1 Corinthians 15
1 And I make known to you, brothers, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you also received, in which you also have stood,
Eszetekbe juttatom továbbá, atyámfiai, az evangyéliomot, melyet hirdettem néktek, melyet be is vettetek, melyben állotok is,
2 through which you are also being saved, if you hold fast [to] the word—what I proclaimed as good news to you—unless you believed in vain.
A mely által üdvözültök is, ha megtartjátok, a minémű beszéddel hirdettem néktek, hacsak nem hiába lettetek hívőkké.
3 For I delivered to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Writings,
Mert azt adtam előtökbe főképen, a mit én is úgy vettem, hogy a Krisztus meghalt a mi bűneinkért az írások szerint;
4 and that He was buried, and that He has risen on the third day according to the Writings,
És hogy eltemettetett; és hogy feltámadott a harmadik napon az írások szerint;
5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve,
És hogy megjelent Kéfásnak; azután a tizenkettőnek;
6 afterward He appeared to above five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, and some also fell asleep;
Azután megjelent több mint ötszáz atyafinak egyszerre, kik közül a legtöbben mind máig élnek, némelyek azonban el is aludtak;
7 afterward He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
Azután megjelent Jakabnak; azután mind az apostoloknak;
8 And last of all—as to the untimely birth—He also appeared to me,
Legutolszor pedig mindenek között, mint egy idétlennek, nékem is megjelent.
9 for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Assembly of God,
Mert én vagyok a legkisebb az apostolok között, ki nem vagyok méltó, hogy apostolnak neveztessem, mert háborgattam az Istennek anyaszentegyházát.
10 and by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace that [is] toward me did not come in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God that [is] with me;
De Isten kegyelme által vagyok, a mi vagyok; és az ő hozzám való kegyelme nem lőn hiábavaló; sőt többet munkálkodtam, mint azok mindnyájan de nem én, hanem az Istennek velem való kegyelme.
11 whether, then, I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
Akár én azért, akár azok, így prédikálunk, és így lettetek ti hívőkké.
12 And if Christ is preached, that He has risen out of the dead, how [do] certain among you say that there is no resurrection of [the] dead?
Ha azért Krisztusról hirdettetik, hogy a halottak közül feltámadott, mimódon mondják némelyek ti köztetek, hogy nincsen halottak feltámadása?
13 And if there is no resurrection of [the] dead, neither has Christ risen;
Mert ha nincsen halottak feltámadása, akkor Krisztus sem támadott fel.
14 and if Christ has not risen, then our preaching [is] void, and your faith [is] also void,
Ha pedig Krisztus fel nem támadott, akkor hiábavaló a mi prédikálásunk, de hiábavaló a ti hitetek is.
15 and we are also found [to be] false witnesses of God, because we testified of God that He raised up the Christ, whom He did not raise if then dead persons do not rise;
Sőt az Isten hamis bizonyságtevőinek is találtatunk, mivelhogy az Isten felől bizonyságot tettünk, hogy feltámasztotta a Krisztust; a kit nem támasztott fel, ha csakugyan nem támadnak fel a halottak.
16 for if dead persons do not rise, neither has Christ risen,
Mert ha a halottak fel nem támadnak, a Krisztus sem támadott fel.
17 and if Christ has not risen, your faith is vain, you are yet in your sins;
Ha pedig a Krisztus fel nem támadott, hiábavaló a ti hitetek; még bűneitekben vagytok.
18 then, also, those having fallen asleep in Christ perished;
A kik a Krisztusban elaludtak, azok is elvesztek tehát.
19 if we only have hope in Christ in this life, we are to be most pitied of all men.
Ha csak ebben az életben reménykedünk a Krisztusban, minden embernél nyomorultabbak vagyunk.
20 And now, Christ has risen out of the dead—He became the first-fruits of those sleeping,
Ámde Krisztus feltámadott a halottak közül, zsengéjök lőn azoknak, kik elaludtak.
21 for since through man [is] death, also through Man [is] a resurrection of the dead,
Miután ugyanis ember által van a halál, szintén ember által van a halottak feltámadása is.
22 for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all will be made alive,
Mert a miképen Ádámban mindnyájan meghalnak, azonképen a Krisztusban is mindnyájan megeleveníttetnek.
23 and each in his proper order: Christ, a first-fruit, afterward those who are the Christ’s in His coming,
Mindenki pedig a maga rendje szerint. Első zsenge a Krisztus; azután a kik a Krisztuséi, az ő eljövetelekor.
24 then—the end, when He may deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He may have made all rule useless, and all authority and power.
Aztán a vég, mikor átadja az országot az Istennek és Atyának; a mikor eltöröl minden birodalmat és minden hatalmat és erőt.
25 For it is necessary for Him to reign until He may have put all the enemies under His feet.
Mert addig kell néki uralkodnia, mígnem ellenségeit mind lábai alá veti.
26 The last enemy is done away with—death.
Mint utolsó ellenség töröltetik el a halál.
27 For He put all things under His feet, and when one may say that all things have been subjected, [it is] evident that He is excepted who subjected all things to Him,
Mert mindent az ő lábai alá vetett. Mikor pedig azt mondja, hogy minden alája van vetve, nyilvánvaló, hogy azon kívül, a ki neki mindent alávetett.
28 and when all things may be subjected to Him, then also the Son Himself will be subject to Him, who subjected to Him all things, that God may be the all in all.
Mikor pedig minden alája vettetett, akkor maga a Fiú is alávettetik annak, a ki neki mindent alávetett, hogy az Isten legyen minden mindenben.
