1 Kings 8
1 Then Solomon assembles the elderly of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to King Solomon, to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH from the City of David—it [is] Zion;
१तब सुलैमान ने इस्राएली पुरनियों को और गोत्रों के सब मुख्य पुरुषों को भी जो इस्राएलियों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के प्रधान थे, यरूशलेम में अपने पास इस मनसा से इकट्ठा किया, कि वे यहोवा की वाचा का सन्दूक दाऊदपुर अर्थात् सिय्योन से ऊपर ले आएँ।
2 and all the men of Israel are assembled to King Solomon, in the month of Ethanim, in the festival (the seventh month).
२अतः सब इस्राएली पुरुष एतानीम नामक सातवें महीने के पर्व के समय राजा सुलैमान के पास इकट्ठे हुए।
3 And all [the] elderly of Israel come in, and the priests lift up the Ark,
३जब सब इस्राएली पुरनिये आए, तब याजकों ने सन्दूक को उठा लिया।
4 and bring up the Ark of YHWH, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that [are] in the tent, indeed, the priests and the Levites bring them up.
४और यहोवा का सन्दूक, और मिलापवाले तम्बू, और जितने पवित्र पात्र उस तम्बू में थे, उन सभी को याजक और लेवीय लोग ऊपर ले गए।
5 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who are assembled to him [are] with him before the Ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that are not counted nor numbered for multitude.
५और राजा सुलैमान और समस्त इस्राएली मण्डली, जो उसके पास इकट्ठी हुई थी, वे सब सन्दूक के सामने इतने भेड़ और बैल बलि कर रहे थे, जिनकी गिनती किसी रीति से नहीं हो सकती थी।
6 And the priests bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH to its place, to the oracle of the house, to the Holy of Holies, to the place of the wings of the cherubim;
६तब याजकों ने यहोवा की वाचा का सन्दूक उसके स्थान को अर्थात् भवन के पवित्रस्थान में, जो परमपवित्र स्थान है, पहुँचाकर करूबों के पंखों के तले रख दिया।
7 for the cherubim are spreading forth two wings to the place of the Ark, and the cherubim cover over the Ark, and over its poles from above;
७करूब सन्दूक के स्थान के ऊपर पंख ऐसे फैलाए हुए थे, कि वे ऊपर से सन्दूक और उसके डंडों को ढाँके थे।
8 and they lengthen the poles, and the heads of the poles are seen from the holy [place] on the front of the oracle, and are not seen outside, and they are there to this day.
८डंडे तो ऐसे लम्बे थे, कि उनके सिरे उस पवित्रस्थान से जो पवित्रस्थान के सामने था दिखाई पड़ते थे परन्तु बाहर से वे दिखाई नहीं पड़ते थे। वे आज के दिन तक यहीं वर्तमान हैं।
9 There is nothing in the Ark, only the two tablets of stone which Moses put there in Horeb when YHWH covenanted with the sons of Israel in their going out of the land of Egypt.
९सन्दूक में कुछ नहीं था, उन दो पटियाओं को छोड़ जो मूसा ने होरेब में उसके भीतर उस समय रखीं, जब यहोवा ने इस्राएलियों के मिस्र से निकलने पर उनके साथ वाचा बाँधी थी।
10 And it comes to pass, in the going out of the priests from the holy [place], that the cloud has filled the house of YHWH,
१०जब याजक पवित्रस्थान से निकले, तब यहोवा के भवन में बादल भर आया।
11 and the priests have not been able to stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of YHWH has filled the house of YHWH.
११और बादल के कारण याजक सेवा टहल करने को खड़े न रह सके, क्योंकि यहोवा का तेज यहोवा के भवन में भर गया था।
12 Then Solomon said, “YHWH has said [He is] to dwell in thick darkness;
१२तब सुलैमान कहने लगा, “यहोवा ने कहा था, कि मैं घोर अंधकार में वास किए रहूँगा।
13 I have surely built a house of habitation for You; a fixed place for Your abiding for all ages.”
१३सचमुच मैंने तेरे लिये एक वासस्थान, वरन् ऐसा दृढ़ स्थान बनाया है, जिसमें तू युगानुयुग बना रहे।”
14 And the king turns his face around, and blesses the whole assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel is standing.
