< 1 Corinthians 3 >
1 And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly—as to babies in Christ;
Achalongo achinjangu, uneji nganiŵecheta nomwe mpela ŵandu ŵakulongoswa ni Mbumu jwa Akunnungu nambo naŵechete ni ŵanyamwe mpela ŵandu ŵa pachilambo pa nti twanache mu kwakulupilila Kilisito.
2 with milk I fed you, and not with meat, for you were not yet able, but not even yet are you now able,
Nang'wesisye maŵele, ngaŵa yakulya yakulimba, pakuŵa nganinkombola kulya, namose sambano ngankupakombola kulya.
3 for yet you are fleshly, for where [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not fleshly, and walk in the manner of men?
Pakuŵa ŵanyamwe chiŵela nkutama mpela ŵandu ŵa pa chilambo yakuti pakutama. Uli pasikati jenu nganiupagwa wiu ni utinda? Yele yose ikulosya kuti ŵanyamwe chiŵela nli ŵandu ŵa chilambo chino, ni ŵanyamwe nkutama mpela chilambo ichikuti pakusaka.
4 For when one may say, “I, indeed, am of Paul,” and another, “I—of Apollos,” are you not fleshly?
Jumo jwenu pakuti, “Une ngwakuya che Paolo,” ni jwine asalaga, “Une ngwakuya che Apolo,” uli ngankutenda mpela ŵandu ŵa pa chilambo yakuti pakutenda?
5 Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but servants through whom you believed, and to each as the LORD gave?
Ana che Apolo ali ŵaani? Ni che Paolo ali ŵaani? Uweji tuli achikatumetume ŵa Akunnungu utukunnyichisya chikulupi. Jwalijose apanganyisye masengo gapegwilwe ni Ambuje.
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth;
Une napandile mbeju ni che Apolo ŵajitilile meesi nambo Akunnungu ni uŵajimelesye.
7 so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth—God;
Nambo ŵapandile ngaŵa chindu sooni ŵajitilile meesi ngaŵa chindu nambo Akunnungu pe ŵaŵajimelesye mbeju ali jwankulu.
8 and he who is planting and he who is watering are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor,
Mundu juŵapandile ni juŵajitilile meesi wose ali yalumo ni Akunnungu chachimpa jwalijose mbote jakwe malinga ni masengo gakwe gapangenye.
9 for we are fellow-workmen of God; you are God’s tillage, God’s building.
Pakuŵa uwe wose tuli achikatumetume ŵa Akunnungu, ŵanyamwe nli ngunda wa Akunnungu, iyoyo nli nyuumba ja Akunnungu.
10 According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid a foundation, and another builds on [it],
Kwa ligongo lya umbone wa Akunnungu ambele masengo, misile nsingi mpela jwakutaŵa jwambone yakuti kukolosya, ni mundu jwine akutaŵa pachanya pakwe. Nambo jwalijose jwakutaŵa alilolechesye yakuti pakutaŵa pachanya pakwe.
11 for no one is able to lay another foundation except that which is laid, which is Jesus the Christ;
Pakuŵa ngapagwa mundu jwakupakombola kuŵika nsingi wine kupunda aula wemale kuŵichikwa, yaani Che Yesu Kilisito.
12 and if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
Pachanya nsingi wo mundu akukombola kutaŵa kwa sahabu pane kwa feza pane kwa maganga ga ntengo wekulungwa pane kwa itela pane kwa manyasi pane kwa masamba.
13 the work will become visible of each, for the day will declare [it], because it is revealed in fire, and the work of each, what kind it is, the fire will prove;
Usalale wa masengo ga mundu jwalijose chiuwoneche ni kuŵichikwa pangasisika, pa lyuŵa litaiche Kilisito kukwalamula ŵandu. Pakuŵa pa lyuŵa lyo, mooto chiuunukule masengo ga kila mundu ni wele mooto chiulinje umbone wa masengo ga mundu jwalijose ni kulosya iŵaga gali gakusalala.
14 if the work of anyone remains that he built on [it], he will receive a wage;
Iŵaga chataŵile mundu pachanya pa nsingi wo ngachipya kwa mooto wo, mundu jo chapochele ntulilo.
15 if the work of any is burned up, he will suffer loss, but himself will be saved, but so as through fire.
Iŵaga chataŵile cho chichipye, nipele mundu jo ngaapata ntulilo wao, nambo nsyene jo chakulupuswe mpela ila apokweche pa mooto.
16 Have you not known that you are a temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Ana ngankumanyilila kuti ŵanyamwe nli Nyuumba ja Akunnungu ni kuti Mbumu jwa Akunnungu akutama nkati mwenu?
17 If anyone ruins the temple of God, God will ruin him; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.
Nipele naga mundu akujijonanga Nyuumba ja Akunnungu, nombe Akunnungu chanjonanje mundu jo. Pakuŵa Nyuumba ja Akunnungu jili jeswela, ni ŵanyamwe nli Nyuumba jo.
18 Let no one deceive himself; if anyone seems to be wise among you in this age—let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn )
Mundu jwalijose akalilambusya nsyene, iŵaga mundu mwa ŵanyamwe akuliganisya kuti ali ni lunda lwa chilambo chino, mbaya aŵeje jwakuloŵela kuti akole ni lunda lusyene. (aiōn )
19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it has been written: “Who is taking the wise in their craftiness”;
Pakuŵa lunda lwa chilambo chino luli uloŵelo paujo pa Akunnungu pakuŵa ilembekwe Mmalembelo Gamaswela, “Akunnungu akwatanjisya ŵandu ŵaali ni lunda mu ukalamuche wao.”
20 and again, “The LORD knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.”
Ni sooni ilembekwe Mmalembelo Gamaswela, “Ambuje akusimanyilila nganisyo sya ŵandu ŵaali ni lunda lwa pachilambo kuti syangali chindu.”
21 So then, let no one glory in men, for all things are yours,
Pele mundu jwalijose ngasalilapila ŵandu. Pakuŵa indu yose ili yenu ŵanyamwe.
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things about to be—all are yours,
Aŵaga che Paolo pane che Apolo pane che Kefa pane chilambo pane umi pane chiwa pane katema ka sambano pane katema kakakwika, yoseyo ili yenu ŵanyamwe,
23 and you [are] Christ’s, and Christ [is] God’s.
ni ŵanyamwe nli ŵandu ŵa Kilisito ni Kilisito ali ŵa Akunnungu.