29 Seeing what will they do who are immersed for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why are they also immersed for the dead?
Különben mit cselekesznek azok, a kik a halottakért keresztelkednek meg, a halottak teljességgel nem támadnak fel? Miért is keresztelkednek meg a halottakért?
30 Why do we also stand in peril every hour?
Mi is miért veszélyeztetjük magunkat minden pillanatban?
31 I die every day, by the glorying of you that I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Naponként halál révén állok. A veletek való dicsekedésre mondom, mely van nékem a Krisztus Jézusban a mi Urunkban.
32 If I fought with wild beasts in Ephesus after the manner of a man, what [is] the advantage to me if the dead do not rise? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!
Ha csak emberi módon viaskodtam Efézusban a fenevadakkal, mi a hasznom abból, ha a halottak fel nem támadnak? Együnk és igyunk, holnap úgyis meghalunk!
33 Do not be led astray; evil communications corrupt good manners;
Ne tévelyegjetek. Jó erkölcsöt megrontanak gonosz társaságok.
34 wake up, as is right, and do not sin; for some have an ignorance of God; I say [it] to you for shame.
Serkenjetek fel igazán és ne vétkezzetek; mert némelyek nem ismerik Istent; megszégyenítéstekre mondom.
35 But someone will say, “How do the dead rise?”
De mondhatná valaki: Mi módon támadnak fel a halottak? és minémű testtel jönnek ki?
36 Unwise! You—what you sow is not quickened except it may die;
Balgatag! a mit te vetsz, nem elevenedik meg, hanemha megrothadánd.
37 and that which you sow, you do not sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, it may be of wheat, or of someone of the others,
És abban, a mit elvetsz, nem azt a testet veted el, a mely majd kikél, hanem puszta magot, talán búzáét, vagy más egyébét.
38 and God gives a body to it according as He willed, and its proper body to each of the seeds.
Az Isten pedig testet ád annak, a mint akarta, és pedig mindenféle magnak az ő saját testét.
39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of birds;
Nem minden test azon egy test, hanem más az embereknek teste, más a barmoknak teste, más a halaké, más a madaraké.
40 and [there are] heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; but one [is] the glory of the heavenly, and another that of the earthly;
És vannak mennyei testek és földi testek; de más a mennyeiek dicsősége, más a földieké.
41 one glory of sun, and another glory of moon, and another glory of stars, for star differs from star in glory.
Más a napnak dicsősége és más a holdnak dicsősége és más a csillagok dicsősége; mert csillag a csillagtól különbözik dicsőségre nézve.
42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead: it is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;
Épenígy a halottak feltámadása is. Elvettetik romlandóságban, feltámasztatik romolhatatlanságban;
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
Elvettetik gyalázatosságban, feltámasztatik dicsőségben; elvettetik erőtelenségben, feltámasztatik erőben.
44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body;
Elvettetik érzéki test, feltámasztatik lelki test. Van érzéki test, és van lelki test is.
45 so also it has been written: “The first man Adam became a living creature,” the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,
Így is van megírva: Lőn az első ember, Ádám, élő lélekké; az utolsó Ádám megelevenítő szellemmé.
46 but that which is spiritual [is] not first, but that which [was] natural, afterward that which [is] spiritual.
De nem a lelki az első, hanem az érzéki, azután a lelki.
47 The first man [is] out of the earth—earthly; the second Man [is] the LORD out of Heaven;
Az első ember földből való, földi; a második ember, az Úr, mennyből való.
48 as [is] the earthly, such [are] also the earthly; and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] also the heavenly;
A milyen ama földi, olyanok a földiek is; és a milyen ama mennyei, olyanok a mennyeiek is.
49 and according as we bore the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
És a miképen hordtuk a földinek ábrázatját, hordani fogjuk a mennyeinek ábrázatját is.
50 And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the corruption inherit the incorruption.
Azt pedig állítom atyámfiai, hogy test és vér nem örökölheti Isten országát, sem a romlandóság nem örökli a romolhatatlanságot.
51 Behold, I tell you a secret: we indeed will not all sleep, but we will all be changed;
Ímé titkot mondok néktek. Mindnyájan ugyan nem aluszunk el, de mindnyájan elváltozunk.
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed;
Nagy hirtelen, egy szempillantásban, az utolsó trombitaszóra; mert trombita fog szólni, és a halottak feltámadnak romolhatatlanságban, és mi elváltozunk.
53 for it is necessary for this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality;
Mert szükség, hogy ez a romlandó test romolhatatlanságot öltsön magára, és e halandó test halhatatlanságot öltsön magára.
54 and when this corruptible may have put on incorruption, and this mortal may have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the word that has been written: “Death was swallowed up—to victory;
Mikor pedig ez a romlandó test romolhatatlanságba öltözik, és e halandó halhatatlanságba öltözik, akkor beteljesül amaz ige, mely meg vagyon írva: Elnyeletett a halál diadalra.
Halál! hol a te fullánkod? Pokol! hol a te diadalmad? (Hadēs g86)
56 And the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the Law;
A halál fullánkja pedig a bűn; a bűn ereje pedig a törvény.
57 and to God—thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;
De hála az Istennek, a ki a diadalmat adja nékünk a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus által.
58 so that, my beloved brothers, become steadfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the LORD at all times, knowing that your labor in the LORD is not vain.
Azért szerelmes atyámfiai erősen álljatok, mozdíthatatlanul, buzgólkodván az Úrnak dolgában mindenkor, tudván, hogy a ti munkátok nem hiábavaló az Úrban.
