1 And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
Forsothe Beniamyn gendride Bale his firste gendrid sone, Asbaal the secounde, Othora the thridde,
2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
Naua the fourthe, and Rapha the fyuethe.
3 And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
And the sones of Bale weren Addoar, and Jera, and Abyud, and Abisue,
4 and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
and Noemany, and Acte,
5 and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
but also Gera, and Sophupham, and Vram.
6 And these [are] sons of Ehud—they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them to Manahath:
These ben the sones of Haoth, princes of kynredis dwellynge in Gabaa, that weren translatid in to Manath.
7 even Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, who removed them and begot Uzza and Ahihud.
Forsothe Noaman, and Achia, and Jera, `he translatide hem, and gendride Oza and Abyud;
8 And Shaharaim begot in the field of Moab after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
forsothe `Saarym gendride in the cuntrey of Moab, aftir that he lefte Vrym and Bara, hise wyues;
9 And he begets of his wife Hodesh: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
sotheli he gendride of Edes, his wijf, Jodab, and Sebia, and Mosa, and Molchon, also Jebus, and Sechia, and Maryna;
10 and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.

11 And of Hushim he begot Ahitub and Elpaal.

12 And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),
Sotheli the sones of Elphaal weren Heber, and Musaam, and Samaath; he bildide Ono, and Lod, and hise villagis;
13 and Beriah and Shema (they [are] the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon—they caused the inhabitants of Gath to flee),

14 and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

the sones of Sesac weren Sampsaray,
26 and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
and Scoria, and Otholia, and Jersia,
27 and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
and Helia, and Zechri, the sones of Jeream.
28 These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, [the] heads. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
These weren patriarkis and princes of kynredis, that dwelliden in Jerusalem.
29 And the father of Gibeon has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
Forsothe in Gabaon dwelliden Abigabaon, and Maacha the name of his wijf;
30 and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Nadab,
and his firste gendrid sone Abdon, and Sur, and Cys, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;
and Geddo, and Haio, and Zacher, and Macelloth.
32 and Mikloth begot Shimeah. And they also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
Forsothe Marcelloth gendride Samaa; and thei dwelliden euene ayens her britheren in Jerusalem with her britheren.
33 And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
Forsothe Ner gendride Cys, and Cys gendride Saul; forsothe Saul gendride Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Abynadab, and Isbaal.
34 And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah;
Sotheli the sone of Jonathan was Myphibaal; and Myphibaal gendride Micha.
35 and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
The sones of Micha weren Phiton, and Melech, and Thara, and Ahaz.
36 and Ahaz begot Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza,
And Ahaz gendride Joiada; and Joiada gendride Almoth, and Azimoth, and Zamry.
37 and Moza begot Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
Forsothe Zamri gendride Moosa, and Moosa gendride Banaa, whos sone was Raphaia, of whom was gendrid Elesa, that gendride Asel.
38 And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
Sotheli Asel hadde sixe sones bi these names, Esricham, Bochru, Ismael, Saria, Abadia, Aman; alle these weren the sones of Asel.
39 And sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
Forsothe the sones of Asa, his brothir, weren Vlam, the firste gendride sone, and Hus, the secounde, and Eliphales, the thridde.
40 And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valor, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son’s sons—one hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
And the sones of Vlam weren strongeste men, and beendynge a bouwe with greet strength, and hauynge many sones, and sones of sones, til to an hundrid and fifti. Alle these weren the sones of Beniamyn.
