1 Chronicles 5
1 As for sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel—for he [is] the firstborn, and on account of his profaning the bed of his father his birthright has been given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and [he is] not to be reckoned by genealogy for the birthright,
इस्राएलका जेठा छोरा रूबेनका छोराहरू— रूबेन जेठा छोरा थिए, तर तिनको ज्येष्ठ अधिकार इस्राएलका छोरा योसेफका छोराहरूलाई दिइयो, किनभने तिनले आफ्ना पिताको ओच्छ्यान अपवित्र पारेका थिए । त्यसैले जेठा छोराको रूपमा तिनको विवरण रहेन ।
2 for Judah has been mighty over his brother, and for leader above him, and the birthright [is] to Joseph—
यहूदा आफ्ना दाजुभाइमध्ये सबैभन्दा बलिया थिए, र तिनीबाट एक जना अगुवा आउनेवाला थिए । तर ज्येष्ठ अधिकार योसेफको थियो—
3 sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel: Enoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
इस्राएलका जेठा छोरा रूबेनका छोराहरू हानोक, पल्लु, हेस्रोन र कर्मी थिए ।
4 Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
योएलका सन्तान यिनै थिएः योएलका छोरा शमायाह थिए । शमायाहका छोरा गोग तिए । गोगका छोरा शिमी थिए ।
5 Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Ba‘al his son,
शिमीका छोरा मीका तिए । मीकाका छोरा रायाह थिए । रायाहक छोरा बाल थिए ।
6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur removed; he [is] prince of the Reubenite.
बालका छोरा बीरह थिए, जसलाई अश्शूरका राजा तिग्लत-पिलेसेरले कैद गरेर लगे । बीरह रूबेनी कुलका अगुवा थिए ।
7 And his brothers, by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, [are] heads: Jeiel, and Zechariah,
आ-आफ्ना वंशाक्रमअनुसार सूचीकृत भएका बीरहका आफन्तका वंशहरूः अगुवा यीएल, जकरिया, र
8 and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel—he is dwelling in Aroer, even to Nebo and Ba‘al-Meon;
योएलका पनाति, शेमाका नाति र अजाजका छोरा बेला थिए । नेबो र बाल-मोनसम्म फैलिएर अरोएरमा,
9 and he dwelt at the east even to the entering in of the wilderness, even from the Euphrates River, for their livestock were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
र पूर्वपट्टि यूफ्रेटिस नदीसम्म फैलिएको उजाड-स्थानको छेउसम्म नै तिनीहरू बसोबास गर्थे । तिनीहरूसित गिलादमा पाल्तु पशुको संख्या ज्यादै बढेको हुनाले यसो भयो ।
10 And they have made war with the Hagarites in the days of Saul, who fall by their hand, and they dwell in their tents over all the face of the east of Gilead.
शाऊलको समयमा रूबेनका वंशले हग्रीहरूलाई आक्रमण गरे र उनीहरूलाई जिते । तिनीहरूले गिलादको पूर्वपट्टिका सबै भूभागमा भएका हग्रीहरूका छाउनीहरूमा बसोबास गरे ।
11 And the sons of Gad have dwelt opposite them in the land of Bashan to Salcah:
गादका वंशका सदस्यहरू तिनीहरूका नजिक बाशानमा सलकासम्मै बसेका थिए ।
12 Joel the head, and Shapham the second, and Jaanai and Shaphat in Bashan;
योएल तिनीहरूका अगुवा थिए । शापाम दोस्रो थिए । अनि बाशानमा यानै र शाफात ।
13 and their brothers of the house of their fathers [are] Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber—seven.
