1 Corinthians 6
1 Dare anyone of you, having a matter with the other, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?
Smí někdo z vás, maje při s druhým, souditi se před nepravými, a ne před svatými?
2 Have you not known that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of the smaller judgments?
Nevíte-liž, že svatí svět souditi budou? I poněvadž od vás souzen býti má svět, kterakž nehodni jste těch nejmenších věcí rozsuzovati?
3 Have you not known that we will judge messengers? Why not then the things of life?
Zdaliž nevíte, že anděly souditi budeme? Co pak tyto časné věci?
4 Of the things of life, indeed, then, if you may have judgment, those despised in the Assembly—these you cause to sit;
Protož když byste měli míti soud o tyto časné věci, těmi, kteříž nejzadnější jsou v církvi, soud osaďte.
5 I speak to your shame: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who will be able to discern in the midst of his brothers!
K zahanbeníť vašemu to pravím. Tak-liž není mezi vámi moudrého ani jednoho, kterýž by mohl rozsouditi mezi bratřími svými?
6 But brother with brother goes to be judged, and this before unbelievers!
Ale bratr s bratrem soudí se, a to před nevěřícími?
7 Already, indeed, then, there is altogether a fault among you, that you have judgments with one another; why do you not rather suffer injustice? Why not be defrauded?
Již tedy konečně nedostatek mezi vámi jest, že soudy máte mezi sebou. Proč raději křivdy netrpíte? Proč raději škody nebéřete?
8 But you do injustice, and you defraud, and these—brothers!
Nýbrž vy křivdu činíte, a k škodě přivodíte, a to bratří své.
9 Have you not known that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
Zdaliž nevíte, že nespravedliví dědictví království Božího nedosáhnou? Nemylte se, ani smilníci, ani modláři, ani cizoložníci, ani měkcí, ani samcoložníci,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
Ani zloději, ani lakomci, ani opilci, ani zlolejci, ani dráči dědictví království Božího nedůjdou.
11 And certain of you were these! But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
A takoví jste někteří byli, ale obmyti jste, ale posvěceni jste, ale ospravedlněni jste ve jménu Pána Jezukrista a skrze Ducha Boha našeho.
12 All things are lawful to me, but all things are not profitable; all things are lawful to me, but I will not be under authority by any;
Všecko mi sluší, ale ne všecko prospívá; všecko mi sluší, ale jáť žádné z těch věcí v moc nebudu podmaněn.
13 the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God will make useless both this and these; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body;
Pokrmové břichu, a břicho pokrmům; Bůh pak i břicho i pokrmy zkazí. Ale tělo ne smilstvu, ale Pánu, a Pán tělu.
14 and God raised both the LORD, and will raise us up through His power.
Bůh pak i Pána vzkřísil, i nás také vzkřísí mocí svou.
15 Have you not known that your bodies are members of Christ? Having taken, then, the members of the Christ, will I make [them] members of a prostitute? Let it not be!
Nevíte-liž, že těla vaše jsou oudové Kristovi? Což tedy vezma oudy Kristovy, učiním je oudy nevěstky? Odstup to.
16 Have you not known that he who is joined to the prostitute is one body? For it says, “The two will be into one flesh.”
Zdaliž nevíte, že kdož se připojuje k nevěstce, jedno tělo jest s ní? Nebo dí: Budou dva jedno tělo.
17 And he who is joined to the LORD is one spirit;
Ten pak, kdož se připojuje Pánu, jeden duch jest s ním.
18 flee the whoredom; every sin—whatever a man may commit—is outside the body, and he who is committing whoredom sins against his own body.
Utíkejte smilstva. Všeliký hřích, kterýžkoli učinil by člověk, kromě těla jest, ale kdož smilní, ten proti svému vlastnímu tělu hřeší.
19 Have you not known that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own,
Zdaliž nevíte, že tělo vaše jest chrám Ducha svatého v vás? Kteréhož máte od Boha, a nejste sami svoji.
20 for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Nebo koupeni jste za mzdu. Oslavujtež tedy Boha tělem svým i duchem svým, kteréžto věci Boží jsou.
