< 1 John 5 >

1 Everyone who is believing that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God, and everyone who is loving Him who begot, also loves him who is begotten of Him.
Umunu uveianchaga uvikhumwideekha u Yeesu Kilisiti aholiwe nu Nguluve, nayuvienchaga ahumile kwa Daada puikhuvagana na vaana vamwene.
2 In this we know that we love the children of God, when we may love God and may keep His commands;
Khu eili tulumanyile ukhuta tuvagabile avana va Nguluve-uputukhuga na u Nguluve nukhinchikonga indagilo ncha mweene.
3 for this is the love of God, that we may keep His commands, and His commands are not burdensome;
Ewo wuyieliewo ukuta tuganile Unguluve tukhuchibata indagilo nchamwene. Khange eindagilo ncha mwene mepe.
4 because everyone who is begotten of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcame the world—our faith.
Ulwakhuva uvyaholiwe nu Nguluve akhilemile eikhilunga. Uvu uwa wu vutole uwakhukhitoki eikhilunga, mundwidikho lweitu.
5 Who is he who is overcoming the world, if not he who is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?
Vie veni uvyakhitolile ikhilunga? Vie ula uvikwedikha ukhuta U-Yesu mwana va Nguluve.
6 This One is He who came through water and blood—Jesus the Christ, not in water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit is the [One] testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,
Uyu vienchile khumagasi nu nkisa -U-Yesu klisti. Saainche khumagasi geene, ainchile khumagasi nunkisa.
7 because [there] are three who are testifying [[in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one;
Ulwakhuva vali padatu avavinchova.
8 and [there] are three who are testifying in the earth]]: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.
Umepo, amagasi nunkisa ava vadatu vipuliehana. (Nchingakhincha: amamenyu “Udaada Ilimenyu nu Mepo Umbalanche” sagiivoneka mbusimbe uvunonu uwakhatale).
9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that He has testified concerning His Son.
Tungave tukhukwipila inchivombike va vanu inchivumbike nu Nguluve nchiluteilile. Ulwakhuva imbombo ncha Nguluve inchi-ukhuta alinimbombo inchijwanine nu Nswambe.
10 He who is believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who is not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son;
Umwene uvikhumwiedeeka umwana va Nguluve vya unimbombo inchivoeke mugaati muwene. Uviesikhumwidikha Unguluve puluita Unguluve iedesi. Ulwakhuva siedike imbombo ncha Nguluve incha nchivombile unswambe.
11 and this is the testimony, that God gave continuous life to us, and this life is in His Son; (aiōnios g166)
Inchi nchumbombo-inchuu Unguluve atupile uwumi wa siku nchoni, nuwumi uwu vuligaati Munswambe. (aiōnios g166)
12 he who is having the Son has life; he who is not having the Son of God does not have life.
Uvyalienave umwana vyalienuwumi unchila mwana va Nguluve alivuvule uwumi.
13 I wrote these things to you who are believing in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have continuous life, and that you may believe in the Name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
Nievasimbile aga mulumanye ukhuta mulenuwumi uawsiku nchoni-umwe mwimukwidika munditaw lya mwana va Nguluve. (aiōnios g166)
14 And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,
Uvu vuvukhifu uvutulinawo pamiho gamwene. Uvu wu vukhifu uvutulinawo pamiho gaamwene tungadove ikyavinchaga ikhutupa.
15 and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
Eingave tulumnyile ukhuta ikhutulipukha-kyokyoni iekhitudova tulumanyile ukhuta tulinakyo ikyo ikyutudovile.
16 If anyone may see his brother sinning a sin [that is] not to death, he will ask, and He will give life to him—to those not sinning to death; there is sin to death—I do not say that he may ask concerning it;
Umunu angambone ulukhololiwe ievomba imbivi inchusajikugeiga kuvufwe panogile u Nguluve iekumpa uwumi. Ninchova khuvala uvuvivi wavene sakhuvagega kuvufwe-kulimbivi eiyikhung'eileka kuvufwe-sanita anogile ukhuta adovage kumbivi eiyo.
17 all unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin [that is] not to death.
Uvungalufu woni nongwa-kulivuvivi uvutava vukhumbila umunu khuvufwe.
18 We have known that everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, but He who was begotten of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him;
Tulumanyile ukhuta uvyaholiwe nu Nguluve sivomba imbivi. Ulwakuva uvyaholiwe nu Nguluve ikhilolela vunonu nayundugu iilemwa. Tulumanyile ukhuta ufwe tulivana va Nguluve.
19 we have known that we are of God, and the whole world lies [under the power] of the evil [one];
Tulumanyile ufwe ukhuta ikhelunga kyooni khilongonchiwa nu undugu.
20 but we have known that the Son of God has come, and has given us a mind that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this One is the true God and the continuous Life! (aiōnios g166)
Tulumanyile ukuta umwana va Nguluve inchile atupile uvumanyi, ukhuta tumanyile uvayilweli uvalweli tuligaati mumwene uvyalenuvuyilweli, pivu tulimugaati mumwene uvalinuvuwanyilweli nu wumi uwasiku nchoni. (aiōnios g166)
21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols! Amen.
Vagaane vana vango mwiepoke nifihwani.
