1 Kings 6

1 And it comes to pass, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fourth year—in the month of Ziv, it [is] the second month—of the reigning of Solomon over Israel, that he builds the house for YHWH.

౧ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఐగుప్తు దేశం నుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన 480 వ సంవత్సరంలో, అంటే సొలొమోను పాలనలో నాలుగో సంవత్సరం, జీప్‌ అనే రెండో నెలలో అతడు యెహోవా మందిర నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభించాడు.

2 As for the house that King Solomon has built for YHWH, its length [is] sixty cubits, and its breadth twenty, and its height thirty cubits.

౨సొలొమోను రాజు యెహోవాకు కట్టించిన మందిరం పొడవు 60 మూరలు, వెడల్పు 20 మూరలు, ఎత్తు 30 మూరలు.

3 As for the porch on the front of the temple of the house, its length [is] twenty cubits on the front of the breadth of the house; its breadth [is] ten by the cubit on the front of the house;

౩పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం ఎదుట ఉన్న ముఖమంటపం పొడవు మందిరం వెడల్పుతో సమానంగా 20 మూరలు. మందిరం ఎదుట ఆ మంటపం వెడల్పు 10 మూరలు.

4 and he makes frames of narrowing windows for the house.

౪అతడు మందిరానికి నగిషీ పని చేసిన అల్లిక కిటికీలు చేయించాడు.

5 And he builds a couch against the wall of the house all around, [even] the walls of the house all around, of the temple and of the oracle, and makes sides all around.

౫మందిరం గోడ చుట్టూ గదులు కట్టించాడు. మందిరం గోడలకు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం బయటి గోడల వరకూ ఆ గదులు గర్భాలయానికి చుట్టూ నాలుగు వైపులా అతడు కట్టించాడు.

6 The lowest couch, its breadth [is] five by the cubit; and the middle, its breadth [is] six by the cubit; and the third, its breadth [is] seven by the cubit, for he has put withdrawings of the house all around outside—not to lay hold on the walls of the house.

7 And the house, in its being built, has been built of perfect stone [that was] brought; and hammer and the axe—any instrument of iron—was not heard in the house in its being built.

౭అయితే మందిరం కట్టే సమయంలో ముందుగా సిద్ధపరచి తెచ్చిన రాళ్లతో కట్టారు. మందిరం కట్టే స్థలం లో సుత్తె, గొడ్డలి మొదలైన ఇనప పనిముట్ల శబ్దం ఎంత మాత్రం వినబడలేదు.

8 The opening of the middle side [is] at the right shoulder of the house, and with windings they go up on the middle one, and from the middle one to the third.

౮మందిరం కుడి పక్కన మధ్య అంతస్తుకు తలుపు ఉంది. మధ్య అంతస్తు గదికీ మధ్య అంతస్తు గదిలో నుండి మూడవ అంతస్తు గదికీ ఎక్కి వెళ్ళడానికి చుట్టూ మెట్ల చట్రాలున్నాయి.

9 And he builds the house, and completes it, and covers the house [with] beams and rows of cedars.

౯ఈ విధంగా అతడు మందిర నిర్మాణం ముగించి మందిరాన్ని దేవదారు దూలాలతో, పలకలతో కప్పించాడు.

10 And he builds the couch against all the house, its breadth [is] five cubits, and it takes hold of the house by cedar-wood.

౧౦మందిరానికి చుట్టూ గదులు కట్టించాడు. ఇవి ఐదు మూరల ఎత్తు కలిగి దేవదారు దూలాల చేత మందిరంతో గట్టిగా సంధించి ఉన్నాయి.

11 And the word of YHWH is to Solomon, saying,

౧౧అంతలో యెహోవా వాక్కు సొలొమోనుకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

12 “This house that you are building—if you walk in My statutes, and do My judgments, indeed, have done all My commands, to walk in them, then I have established My word with you, which I spoke to your father David,

౧౨“ఈ మందిరాన్ని నీవు కట్టిస్తున్నావు కదా, నీవు నా చట్టాలు, న్యాయవిధులు పాటిస్తూ, నా ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటికీ విధేయత చూపితే నీ తండ్రి దావీదుతో నేను చేసిన వాగ్దానాన్ని నీ విషయంలో స్థిరపరుస్తాను.

13 and have dwelt in the midst of the sons of Israel, and do not forsake My people Israel.”