१४तब राजा ने इस्राएल की पूरी सभा की ओर मुँह फेरकर उसको आशीर्वाद दिया; और पूरी सभा खड़ी रही।
15 And he says, “Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, who spoke by His mouth with my father David, and by His hand has fulfilled [it], saying,
१५और उसने कहा, “धन्य है इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा! जिसने अपने मुँह से मेरे पिता दाऊद को यह वचन दिया था, और अपने हाथ से उसे पूरा किया है,
16 From the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not fixed on a city out of all the tribes of Israel, to build a house for My Name being there; and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.
१६‘जिस दिन से मैं अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल को मिस्र से निकाल लाया, तब से मैंने किसी इस्राएली गोत्र का कोई नगर नहीं चुना, जिसमें मेरे नाम के निवास के लिये भवन बनाया जाए; परन्तु मैंने दाऊद को चुन लिया, कि वह मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल का अधिकारी हो।’
17 And it is with the heart of my father David to build a house for the Name of YHWH, God of Israel,
१७मेरे पिता दाऊद की यह इच्छा तो थी कि इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा के नाम का एक भवन बनाए।
18 and YHWH says to my father David, Because that it has been with your heart to build a house for My Name, you have done well that it has been with your heart;
१८परन्तु यहोवा ने मेरे पिता दाऊद से कहा, ‘यह जो तेरी इच्छा है, कि यहोवा के नाम का एक भवन बनाए, ऐसी इच्छा करके तूने भला तो किया;
19 only, you do not build the house, but your son who is coming out from your loins, he builds the house for My Name.
१९तो भी तू उस भवन को न बनाएगा; तेरा जो निज पुत्र होगा, वही मेरे नाम का भवन बनाएगा।’
20 And YHWH establishes His word which He spoke, and I am risen up instead of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as YHWH spoke, and build the house for the Name of YHWH, God of Israel,
२०यह जो वचन यहोवा ने कहा था, उसे उसने पूरा भी किया है, और मैं अपने पिता दाऊद के स्थान पर उठकर, यहोवा के वचन के अनुसार इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजमान हूँ, और इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा के नाम से इस भवन को बनाया है।
21 and I set a place for the Ark there, where the covenant of YHWH [is], which He made with our fathers in His bringing them out from the land of Egypt.”
२१और इसमें मैंने एक स्थान उस सन्दूक के लिये ठहराया है, जिसमें यहोवा की वह वाचा है, जो उसने हमारे पुरखाओं को मिस्र देश से निकालने के समय उनसे बाँधी थी।”
22 And Solomon stands before the altar of YHWH, in front of all the assembly of Israel, and spreads his hands toward the heavens,
२२तब सुलैमान इस्राएल की पूरी सभा के देखते यहोवा की वेदी के सामने खड़ा हुआ, और अपने हाथ स्वर्ग की ओर फैलाकर कहा, हे यहोवा!
23 and says, “YHWH, God of Israel, there is not a God like You, in the heavens above and on the earth below, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Your servants, those walking before You with all their heart,
२३हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर! तेरे समान न तो ऊपर स्वर्ग में, और न नीचे पृथ्वी पर कोई परमेश्वर है: तेरे जो दास अपने सम्पूर्ण मन से अपने को तेरे सम्मुख जानकर चलते हैं, उनके लिये तू अपनी वाचा पूरी करता, और करुणा करता रहता है।
24 which You have kept for Your servant, my father David, that which You spoke to him; indeed, You speak with Your mouth, and with Your hand have fulfilled [it], as [at] this day.
