< 1 Corinthians 3 >
1 And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly—as to babies in Christ;
Nhune, vakuulu na vanuna vango, nanilyajovile numue heene vana Mhepo, loi ndavule avaana m'biili. Ghwene avaana avadebe ava Kilisite.
2 with milk I fed you, and not with meat, for you were not yet able, but not even yet are you now able,
Nilyavanywisisie utusiva ni nyama, ulwakuva namukiling'anisie kulia inyama. Nambe lino namuling'anisie.
3 for yet you are fleshly, for where [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not fleshly, and walk in the manner of men?
Ulwakuva umue namulim'bili. Ulwakuva ikilule namatupa ghavonike mulyumwue. Vuuli, namukukala kuling'ana nu m'bili, vuuli, namughenda ndavule vulevule vwa kimuunhu.
4 For when one may say, “I, indeed, am of Paul,” and another, “I—of Apollos,” are you not fleshly?
Ulwakuva umuunhu jumo iiti, “Nikum'bingilila u Paulo” Ujunge iiti “Nikum'bingilila u Apolo,” namukukala ndavule avaanhu?
5 Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but servants through whom you believed, and to each as the LORD gave?
U Apolo ghwe veeni? nu Paulo ghwe veeni? Avavombili vajuula juno mumwitike, kwa ghweni juno u Mutwa akam'pelile imbombo.
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth;
Une nilyavyalile, U Apolo akaponia amalenga looli u Nguluve akakusia.
7 so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth—God;
Pa uluo, nakwekuuti juno akavyalile nambe juno alyaponisie amalenga alinikimonga. Looli ghwe Nguluve juno ikusia.
8 and he who is planting and he who is watering are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor,
Lino juno avalile najuno ikwusilila amalenga vooni valing'ine, najula juno ikwupilagha uluhombo lwa mwene kuling'ana nhi mbombo jamwene.
9 for we are fellow-workmen of God; you are God’s tillage, God’s building.
Ulwakuva usue tulivavomba mbombo va Nguluve, umwue muli bustani ja Nguluve, lijengo lya Nguluve.
10 According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid a foundation, and another builds on [it],
Kuhumilanila nulusungu lwa Nguluve luno nikapelilue heene n'jengaji um'baha, nilyavikile ulwalo, nujunge ijenga pakyanya pa lwene. Looli umuunhu ilolelelaghe ndavule ijenga.
11 for no one is able to lay another foundation except that which is laid, which is Jesus the Christ;
Ulwakuva nakwaele ujunge juno kwandebijenga ulwalo ulunge kukila luno lujengilue, luno ghwe Yesu Kilisite.
12 and if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
1Lino, ndavule un'jinu ghwinu ijenga pakyanya ni sahabu, ni ndalama, namavue gha lutogo, amapiki amasoli, nambe amatundu,
13 the work will become visible of each, for the day will declare [it], because it is revealed in fire, and the work of each, what kind it is, the fire will prove;
imbombo ja mwene jilya fwikulilue, kulumuli lwa pamwisi jifwikuluagha. Ulwakuva jilifwikulivua nu mwoto. Umwoto ghuli ghelagha uvunono vwa mbombo jino umuunhu ghweni akajivombile.
14 if the work of anyone remains that he built on [it], he will receive a wage;
Ndavule kyoni kino umuunhu ajangile kisighalila umwene ilikwupilagha uluvonolo.
15 if the work of any is burned up, he will suffer loss, but himself will be saved, but so as through fire.
Looli imbombo ja muunhu jingalanguke nu mwooto, naikwambulila kiinu. Looli umwene jujuo ipokuagha, ndavule kusena ku mwotoo
16 Have you not known that you are a temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Namukagula kuuti umue mulinyumba nyimik ja kufunnyila ja Nguluve nakuuti Mhepo ghwa Nguluve ikukala mun'kate mulyumue?
17 If anyone ruins the temple of God, God will ruin him; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.
Nave umuunhu angananganie inyumba inyumba ija kufunyila ija Nguluve, u Nguluve ikumunangania umuunhu ujuo. Ulwakuva inyumba inyimike jakufunyila ija Nguluve nyimike, pauluo najumue.
18 Let no one deceive himself; if anyone seems to be wise among you in this age—let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn )
Umuunhu alisyangile mwene, nave jumonga n'kaate mulyumue isaagha kuuti alinuluhala kumasiki agha, avisaghe hweene “N'jasu” apuo peiva nuluhala. (aiōn )
19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it has been written: “Who is taking the wise in their craftiness”;
Ulwakuva uluhala lwa mu iisi iji vuyasu pavulongolo pa Nguluve, ulwakuva jilembilue, “Vikolua avanyaluhala nuvuvesi vuvanave”
20 and again, “The LORD knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.”
Kange u Nguluve akagwile amasaghe gha vanyaluhala palivuvule.”
21 So then, let no one glory in men, for all things are yours,
Apuo umuunhu nalighiniagha avaanhu! Ulwakuva ifiinu fyoni fiinhu.
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things about to be—all are yours,
Nave ghwe Paulo, nambe u Apolo, nambe u Kefa, nambe iisi, nambe amikalile, nambe vufue, nambe ifinu fino pwefile, nambe fino filyava. Fyooni fiinhu,
23 and you [are] Christ’s, and Christ [is] God’s.
Umue mulivakilite va Nguluve.