౧౩ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనే నా ప్రజలను విడిచి పెట్టక నేను వారి మధ్య నివాసం చేస్తాను.”

14 And Solomon builds the house and completes it;

౧౪ఈ విధంగా సొలొమోను మందిర నిర్మాణాన్ని ముగించాడు.

15 and he builds the walls of the house within with beams of cedar, from the floor of the house to the walls of the ceiling; he has overlaid the inside with wood, and covers the floor of the house with ribs of fir.

౧౫అతడు మందిరం లోపలి గోడలను దేవదారు పలకలతో కట్టించాడు. అడుగు నుండి పైకప్పు వరకూ గోడలను దేవదారు పలకలతో కప్పించాడు. మందిరం నేలను సరళ మాను పలకలతో కప్పించాడు.

16 And he builds the twenty cubits on the sides of the house with ribs of cedar, from the floor to the walls; and he builds for it within, for the oracle, for the Holy of Holies.

౧౬మందిరం పక్కలను కింది నుండి గోడల పై భాగం వరకూ దేవదారు పలకలతో 20 మూరల ఎత్తు కట్టించాడు. అతడు దాన్ని గర్భాలయం కోసం, అంటే అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం కోసం కట్టించాడు.

17 And [this area of] the house was forty by the cubit; it [is the area of] the temple before My face.

౧౭అయితే దాని ఎదుట ఉన్న పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం పొడవు 40 మూరలు.

18 And the cedar for the house within [is] carvings of knobs and openings of flowers; the whole [is] cedar, there is not a stone seen.

౧౮మందిరం లోపల ఉన్న దేవదారు పలకల మీద గుబ్బలు, వికసించిన పువ్వులు చెక్కి ఉన్నాయి. అంతా దేవదారు కర్ర పనే, రాయి ఒక్కటి కూడా కనిపించ లేదు.

19 And he has prepared the oracle in the midst of the house within, to put the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH there.

౧౯యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసాన్ని ఉంచడానికి మందిరం లోపల అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలాన్ని సిద్ధపరిచాడు.

20 And before the oracle [is] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and its height [is] twenty cubits; and he overlays it with gold refined, and overlays the altar with cedar.

౨౦అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం లోపల 20 మూరల పొడవు, 20 మూరల వెడల్పు, 20 మూరల ఎత్తు ఉంది. దీన్ని మేలిమి బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు. దేవదారు చెక్కతో చేసిన బలిపీఠాన్ని కూడా ఇదే విధంగా పొదిగించాడు.

21 And Solomon overlays the house within with gold refined, and causes [it] to pass over in chains of gold before the oracle, and overlays it with gold.

౨౧ఈ విధంగా సొలొమోను మందిరం లోపల అంతా మేలిమి బంగారంతో పొదిగించి అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం ఎదుట బంగారు గొలుసులు ఉన్న తెర చేయించి బంగారంతో దాన్ని పొదిగించాడు.

22 And he has overlaid the whole of the house with gold, until the completion of all the house; and the whole of the altar that the oracle has, he has overlaid with gold.

౨౨ఏ భాగాన్నీ విడిచి పెట్టకుండా మందిరమంతా బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు. అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం దగ్గర ఉన్న బలిపీఠాన్ని బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు.

23 And he makes two cherubim of the oil-tree within the oracle; their height [is] ten cubits;

౨౩అతడు అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం లో 10 మూరల ఎత్తున్న రెండు కెరూబులను ఒలీవ కర్రతో చేయించాడు.

24 and the first wing of the cherub [is] five cubits, and the second wing of the cherub five cubits—ten cubits from the ends of his wings even to the ends of his wings;

౨౪ఒక్కొక్క కెరూబుకు 5 మూరల పొడవైన రెక్కలున్నాయి. ఒక రెక్క చివరి నుండి రెండవ రెక్క చివరి వరకూ 10 మూరలు పొడవు.

25 and the second cherub [is] ten by the cubit; one measure and one form [are] of the two cherubim,

౨౫రెండవ కెరూబు రెక్కలు కూడా 10 మూరలు ఉంది. కెరూబులు రెండింటికీ ఒకే కొలతలు, ఒకే ఆకారం ఉన్నాయి.

26 the height of the first cherub [is] ten by the cubit, and so [is] the second cherub;

౨౬ఒక కెరూబు 10 మూరల ఎత్తు, రెండవ కెరూబు కూడా అంతే ఎత్తు.