२४जो वचन तूने मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, उसका तूने पालन किया है, जैसा तूने अपने मुँह से कहा था, वैसा ही अपने हाथ से उसको पूरा किया है, जैसा कि आज है।
25 And now, YHWH, God of Israel, keep for Your servant, my father David, that which You spoke to him, saying, A man of yours is never cut off from before My face, sitting on the throne of Israel—only, if your sons watch their way, to walk before Me as you have walked before Me.
२५इसलिए अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा! इस वचन को भी पूरा कर, जो तूने अपने दास मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, ‘तेरे कुल में, मेरे सामने इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजनेवाले सदैव बने रहेंगे इतना हो कि जैसे तू स्वयं मुझे सम्मुख जानकर चलता रहा, वैसे ही तेरे वंश के लोग अपनी चाल चलन में ऐसी ही चौकसी करें।’
26 And now, O God of Israel, please let Your word be established which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.
२६इसलिए अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर अपना जो वचन तूने अपने दास मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था उसे सच्चा सिद्ध कर।
27 But is it true [that] God dwells on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heavens of the heavens cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!
२७“क्या परमेश्वर सचमुच पृथ्वी पर वास करेगा, स्वर्ग में वरन् सबसे ऊँचे स्वर्ग में भी तू नहीं समाता, फिर मेरे बनाए हुए इस भवन में कैसे समाएगा।
28 Then You have turned to the prayer of Your servant, and to his supplication, O YHWH my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today,
२८तो भी हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा! अपने दास की प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट की ओर कान लगाकर, मेरी चिल्लाहट और यह प्रार्थना सुन! जो मैं आज तेरे सामने कर रहा हूँ;
29 for Your eyes being open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My Name is there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.
२९कि तेरी आँख इस भवन की ओर अर्थात् इसी स्थान की ओर जिसके विषय तूने कहा है, ‘मेरा नाम वहाँ रहेगा,’ रात दिन खुली रहें और जो प्रार्थना तेरा दास इस स्थान की ओर करे, उसे तू सुन ले।
30 Then You have listened to the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, which they pray toward this place; indeed, You listen in the place of Your dwelling, in the heavens—and You have listened, and have forgiven,
३०और तू अपने दास, और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल की प्रार्थना जिसको वे इस स्थान की ओर गिड़गिड़ा के करें उसे सुनना, वरन् स्वर्ग में से जो तेरा निवास-स्थान है सुन लेना, और सुनकर क्षमा करना।
31 that which a man sins against his neighbor, and he has lifted up an oath on him to cause him to swear, and the oath has come in before Your altar in this house,
३१“जब कोई किसी दूसरे का अपराध करे, और उसको शपथ खिलाई जाए, और वह आकर इस भवन में तेरी वेदी के सामने शपथ खाए,
32 then You hear in the heavens, and have done, and have judged Your servants, to declare wicked the wicked, to put his way on his [own] head, and to declare righteous the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
३२तब तू स्वर्ग में सुनकर, अर्थात् अपने दासों का न्याय करके दुष्ट को दुष्ट ठहरा और उसकी चाल उसी के सिर लौटा दे, और निर्दोष को निर्दोष ठहराकर, उसके धार्मिकता के अनुसार उसको फल देना।
33 In Your people Israel being struck before an enemy, because they sin against You, and they have turned back to You, and have confessed Your Name, and prayed, and made supplication to You in this house,
३३फिर जब तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल तेरे विरुद्ध पाप करने के कारण अपने शत्रुओं से हार जाए, और तेरी ओर फिरकर तेरा नाम ले और इस भवन में तुझ से गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ प्रार्थना करे,
34 then you hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your people Israel, and brought them back to the ground that You gave to their fathers.
