< 1 Corinthians 1 >

1 Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Sosthenes the brother,
Mini polo, U Tienu n den yini yua kelima o yanbuama po ke min tua Jesu kilisiti tondo n taani leni ti kpiilo Sositena
2 to the Assembly of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called holy ones, with all those calling on the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place—both theirs and ours:
Ki diani li tili U Tienu n yini yaaba, yaaba n ye kolinta dogu nni po. O den gagidi ki Hanbi yi Jesu Kilisiti nni, ke yin ya tie o nigagidihanba. N fuondi yi leni yaaba n jaandi ki miadi ti Dieodo Jesu kilisiti i kaani kuli, wani yua tie bi Diedo leni ti ya Diedo.
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Ti baa U Tienu leni o Diedo Jesu kilisiti n pa yi li hanbili leni mi yanduama.
4 I give thanks to my God always concerning you for the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus,
Yogunu kuli n tuondi U T ienu yipo kelima yin baa ya hanbili o kani Jesu Kilisiti nni.
5 that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all discourse and all knowledge,
6 according as the testimony of the Christ was confirmed in you,
7 so that you are not behind in any gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Yeni U Tienu paabu kuli siiga, ban bonyenbu ki poadi yipo yin gu ke U Tienu baa doagidi ti Diedo Jesu kilisiti yaa yogunu.
8 who also will confirm you to the end—unblamable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ;
9 faithful [is] God, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
U Tienu tie tin fidi ki dugi yua yaapo, wani yua n den yini yi ke yin ya pia yanyenma leni o Bijua Jesu kilisiti ti Diedo.
10 And I call on you, brothers, through the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the same thing you may all say, and there may not be divisions among you, and you may be perfected in the same mind, and in the same judgment,
N kpiiba, n mia yi ki tundi yi kelima ti Diedo Jesu kilisiti yeli po ke yi kuli n ya mani leni yiyaba, ke paadimaba kuli n da ya ye yi siiga, ke yin ya taa yenma yi yantiana leni yi yanjaga kuli nni.
11 for it was signified to me concerning you, my brothers, by those of Chloe, that contentions are among you;
N kpiiba, Kilowe diegu yaaba dan waani nni ke mi niama ye yi siiga.
12 and I say this, that each one of you says, “I, indeed, am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.”
Min bagi yaala tie yi siiga one Tua: “Mini wani hua Polo,” one “Mini wani hua apolosa,”one: “mini wani n hua sefa,” one mo: “Mini wani n hua kilisiti.”
13 Has the Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you immersed into the name of Paul?
14 I give thanks to God that I immersed no one of you, except Crispus and Gaius—
N tuondi U Tienu ke mii den batisi yi siiga obakuli, kali kilisipusa leni gayusa.
15 that no one may say that to my own name I immersed;
Lanwani oba kuli kan yedi ke bi den batisi o mini ya yeli nni.
16 and I also immersed Stephanas’ household—further, I have not known if I immersed any other.
Moamoani, n den batisi Sitefana leni o deni yaaba moko, mii tiani n ya go den batisi nitoa.
17 For Christ did not send me to immerse, but to proclaim good news, not in wisdom of discourse, that the Cross of the Christ may not be made of no effect;
18 for the word of the Cross to those indeed perishing is foolishness, and to us—those being saved—it is the power of God,
Kelima li dapoanpoanli ya mawangima tie yanluoma yaaba n ba bodi po. Ama tinba yaaba n tindi po, li tie U Tienu paaciamu.
19 for it has been written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will bring to nothing”;
20 where [is] the wise? Where the scribe? Where a disputer of this age? Did God not make foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn g165)
Lanwani o yanfodaano ye le? Li balimaama bangika go ye le? U naa yogunu nianiado go ye le?
21 For seeing in the wisdom of God the world through the wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the preaching to save those believing.
Lanwani U Tienu den jagi ke o baa faabi yaaba n daani leni o laabaalihamo wangima yaama n tie nani mi yanluoma yeni.
22 Since also Jews ask a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom,
Jufinba miadi mi banciama, Gilekinba mo lingi mi yafuoma.
23 also we preach Christ crucified, to Jews, indeed, a stumbling-block, and to Greeks foolishness,
24 and to those called—both Jews and Greeks—Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God,
Ama U Tienu n yini yaaba po, ban tie Jufinba bi ban tie Gilekinba, kilisiti tie U Tienu paaciamu leni U Tienu yanfuoma.
25 because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men;
26 for see your calling, brothers, that not many [are] wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;
N kpiiba, kpaagi mani U Tienu n den yini yaaba n tie maama. Yi siiga yaaba n tie yanfuodanba naa yaba, yaaba n tie paatieba leni yaaba n tie bulicinba moko naa fuu.
27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that He may put the wise to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world that He may put the strong to shame;
28 and God chose the base things of the world, and the things despised, and the things that are not, that He may make useless the things that are—
29 that no flesh may glory before Him;
Otieni yeni ke nisaaloba kuli n da kpiagi o yuli wani U Tienu kani.
30 but out of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us from God wisdom, righteousness also, and sanctification, and redemption,
Ama yinba, U Tienu teni ke yi ye Jesu Kilisiti nni. O go teni ke Jesu tie tipo mi yanfuoma, leni mi tegima, leni mi gagihanma, leni mi daafaabima.
31 that, according as it has been written: “He who is glorying—let him glory in the LORD.”
Lanwani, nani lan diani maama: “Yua n bua ki jigini o yuli, Wan jigini li o Diedo nni.”
