< 1 Corinthians 4 >
1 Let a man so reckon us as officers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God,
Sen loong ah ih seng ah Kristo laksuh ngeh ih samthun etheng, o suh Rangte ih amiisak tiit ah husah ni jatthuk ha rah ah.
2 and as to the rest, it is required in the stewards that one may be found faithful,
Erah likhiik laksuh rah ih heh changte suh jisiit noisokjih ah langla heh suh tuumaangla tiit ah.
3 and to me it is for a very little thing that by you I may be judged, or by man’s Day, but I do not even judge myself,
Amadoh, sen ih dande he bah uh, o mina ih dande hang bah uh, tasootsaam kang; ngah ih nga teeteewah botse tadande kang.
4 for I have been conscious of nothing for myself, but I have not been declared right in this—and He who is discerning me is the LORD:
Nga thung abah seklilih, enoothong erah thung ah ih amiidi ngah toongtang ngeh ih tadanjat thukrang. Teesu ih juuba nga jen danjat hang.
5 so, then, judge nothing before the time, until the LORD may come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of the darkness, and will reveal the counsels of the hearts, and then the praise will come to each from God.
Erah raangtaan ih saapoot maang thok ra doh o uh ladande theng. Teesu maang raara doh ladande theng; Heh ih rangnak ni huthiinha loong ah rangwu nah thoksiit ha eno mina tenthun ah wuusa nah noisok ah. Eno erah doh o mina epun ah warep ah Rangte ih phoongpha eh ah.
6 And these things, brothers, I transferred to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us you may learn not to think above that which has been written, that you may not be puffed up one for one against the other,
Joon awaan loong, sen loong raangtaan ih, Apollo seknyi ih, nyootsok theng toom ang ah ngeh ih reeli tih, eno sen ih arah tiitthaak, [Banlam ah naririh ih kap theng” erah tiimsuh liiha erah toomjat an suh ah. Sen loong ah o damdoh uh lakhuupook theng nyia o uh lakaanju theng.
7 for who makes you to differ? And what do you have, that you did not receive? And if you also received, why do you glory as not having received?
Wahoh nang ih elong sen o ih thiik halan? Sen suh tiim jeela erah Rangte in tatam koh tahan? Heh ih kotahan bah, ranglakkot lah angka likhiik ih mamah mi khuupook lu?
8 Already you are having been filled, already you were rich, apart from us you reigned, and I also wish you reigned, that we also may reign together with you,
Sen ih tiim jamhan jirep ah chotam eh tan? Sen changteng tam hoonlan? Seng lah angke bah uh, sen luuwang tam eh hoonlan? Ngah ih uh sen loong ah luuwang eh hoon dobah ese angtheng ta ngeh ih samthun hang, tiimnge liidoh seng uh sen damdoh luuwang ih roonghoon suh ah.
9 for I think that God set forth us the apostles last—as appointed to death, because we became a spectacle to the world, and messengers, and men;
Enoothong nga maang kaadi bah Rangte ih seng kaamwah loong abah lithoon ni tongthuk hali, o mongrep rangsah loong nyia mina loong ngathong ni mina etek ih thuksuh kanoisok arah likhiik ah.
10 we [are] fools because of Christ, and you wise in Christ; we [are] ailing, and you strong; you glorious, and we dishonored;
Kristo raang ih bah Seng loong ah thungko; enoothong sen loong ah Kristo mendi jatwah ih hoon lan! Seng loong abah naangtek eli; sen loong ah loochaan! Seng loong ah thaangju ih hali, enoothong sen loong abah choomjoot ih halan!
11 to the present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are battered, and wander,
Amadi uh seng bah ramtek khamle angli seng ih nyutu khattu kap hi, seng bah bot ethom ih hali; nokmuh pungmuh thaapnya eno tumkhoomli;
12 and labor, working with [our] own hands; being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;
Seng mootkaat echaan ni naangti li. Mih ih tam eh hali, seng ih romse tamkoh hi; mih ih siiwi ih hali, seng ih naan ehi;
13 being spoken evil of, we plead; we became as filth of the world—of all things an outcast—until now.
mih ih thaangju ih hali, jengse ba ngaakra hi. Seng bah amadi uh arah mongrep dowa esot eruh nang eju esot; adoleh esot eruh haat ha hah likhiik ih hoonli!
14 Not [as] putting you to shame do I write these things, but I admonish as my beloved children,
Sen suh, ngah ih arah le raanghang ah sen rakrek thuksuh tah raangkang, nga sumi sami ngeh ih sen renbaat suh raanghang.
15 for if a myriad of child-conductors you may have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus, through the good news, I begot you;
Kristaan roidong doh sen renbaatte hajaat asih je abah uh, sen wah esiit luulu. Tiimnge liidi, Jisu Kristo mendi ngah ih Ruurang Ese tiit ah thok hui hangno sen roidong di sen wah ih hoon lang.
16 I call on you, therefore, become followers of me;
Erah raangtaan ih sen uh nga likhiik eh ang an ngeh ih baatrum hala.
17 because of this I sent to you Timotheus, who is my child, beloved and faithful in the LORD, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, according as everywhere in every assembly I teach.
Erah thoidi sen reeni Timothi wangthuk halang, Kristaan roidong di heh nga laalom theng nyia nga mongnook sah. Nga roidong di Jisu Kristo damdi mamah ih angtang nyia chaas rookwet ni mamah nyootsoot tang erah heh ih samthun thuk han.
18 And some were puffed up as if I were not coming to you;
Sen loong dowa mararah ah khuupook elan nyia ekhat elan sen ih samthun han ngah sen taangnah taheh kadongkhoom korang ngeh ah.
19 but I will come quickly to you, if the LORD may will, and I will not know the word of those puffed up, but the power;
Enoothong Teesu mongtham ang abah ngah kharok ih wanghang, eno engaam ete mina loong jengkhaap luulu lah angthang ih nengchaan nengphaan uh eradoh jat ang.
20 for not in word is the Kingdom of God, but in power.
Tiimnge liidi Rangte Hasong ah jengkhaap ni luulu tah angka hechaan hephaan nep je ah.
21 What do you wish? Will I come to you with a rod, or in love, also with a spirit of meekness?
Sen ih marah ah seechoh han? Bot ethom esuh tamwang hang, tam aleh mongnook moong achaang nyia minchan hui wan hang?