३४तब तू स्वर्ग में से सुनकर अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल का पाप क्षमा करना: और उन्हें इस देश में लौटा ले आना, जो तूने उनके पुरखाओं को दिया था।
35 In the heavens being restrained, and there is no rain, because they sin against You, and they have prayed toward this place, and confessed Your Name, and turn back from their sin, for You afflict them,
३५“जब वे तेरे विरुद्ध पाप करें, और इस कारण आकाश बन्द हो जाए, कि वर्षा न होए, ऐसे समय यदि वे इस स्थान की ओर प्रार्थना करके तेरे नाम को मानें जब तू उन्हें दुःख देता है, और अपने पाप से फिरें, तो तू स्वर्ग में से सुनकर क्षमा करना,
36 then You hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You direct them [to] the good way in which they go, and have given rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for inheritance.
३६और अपने दासों, अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के पाप को क्षमा करना; तू जो उनको वह भला मार्ग दिखाता है, जिस पर उन्हें चलना चाहिये, इसलिए अपने इस देश पर, जो तूने अपनी प्रजा का भागकर दिया है, पानी बरसा देना।
37 Famine—when it is in the land; pestilence—when it is [in the land]; blasting, mildew, locust; caterpillar—when it is [in the land]; when its enemy has distressed it in the land [in] its gates, any plague, any sickness—
३७“जब इस देश में अकाल या मरी या झुलस हो या गेरूई या टिड्डियाँ या कीड़े लगें या उनके शत्रु उनके देश के फाटकों में उन्हें घेर रखें, अथवा कोई विपत्ति या रोग क्यों न हों,
38 any prayer, any supplication that [is] of any man of all Your people Israel, each who knows the plague of his own heart, and has spread his hands toward this house,
३८तब यदि कोई मनुष्य या तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल अपने-अपने मन का दुःख जान लें, और गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ प्रार्थना करके अपने हाथ इस भवन की ओर फैलाए;
39 then You hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have forgiven, and have done, and have given to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You have known—You alone—the heart of all the sons of man),
३९तो तू अपने स्वर्गीय निवास-स्थान में से सुनकर क्षमा करना, और ऐसा करना, कि एक-एक के मन को जानकर उसकी समस्त चाल के अनुसार उसको फल देना: तू ही तो सब मनुष्यों के मन के भेदों का जाननेवाला है।
40 so that they fear You all the days that they are living on the face of the ground that You have given to our fathers.
४०तब वे जितने दिन इस देश में रहें, जो तूने उनके पुरखाओं को दिया था, उतने दिन तक तेरा भय मानते रहें।
41 And also, to the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a far-off land for Your Name’s sake—
४१“फिर परदेशी भी जो तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल का न हो, जब वह तेरा नाम सुनकर, दूर देश से आए,
42 for they hear of Your great Name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your outstretched arm—and he has come in and prayed toward this house,
४२वह तो तेरे बड़े नाम और बलवन्त हाथ और बढ़ाई हुई भुजा का समाचार पाए; इसलिए जब ऐसा कोई आकर इस भवन की ओर प्रार्थना करे,
43 You hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have done according to all that the stranger calls to You for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your Name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your Name has been called on this house which I have built.
४३तब तू अपने स्वर्गीय निवास-स्थान में से सुन, और जिस बात के लिये ऐसा परदेशी तुझे पुकारे, उसी के अनुसार व्यवहार करना जिससे पृथ्वी के सब देशों के लोग तेरा नाम जानकर तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल के समान तेरा भय मानें, और निश्चय जानें, कि यह भवन जिसे मैंने बनाया है, वह तेरा ही कहलाता है।
44 When Your people go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You send them, and they have prayed to YHWH [in] the way of the city which you have fixed on, and of the house which I have built for Your Name,
४४“जब तेरी प्रजा के लोग जहाँ कहीं तू उन्हें भेजे, वहाँ अपने शत्रुओं से लड़ाई करने को निकल जाएँ, और इस नगर की ओर जिसे तूने चुना है, और इस भवन की ओर जिसे मैंने तेरे नाम पर बनाया है, यहोवा से प्रार्थना करें,
45 then You have heard their prayer and their supplication in the heavens, and have maintained their cause.
