1 Chronicles 8
1 And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
Benjamin zeugte Bela als seinen Erstgeborenen, Asbel als den zweiten, Ahiram als den dritten,
2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
Noha als den vierten und Rapha als den fünften.
3 And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
Bela aber hatte folgende Söhne: Ard, Gera, Abihud,
4 and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
Abisua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5 and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
Gera, Sephuphan und Huram.
6 And these [are] sons of Ehud—they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them to Manahath:
Und dies waren die Söhne Ehuds: – sie waren Familienhäupter unter den Bewohnern von Geba, und man führte sie gefangen weg nach Manahath,
7 even Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, who removed them and begot Uzza and Ahihud.
nämlich Naaman, Ahia und Gera; dieser führte sie weg; – er zeugte aber Ussa und Ahihud.
8 And Shaharaim begot in the field of Moab after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
Saharaim aber zeugte (Söhne) im Gefilde der Moabiter, nachdem er seine Frauen Husim und Baara verstoßen hatte;
9 And he begets of his wife Hodesh: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
da zeugte er mit seiner Frau Hodes: Jobab, Zibja, Mesa, Malkam,
10 and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.
Jehuz, Sochja und Mirma; dies waren seine Söhne, Familienhäupter.
11 And of Hushim he begot Ahitub and Elpaal.
Mit Husim aber hatte er Abitub und Elpaal gezeugt.
12 And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),
Die Söhne Elpaals waren: Eber, Miseam und Semer; dieser erbaute Ono und Lod samt den zugehörigen Ortschaften.
13 and Beriah and Shema (they [are] the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon—they caused the inhabitants of Gath to flee),
Weiter: Beria und Sema – das waren die Familienhäupter unter den Bewohnern von Ajjalon; sie hatten die Bewohner von Gath in die Flucht geschlagen –;
14 and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
(und ihre Brüder waren Elpaal, ) Sasak und Jeremoth.
15 and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
Sebadja aber und Arad, Eder,
16 and Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,
Michael, Jispa und Joha waren die Söhne Berias;
17 and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
und Sebadja, Mesullam, Hiski, Heber,
18 and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal;
Jismerai, Jislia und Jobab waren die Söhne Elpaals. –
19 and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
Jakim, Sichri, Sabdi,
20 and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
Eljoenai, Zillethai, Eliel,
21 and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;
Adaja, Beraja und Simrath waren die Söhne Simeis. –
22 and Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
Jispan, Eber, Eliel,
23 and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
Abdon, Sichri, Hanan,
24 and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
Hananja, Elam, Anthothija,
25 and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;
Jiphdeja und Pnuel waren die Söhne Sasaks. –
26 and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
Samserai, Seharja, Athalja,
27 and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
Jaaresja, Elia und Sichri waren die Söhne Jerohams.
28 These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, [the] heads. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
Diese waren Familienhäupter in ihren Geschlechtern, Häupter; diese wohnten in Jerusalem.
29 And the father of Gibeon has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
In Gibeon aber wohnten: Jehuel, der Stammvater von Gibeon, dessen Frau Maacha hieß.
30 and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Nadab,
Sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon; außerdem Zur, Kis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;
Gedor, Ahjo, Secher
32 and Mikloth begot Shimeah. And they also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
und Mikloth, der Simea zeugte. Auch diese wohnten ihren Stammesgenossen gegenüber in Jerusalem bei ihren Stammesgenossen. –
33 And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
Ner aber zeugte Abner, und Kis zeugte Saul, Saul zeugte Jonathan, Malchisua, Abinadab und Esbaal.
34 And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah;
Der Sohn Jonathans war Merib-Baal, und dieser zeugte Micha.
35 and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
Die Söhne Michas waren: Pithon, Melech, Tharea und Ahas.
36 and Ahaz begot Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza,
Ahas zeugte Jehoadda, Jehoadda zeugte Alemeth, Asmaweth und Simri; Simri aber zeugte Moza,
37 and Moza begot Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
Moza zeugte Binea; dessen Sohn war Rapha, dessen Sohn Eleasa, dessen Sohn Azel.
38 And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne, die hießen: Asrikam, Bochru, Ismael, Searja, Obadja und Hanan. Alle diese waren Söhne Azels. –
39 And sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
Die Söhne seines Bruders Esek waren: Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jehus der zweite und Eliphelet der dritte.
40 And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valor, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son’s sons—one hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
Die Söhne Ulams waren kriegstüchtige Männer, die den Bogen zu spannen wußten, und sie hatten zahlreiche Söhne und Enkel, hundertundfünfzig an der Zahl. Diese alle gehören zu den Nachkommen Benjamins.
