1 John 4
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
ஹே ப்ரியதமா: , யூயம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷ்வாத்மஸு ந விஸ்²வஸித கிந்து தே ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதா ந வேத்யாத்மந: பரீக்ஷத்⁴வம்’ யதோ ப³ஹவோ ம்ரு’ஷாப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நோ ஜக³ந்மத்⁴யம் ஆக³தவந்த: |
2 In this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ having come in the flesh, it is of God,
ஈஸ்²வரீயோ ய ஆத்மா ஸ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரநேந பரிசீயதாம்’, யீஸு²: க்²ரீஷ்டோ நராவதாரோ பூ⁴த்வாக³த ஏதத்³ யேந கேநசித்³ ஆத்மநா ஸ்வீக்ரியதே ஸ ஈஸ்²வரீய: |
3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ having come in the flesh, it is not of God; and this is that of the antichrist, which you heard that it comes, and now it is already in the world.
கிந்து யீஸு²: க்²ரீஷ்டோ நராவதாரோ பூ⁴த்வாக³த ஏதத்³ யேந கேநசித்³ ஆத்மநா நாங்கீ³க்ரியதே ஸ ஈஸ்²வரீயோ நஹி கிந்து க்²ரீஷ்டாரேராத்மா, தேந சாக³ந்தவ்யமிதி யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸ்²ருதம்’, ஸ சேதா³நீமபி ஜக³தி வர்த்ததே|
4 You are of God, little children, and you have overcome them; because greater is He who [is] in you, than he who is in the world.
ஹே பா³லகா: , யூயம் ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதாஸ்தாந் ஜிதவந்தஸ்²ச யத: ஸம்’ஸாராதி⁴ஷ்டா²நகாரிணோ (அ)பி யுஷ்மத³தி⁴ஷ்டா²நகாரீ மஹாந்|
5 They are of the world, because they speak of this from the world, and the world hears them;
தே ஸம்’ஸாராத் ஜாதாஸ்ததோ ஹேதோ: ஸம்’ஸாராத்³ பா⁴ஷந்தே ஸம்’ஸாரஸ்²ச தேஷாம்’ வாக்யாநி க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி|
6 we are of God; he who is knowing God hears us; he who is not of God, does not hear us; from this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
வயம் ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதா: , ஈஸ்²வரம்’ யோ ஜாநாதி ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மத்³வாக்யாநி க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி யஸ்²சேஸ்²வராத் ஜாதோ நஹி ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மத்³வாக்யாநி ந க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி; அநேந வயம்’ ஸத்யாத்மாநம்’ ப்⁴ராமகாத்மாநஞ்ச பரிசிநும: |
7 Beloved, may we love one another, because love is of God, and everyone loving has been begotten of God, and knows God;
ஹே ப்ரியதமா: , வயம்’ பரஸ்பரம்’ ப்ரேம கரவாம, யத: ப்ரேம ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாயதே, அபரம்’ ய: கஸ்²சித் ப்ரேம கரோதி ஸ ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாத ஈஸ்²வரம்’ வேத்தி ச|
8 he who is not loving did not know God, because God is love.
ய: ப்ரேம ந கரோதி ஸ ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ந ஜாநாதி யத ஈஸ்²வர: ப்ரேமஸ்வரூப: |
9 In this was revealed the love of God in us, because God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we may live through Him;
அஸ்மாஸ்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரேமைதேந ப்ராகாஸ²த யத் ஸ்வபுத்ரேணாஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ ஜீவநதா³நார்த²ம் ஈஸ்²வர: ஸ்வீயம் அத்³விதீயம்’ புத்ரம்’ ஜக³ந்மத்⁴யம்’ ப்ரேஷிதவாந்|
10 in this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son [as] the propitiation for our sins.
