< 1 Corinthians 12 >
1 And concerning the spiritual things, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant;
Ataala azipego zyamuuya, nobakwesu, nsiyandi kuti mubule luzibo.
2 you have known that you were nations, being carried away as you were led to the mute idols;
Mulizizi kuti nimwakatali kusyoma Mwami Leza, mwakali kwenzegwa munzila ziswekede kumituni yakatali kwambul, munzila kufumbwa nzemwakali kwenzegwa aazyo.
3 for this reason, I give you to understand that no one, speaking in the Spirit of God, says Jesus [is] accursed, and no one is able to say Jesus [is] LORD, except in the Holy Spirit.
Aboobo njanda kuti muzibe kuti takwe muntu uwambuzigwa a Muuya wa Leza ukonzya kwamba kuti, “Jesu mutuke.” Takwe ukonzya kwamba kuti “Jesu Mwami,” ado Muuya Uusalala.
4 And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;
Lino kuli zipego zisiyene, pesi Muuya ngumwi.
5 and there are diversities of ministries, and the same Lord;
Kuli milimo isiyene siyene, pesi Mwami ngonguwe,
6 and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God—who is working all in all.
alubo kuli kwaandana kwamisyobo yamilimu, pesi nonguwe Leza ubeleka zyonse muli zyonse.
7 And to each has been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;
Lino kuli umwi awumwi kulipedwe chimo cha Muuya kuti kugwasigwe boonse.
8 for to one through the Spirit has been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
Nkambo kuli pedwe ku Muuya ijwi lyabusongo, mpawo kuli umwi ijwi lyaluzibo a Muuya omwe.
9 and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;
Kuli umwi kuli pedwe lusyomo anguwo Muuya, alimwi kuli umwizipo zyakuponesya anguwo Muuya omwe.
10 and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another [various] kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:
Kuli umwi kuli pedwe milimu yakuchita zigambyo, mpawo kuli umwi businsimi. Kuli umwi ulipedwe kukonzya kusiyanisya misyobo yandimi, mpawo kuli umwi kupandululwa kwandimi.
11 and the one and the same Spirit works all these, dividing to each individually as He intends.
Eezi zyoonse milimu ya Muuya omwe biyo, kupa zipego kuli umwi awumwi, mbuli mbwasala.
12 For even as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ,
Nkambo mubili mbuli umwi mpawo nkujisi zizo zyiingi mpawo zizo zyonse ezi nzyamubili omwe, mbuboobo mbukubede a Kkilisito.
13 for also in one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether servants or freemen, and all were made to drink one Spirit,
Nkambo a Muuya omwe twaka bbabbatizigwa mumubili omwe, nibaba ba Juda nanka ba Giliki nibaba bazike na balubusi, aawo bonse bakachitwa kuti banywe ku Muuya omwe.
14 for also the body is not one member, but many.
Nkambo mubili teensi chizo chomwe pe, pesi nzyiingi.
15 If the foot may say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
Ikuti kuulu kwati, “Nkambo kakuti nsili mutwe, aboobo nsilichizo chamubili,” tensi nchimpanzi chinini pe chamubili.
16 And if the ear may say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
Na kuti ikutwii kwamba kuti, “Nkambo kakuti nsili linso, nsilichimpanzi chamubili,” tensi nchinini pe chamubili.
17 If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? If the whole hearing, where the smelling?
Ikuti mubili woonse lyaba linso, chimpanzi chakumvwa chilazwayi? Kuti mubili wonse kakuba kutwi, chimpanzi chakumvwabwema chalikuno zwayi?
18 And now, God set the members, each one of them in the body, according as He willed,
Pesi Leza wakabika chimpanzi chimwi achimwi chamubili mbuli mbwakayanda.
19 and if all were one member, where [is] the body?
Kaansinga kaziba chimpanzi chomwe, mubili nulikuli?
20 And now, indeed, [are] many members, but one body;
Aboobo linobu kuli zimpanzi zyiingi, pesi mubili ngumwi biyo.
21 and an eye is not able to say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
Ilinso talikonzyi kwamba kuti kukuboko, “Nsikwe mupundulo anduwe.” Nanka mutwe kuti utedi kumawulu, “Nsikwe mupundulo anduwe.”
22 But much more the members of the body seeming to be weaker are necessary,
Pesi zimpanzi zyamubili zilangika kukompama azilazyo zilamulimo,
23 and those that we think to be less honorable of the body, around these we put more abundant honor, and our unseemly things have more abundant seemliness,
alimwi azimwi zipanzi nzituyeyela kuti tazilemekwi, tuzipe bulemu bupati, aboobo bamwi besu batakwe chiiwa chitambulika babe abulemu bwini.
24 and our seemly things have no need; but God tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to the lacking part,
Lino bamwi besu balachiwa chitambulika tabakwe ziyandisyo zilobu. Kwindilila, Leza wakachita mubili, nkapa bulemu bupati kuzimpanzi zitakwaabo.
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same anxiety for one another,
Wakachita ezi kuchitila kuti kutabi kwaanzana mumubili, pesi kuti zimpanzi eezi zigwasyanie amaboneno ayelene.
26 and whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with [it], or one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with [it];
Kuti na chimwi chimpanzi chaba epenzi, zyonse ina zyabamupenzi; na chimwi chalemekwa, zyoonse zimpanzi zilabotelwa antomwe.
27 and you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Lino muli mubili wa Kkilisito elyo umwi awumwi nchimpanzi chawo.
28 And some, indeed, God set in the Assembly: first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, afterward powers, afterward gifts of healings, helpings, governings, various kinds of tongues.
Alimwi Leza wakabikka muchikombelo lutanzi batumwa, bachibili mbasinsimi, bachitatu mbayiisyi, mpawo ababo bachita maleele, mpawo zipo zyakuponia, abaabo bagwasizya bamwi abo bachita milimu yabwendelezi, abaabo baala misyobo myiingi yendimi.
29 [Are] all apostles? [Are] all prophets? [Are] all teachers? [Are] all powers?
Boonse mbatumwa na? Mbasinsimi na boonse? Bonse mbayiisyi na? Bonse bachita maleele na? Bonse bachita milimu igambya na?
30 [Do] all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Boonse balazipego zyakuponia na? Bonse baambula myaambo na? Bonse bala pandulula na myaambo?
31 And earnestly desire the better gifts; and yet I show to you a far [more] excelling way:
Musungwalile kuyandula zipego zipati. Pesi ndiyomutondezya inzila imbotu loko.