४५तब तू स्वर्ग में से उनकी प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट सुनकर उनका न्याय
46 When they sin against You (for there is not a man who does not sin), and You have been angry with them, and have given them up before an enemy, and they have taken captive their captivity to the land of the enemy far off or near;
४६“निष्पाप तो कोई मनुष्य नहीं है: यदि ये भी तेरे विरुद्ध पाप करें, और तू उन पर कोप करके उन्हें शत्रुओं के हाथ कर दे, और वे उनको बन्दी बनाकर अपने देश को चाहे वह दूर हो, चाहे निकट, ले जाएँ,
47 and they have turned [it] back to their heart in the land to where they have been taken captive, and have turned back, and made supplication to You in the land of their captors, saying, We have sinned and done perversely—we have done wickedly;
४७और यदि वे बँधुआई के देश में सोच विचार करें, और फिरकर अपने बन्दी बनानेवालों के देश में तुझ से गिड़गिड़ाकर कहें, ‘हमने पाप किया, और कुटिलता और दुष्टता की है;’
48 indeed, they have turned back to You with all their heart and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and have prayed to You [in] the way of their land, which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your Name:
४८और यदि वे अपने उन शत्रुओं के देश में जो उन्हें बन्दी करके ले गए हों, अपने सम्पूर्ण मन और सम्पूर्ण प्राण से तेरी ओर फिरें और अपने इस देश की ओर जो तूने उनके पुरखाओं को दिया था, और इस नगर की ओर जिसे तूने चुना है, और इस भवन की ओर जिसे मैंने तेरे नाम का बनाया है, तुझ से प्रार्थना करें,
49 then You have heard in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, their prayer and their supplication, and have maintained their cause,
४९तो तू अपने स्वर्गीय निवास-स्थान में से उनकी प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट सुनना; और उनका न्याय करना,
50 and have forgiven Your people who have sinned against You, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and have given them mercies before their captors, and they have had mercy [on] them—
५०और जो पाप तेरी प्रजा के लोग तेरे विरुद्ध करेंगे, और जितने अपराध वे तेरे विरुद्ध करेंगे, सब को क्षमा करके, उनके बन्दी करनेवालों के मन में ऐसी दया उपजाना कि वे उन पर दया करें।
51 for they [are] Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Egypt, out of the midst of the furnace of iron—
५१क्योंकि वे तो तेरी प्रजा और तेरा निज भाग हैं जिन्हें तू लोहे के भट्ठे के मध्य में से अर्थात् मिस्र से निकाल लाया है।
52 for Your eyes being open to the supplication of Your servant, and to the supplication of Your people Israel, to listen to them in all they call to You for;
५२इसलिए तेरी आँखें तेरे दास की गिड़गिड़ाहट और तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल की गिड़गिड़ाहट की ओर ऐसी खुली रहें, कि जब जब वे तुझे पुकारें, तब-तब तू उनकी सुन ले;
53 for You have separated them to Yourself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as You spoke by the hand of Your servant Moses, in Your bringing out our fathers from Egypt, O Lord YHWH.”
५३क्योंकि हे प्रभु यहोवा अपने उस वचन के अनुसार, जो तूने हमारे पुरखाओं को मिस्र से निकालने के समय अपने दास मूसा के द्वारा दिया था, तूने इन लोगों को अपना निज भाग होने के लिये पृथ्वी की सब जातियों से अलग किया है।”
54 And it comes to pass, at Solomon’s finishing to pray to YHWH all this prayer and supplication, he has risen from before the altar of YHWH, from bending on his knees and [having] his hands spread out to the heavens,
५४जब सुलैमान यहोवा से यह सब प्रार्थना गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ कर चुका, तब वह जो घुटने टेके और आकाश की ओर हाथ फैलाए हुए था, यहोवा की वेदी के सामने से उठा,
55 and he stands and blesses all the assembly of Israel [with] a loud voice, saying,
५५और खड़ा हो, समस्त इस्राएली सभा को ऊँचे स्वर से यह कहकर आशीर्वाद दिया,
56 “Blessed [is] YHWH who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; not [even] one word has fallen of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of His servant Moses.