வயம்’ யத்³ ஈஸ்²வரே ப்ரீதவந்த இத்யத்ர நஹி கிந்து ஸ யத³ஸ்மாஸு ப்ரீதவாந் அஸ்மத்பாபாநாம்’ ப்ராயஸ்²சிர்த்தார்த²ம்’ ஸ்வபுத்ரம்’ ப்ரேஷிதவாம்’ஸ்²சேத்யத்ர ப்ரேம ஸந்திஷ்ட²தே|
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another;
ஹே ப்ரியதமா: , அஸ்மாஸு யதீ³ஸ்²வரேணைதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரேம க்ரு’தம்’ தர்ஹி பரஸ்பரம்’ ப்ரேம கர்த்தும் அஸ்மாகமப்யுசிதம்’|
12 no one has ever seen God; if we may love one another, God remains in us, and His love is having been perfected in us;
ஈஸ்²வர: கதா³ச கேநாபி ந த்³ரு’ஷ்ட: யத்³யஸ்மாபி⁴: பரஸ்பரம்’ ப்ரேம க்ரியதே தர்ஹீஸ்²வரோ (அ)ஸ்மந்மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²தி தஸ்ய ப்ரேம சாஸ்மாஸு ஸேத்ஸ்யதே|
13 in this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us, because of His Spirit He has given us.
அஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ தேந ஸ்வகீயாத்மநோம்’(அ)ஸோ² த³த்த இத்யநேந வயம்’ யத் தஸ்மிந் திஷ்டா²ம: ஸ ச யத்³ அஸ்மாஸு திஷ்ட²தீதி ஜாநீம: |
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world;
பிதா ஜக³த்ராதாரம்’ புத்ரம்’ ப்ரேஷிதவாந் ஏதத்³ வயம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ப்ரமாணயாம: |
15 whoever may confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God;
யீஸு²ரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ர ஏதத்³ யேநாங்கீ³க்ரியதே தஸ்மிந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்திஷ்ட²தி ஸ சேஸ்²வரே திஷ்ட²தி|
16 and we have known and believed the love that God has in us; God is love, and he who is remaining in love, remains in God, and God in him.
அஸ்மாஸ்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய யத் ப்ரேம வர்த்ததே தத்³ வயம்’ ஜ்ஞாதவந்தஸ்தஸ்மிந் விஸ்²வாஸிதவந்தஸ்²ச| ஈஸ்²வர: ப்ரேமஸ்வரூப: ப்ரேம்நீ யஸ்திஷ்ட²தி ஸ ஈஸ்²வரே திஷ்ட²தி தஸ்மிம்’ஸ்²சேஸ்²வரஸ்திஷ்ட²தி|
17 In this, love has been perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because even as He is, we also are in this world.
ஸ யாத்³ரு’ஸோ² (அ)ஸ்தி வயமப்யேதஸ்மிந் ஜக³தி தாத்³ரு’ஸா² ப⁴வாம ஏதஸ்மாத்³ விசாரதி³நே (அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்யா ப்ரதிபா⁴ லப்⁴யதே ஸாஸ்மத்ஸம்ப³ந்தீ⁴யஸ்ய ப்ரேம்ந: ஸித்³தி⁴: |
18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and he who is fearing has not been made perfect in love;
ப்ரேம்நி பீ⁴தி ர்ந வர்த்ததே கிந்து ஸித்³த⁴ம்’ ப்ரேம பீ⁴திம்’ நிராகரோதி யதோ பீ⁴தி: ஸயாதநாஸ்தி பீ⁴தோ மாநவ: ப்ரேம்நி ஸித்³தோ⁴ ந ஜாத: |
19 we love Him, because He first loved us;
அஸ்மாஸு ஸ ப்ரத²மம்’ ப்ரீதவாந் இதி காரணாத்³ வயம்’ தஸ்மிந் ப்ரீயாமஹே|
20 if anyone may say, “I love God,” and may hate his brother, he is a liar; for he who is not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love God whom he has not seen?
ஈஸ்²வரே (அ)ஹம்’ ப்ரீய இத்யுக்த்வா ய: கஸ்²சித் ஸ்வப்⁴ராதரம்’ த்³வேஷ்டி ஸோ (அ)ந்ரு’தவாதீ³| ஸ யம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் தஸ்மிந் ஸ்வப்⁴ராதரி யதி³ ந ப்ரீயதே தர்ஹி யம் ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ந த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் கத²ம்’ தஸ்மிந் ப்ரேம கர்த்தும்’ ஸ²க்நுயாத்?
21 And this [is] the command we have from Him, that he who is loving God, may also love his brother.
அத ஈஸ்²வரே ய: ப்ரீயதே ஸ ஸ்வீயப்⁴ராதர்ய்யபி ப்ரீயதாம் இயம் ஆஜ்ஞா தஸ்மாத்³ அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்³தா⁴|
