoki vwa mojo ghinu.
10 concerning which salvation [the] prophets sought out and searched out, who prophesied concerning the grace toward you,
Avavili vakalolesyagha fijo na vakaposelesia vakagule vule ilikuvapoka
11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was signifying, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
Ulwakuva uMhepo kilisite juno alyale mun'kate muveene, ilipumuka napambele iiva nu vuvaha. Valonda kuuti vakagule unsiki muki uMhepo wa kilisite juno alimun'kate muvanave alyale ijova keke navene. Ulu lulyahumile unsiki ghono alyale ikuvavula kuuti imumuko sa Kilisite nuvwimila vuno ngalivumbingilile.
12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who proclaimed good news to you), by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven, to which things messengers desire to look into intently.
Akavahufia avaviili kuuti imbombo jave ijakuvila najilyale vwimila aveene, loolilooli jilyale vwimila umue - imola isio musipulike kuhuma kuvaanhu vano vipulisia imola inofu mungufu isa Mhepo Mwimike Juno alyasung'hilu kuhuma kukyanya, imola isio avanyamola vinoghelua kukusikagula.
13 For this reason, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly on the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Mu uluo muling'aniaghe kuluhala lwinhu. Muvesaghe nu lujisio mumasaghe ghinu. Mukangasiaghe na kuhuvila fijo ulusungu luno mulipelua ikighono kinno iligomoka.
14 as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
Ndavule avaana avakundi, mulekaghe kulongosivua nuvunoghelua vwinu vuno mulyale navwo ye mukyale kukunkagula unguluve.
15 but according as He who called you [is] holy, you also, become holy in all behavior,
Looli, muvisaghe vimike mumikalile agha vwumi vwinu vwoni, ndavule juno avakemelile vule mwimike.
16 because it has been written: “Become holy, because I am holy”;
Ulwakuva lilembilue, “Muvesaghe vimike, ulwakuva une nilimwimike.”
17 and if you call on the Father, who is judging without favoritism according to the work of each, pass the time of your sojourn in fear,
Kange ndave mukuntambula “Nhata” juno ikuvahigha avanhu vooni mumaghendele ghave, mujisiaghe nakuvingilila muvwumi vwinu vwoni
18 having known that, not with corruptible things—silver or gold—were you redeemed from your foolish behavior inherited from our forefathers,
Mugagwile vule muvangilue kuhuma mumaghendele ghiinu ghano naghanoghile ghano mulyupile kuvakuulu viinu, nalyavavangile ni finu fino finangike ndavule indalama nambe isahabu.
19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted—Christ’s—
Looli muvangilue ni danda inalamu ija Yesu kilisite, ndavule ija ng'holo ija litekelo, isila vulema nambe lideha.
20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and revealed in the last times because of you,
Ukilisite alyasalulilue kuhuma m'bukuuku ye jikyale kupelua iisi, neke mumasiki agha aghavusililo, amuhofisie vwimila umue.
21 who through Him believe in God who raised [Him] out of the dead, and gave glory to Him, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
Mukumwitika uNguluve vwimila umwene, juno u Nguluve alyansusisie kuhuma kuvafue nakumpeela uvuvaha kuuti mumwitikaghe na kukumuhuvila u Nguluve.
22 Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unhypocritical brotherly love, love one another earnestly out of a pure heart,
Muvalisie amoojo ghiinu vwimila kukunda uvwakyang'aani, nakukuvaghana avajinu kisila vukedusi, lino muvaghanaghe nu mwoojo ghwoni.
23 being begotten again, not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through a word of God—living and remaining—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
Muholilue vupia, nakwekuti kuholua kim'bili ghuno ghufua ulwene muholilue kuuva nu vwumi uvusila kusila, mungufu isalisio lya Nguluve ilyafighono fyoni. (aiōn g165)
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; the grass withered, and the flower of it fell away,
Ulwakuva “Amavili ghooni ghalindavule ilisoli, utogo lwake lwoni lulindavule ililuva lya lisoli. ilisoli linyala, ililuva lijoghotoka nakusanguka,
25 but the saying of the LORD remains—throughout the age; and this is the saying of good news that was proclaimed to you. (aiōn g165)
looli ilisio lya Nguluve lijigha kisila kusila lusiku.” Ili lye lisio lino je mola jino jipulisivue kulyumue. (aiōn g165)