५६“धन्य है यहोवा, जिसने ठीक अपने कथन के अनुसार अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल को विश्राम दिया है, जितनी भलाई की बातें उसने अपने दास मूसा के द्वारा कही थीं, उनमें से एक भी बिना पूरी हुए नहीं रही।
57 Our God YHWH is with us as He has been with our fathers; He does not forsake us nor leave us;
५७हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा जैसे हमारे पुरखाओं के संग रहता था, वैसे ही हमारे संग भी रहे, वह हमको त्याग न दे और न हमको छोड़ दे।
58 to incline our heart to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers;
५८वह हमारे मन अपनी ओर ऐसा फिराए रखे, कि हम उसके सब मार्गों पर चला करें, और उसकी आज्ञाएँ और विधियाँ और नियम जिन्हें उसने हमारे पुरखाओं को दिया था, नित माना करें।
59 and these, my words, with which I have made supplication before YHWH, are near to our God YHWH by day and by night, to maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel, the matter of a day in its day,
५९और मेरी ये बातें जिनकी मैंने यहोवा के सामने विनती की है, वह दिन और रात हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा के मन में बनी रहें, और जैसी प्रतिदिन आवश्यकता हो वैसा ही वह अपने दास का और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल का भी न्याय किया करे,
60 that all the peoples of the earth may know that He, YHWH, [is] God; there is none else;
६०और इससे पृथ्वी की सब जातियाँ यह जान लें, कि यहोवा ही परमेश्वर है; और कोई दूसरा नहीं।
61 and your heart has been perfect with our God YHWH, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commands, as [at] this day.”
६१तो तुम्हारा मन हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा की ओर ऐसी पूरी रीति से लगा रहे, कि आज के समान उसकी विधियों पर चलते और उसकी आज्ञाएँ मानते रहो।”
62 And the king and all Israel with him are sacrificing a sacrifice before YHWH;
६२तब राजा समस्त इस्राएल समेत यहोवा के सम्मुख मेलबलि चढ़ाने लगा।
63 and Solomon sacrifices the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he has sacrificed to YHWH: twenty-two thousand oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep; and the king and all the sons of Israel dedicate the house of YHWH.
६३और जो पशु सुलैमान ने मेलबलि में यहोवा को चढ़ाए, वे बाईस हजार बैल और एक लाख बीस हजार भेड़ें थीं। इस रीति राजा ने सब इस्राएलियों समेत यहोवा के भवन की प्रतिष्ठा की।
64 On that day the king has sanctified the middle of the court that [is] before the house of YHWH, for he has made the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings there; for the altar of bronze that [is] before YHWH [is] too small to contain the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings.
६४उस दिन राजा ने यहोवा के भवन के सामनेवाले आँगन के मध्य भी एक स्थान पवित्र किया और होमबलि, और अन्नबलि और मेलबलियों की चर्बी वहीं चढ़ाई; क्योंकि जो पीतल की वेदी यहोवा के सामने थी, वह उनके लिये छोटी थी।
65 And Solomon makes, at that time, the festival—and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entering in of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt—before our God YHWH, [for] seven days and seven [more] days—fourteen days.
६५अतः सुलैमान ने और उसके संग समस्त इस्राएल की एक बड़ी सभा ने जो हमात के प्रवेश-द्वार से लेकर मिस्र के नाले तक के सब देशों से इकट्ठी हुई थी, दो सप्ताह तक अर्थात् चौदह दिन तक हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा के सामने पर्व को माना।
66 On the eighth day he has sent the people away, and they bless the king, and go to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart for all the good that YHWH has done to His servant David, and to His people Israel.
६६फिर आठवें दिन उसने प्रजा के लोगों को विदा किया। और वे राजा को धन्य, धन्य, कहकर उस सब भलाई के कारण जो यहोवा ने अपने दास दाऊद और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल से की थी, आनन्दित और मगन होकर अपने-अपने डेरे को चले गए।