तिनीहरूका पुर्खाका परिवारहरूको आधारमा तिनीहरूका आफन्तहरू मिखाएल, मशुल्लाम, शेबा, योरै, यकान, जीआ र एबेर— जम्मा सात जना थिए ।
14 These [are] sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;
यी माथि नाउँ लेखिएका व्यक्तिहरू अबीहेलका सन्तानहरू थिए, र अबीहेल हूरीका छोरा थिए । हूरी यारोहका छोरा थिए । यारोह गिलादका छोरा थिए । गिलाद मिखाएलका छोरा थिए । मिखाएल यशीशैका छोरा थिए । यशीशै यहदोका छोरा थिए । यहदो बूजका छोरा थिए ।
15 Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, [is] head of the house of their fathers;
गुनीका छोरा अब्दीएलका छोरा अही तिनीहरूका पिताका परिवारका मुखिया थिए ।
16 and they dwell in Gilead in Bashan, and in her small towns, and in all outskirts of Sharon, on their outskirts;
तिनीहरू गिलादमा, बाशान र त्यसका नगरहरूमा, र शारोनका सबै खर्कहरू फैलिएका सिमानासम्मै बस्थे ।
17 all of them reckoned themselves by genealogy in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
यी सबै यहूदाका राजा योताम र इस्राएलका राजा यारोबामका राज्य गरेको समयमा वंशाक्रमको सूचीमा लेखिएका थिए ।
18 Sons of Reuben, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, of sons of valor, men carrying shield and sword, and treading bow, and taught in battle, [are] forty-four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going out to the host.
रूबेनीहरू, गादीहरू र मनश्शेको आधा कुलका यद्धको निम्ति तालिमप्राप्त ४४,७६० सिपाहीहरू थिए, जसले ढाल र तरवार बोक्थे, र धनु तान्न सक्थे ।
19 And they make war with the Hagarites, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab,
तिनीहरूले हग्रीहरू, यतूर, नापीश र नोदाबलाई आक्रमण गरे ।
20 and they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who [are] with them, for they cried to God in battle, and He received their plea, because they trusted in Him.
उनीहरूको विरुद्ध लडाइँ गर्न तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरबाट सहायता पाए । यसरी हग्रीहरू र उनीहरूसँग भएका सबै पराजित भए । इस्राएलीहरूले उनीहरूको विरुद्ध लडाइँमा सहायताको निम्ति आफ्ना परमेश्वरलाई पुकारा गरे र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, किनकी तिनीहरूले उहाँमाथि आफ्नो भरोसा राखे ।
21 And they take their livestock captive—fifty thousand of their camels, and two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, and two thousand donkeys, and one hundred thousand of mankind;
उनीहरूका गाईवस्तु, पचास हजार ऊँट, दुई लाख पचास हजार भेडा, दुई हजार गधा, र एक लाख जना मानिसलाई कब्जा गरे ।
22 for many have fallen pierced, for the battle [is] of God; and they dwell in their stead until the expulsion.
अरू धेरै जना मारिए, किनभने यो युद्ध परमेश्वरबाट भएको थियो । तिनीहरू कैदमा नगरेसम्म तिनीहरू त्यही देशमा बसोबास गरे ।
23 And the sons of the half of the tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan to Ba‘al-Hermon, and Senir, and Mount Hermon; they have multiplied.
मनश्शेका आधा कुल बाशानदेखि बाल-हेर्मोन र सेनीरसम्म (अर्थात् हेर्मोन पर्वत) बसोबास गरे ।
24 And these [are] heads of the house of their fathers: even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, men mighty in valor, men of renown, heads of the house of their fathers.
तिनीहरूका पिताका घरानाहरूका मुखियाहरू यी नै थिएः एपेर, यिशी, एलीएल, अज्रीएल, यर्मिया, होदबिया र यहदीएल । तिनीहरू वीर मानिसहरू र प्रख्यात मानिसहरू अनि तिनीहरूका परिवारका मुखियाहरू थिए ।
25 And they trespass against the God of their fathers, and go whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed from their presence;
तर तिनीहरू आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्वरप्रति विश्वासयोग्य भएनन् । बरु, तिनीहरूले त्यस देशका मानिसहरूका देवताहरूको पुजा गरे, जसलाई परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूका सामु नाश गर्नुभएको थियो ।
26 and the God of Israel stirs up the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirit of Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur, and he removes them—even the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh—and brings them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and the River of Gozan to this day.
इस्राएलका परमेश्वरले अश्शूरका राजा पूललाई (जसलाई अश्शूरका राजा तिग्लत-पिलेसेर पनि भनिन्थ्यो) उक्साउनुभयो । उनले रूबेन, गाद र मनश्शेका आधा कुलका मानिसहरूलाई कैदमा लगे । उनले तिनीहरूलाई हलह, हाबोर, हारा र गोजान नदीका किनारमा लगे, जाहाँ तिनीहरू आजको दिनसम्म छन् ।