27 and he sets the cherubim in the midst of the inner house, and they spread out the wings of the cherubim, and a wing of the first comes against the wall, and a wing of the second cherub is coming against the second wall, and their wings [stretched] into the midst of the house, coming wing against wing;

౨౭అతడు ఈ కెరూబులను గర్భాలయంలో ఉంచాడు. ఆ కెరూబుల రెక్కలు పూర్తిగా విప్పుకుని ఒకదాని రెక్క ఇవతలి గోడకీ, రెండవదాని రెక్క అవతలి గోడకీ అంటుకుని ఉన్నాయి. అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం లో వీటి రెక్కలు ఒకదానితో ఒకటి అంటుకుని ఉన్నాయి.

28 and he overlays the cherubim with gold,

౨౮ఈ కెరూబులను అతడు బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు.

29 and he has carved all around the walls of the house with engravings of carvings, cherubim, and palm trees, and openings of flowers, inside and outside.

౨౯మందిరం గోడలన్నిటి మీదా లోపలా బయటా కెరూబు ఆకారాలను, ఖర్జూర చెట్ల ఆకారాలను, వికసించిన పూలను చెక్కించాడు.

30 And he has overlaid the floor of the house with gold, inside and outside;

౩౦లోపలి, బయట గదుల్లో మందిరం నేలంతా బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు.

31 as for the opening of the oracle, he made doors of the oil-tree; the lintel [and] doorposts [are] a fifth [of the wall].

౩౧అతి పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం ద్వారానికి ఒలీవకర్రతో తలుపులు చేయించాడు. ద్వారబంధం మీది కమ్మీ, నిలువు కమ్మీల వెడల్పు, గోడ వెడల్పులో ఐదో భాగం ఉన్నాయి.

32 And the two doors [are] of the oil-tree, and he has carved on them carvings of cherubim, and palm-trees, and openings of flowers, and overlaid with gold, and he causes the gold to go down on the cherubim and on the palm-trees.

౩౨రెండు తలుపులూ ఒలీవ కర్రతో చేసినవి. వాటి మీద కెరూబులు, ఖర్జూర వృక్షాలు, వికసించిన పూవుల ఆకారాలు చెక్కించి వాటిని బంగారంతో పొదిగించాడు. కెరూబుల మీదా ఖర్జూర వృక్షాల మీదా బంగారం పొదిగించాడు.

33 And so he has made for the opening of the temple, doorposts of the oil-tree, from the fourth [of the wall].

౩౩పరిశుద్ధ స్థలం ద్వారానికి ఒలీవ కర్రతో రెండు నిలువు కమ్ములు చేయించాడు. వీటి వెడల్పు గోడ వెడల్పులో నాలుగో వంతు.

34 And the two doors [are] of fir-tree, the two sides of the first door are revolving, and the two hangings of the second door are revolving.

౩౪రెండు తలుపులు దేవదారు కలపతో చేసినవి. ఒక్కొక్క తలుపుకు రెండేసి మడత రెక్కలు ఉన్నాయి.

35 And he has carved cherubim, and palms, and openings of flowers, and overlaid the carved work with straightened gold.

౩౫వాటి మీద అతడు కెరూబులనూ ఖర్జూర చెట్లనూ వికసించిన పూవులనూ చెక్కించి వాటి మీద బంగారు రేకు పొదిగించాడు.

36 And he builds the inner court, three rows of hewn work, and a row of beams of cedar.

౩౬లోపల ఉన్న పెద్ద గదిని మూడు వరసల చెక్కిన రాళ్లతో, ఒక వరుస దేవదారు దూలాలతో కట్టించాడు.

37 In the fourth year the house of YHWH has been founded, in the month of Ziv,

౩౭నాలుగో సంవత్సరం జీప్‌ నెలలో యెహోవా మందిరం పునాది వేశారు.

38 and in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul (the eighth month), the house has been finished in all its matters, and in all its ordinances, and he builds it [in] seven years.

౩౮పదకొండవ సంవత్సరం బూలు అనే ఎనిమిదో నెలలో దాని ఏర్పాటు ప్రకారం దాని విభాగాలన్నిటితో మందిరం పూర్తి అయ్యింది. దాన్ని కట్టించడానికి సొలొమోనుకి ఏడు సంవత్సరాలు పట్టింది.
