1 Chronicles 28
1 And David assembles all the heads of Israel, heads of the tribes, and heads of the divisions who are serving the king, and heads of the thousands, and heads of the hundreds, and heads of all the substance and possessions of the king, and of his sons, with the officers and the mighty ones, and of every mighty man of valor—to Jerusalem.
[達味宣佈建殿]達味召集了以色列的眾首長、各支派首長、值班服事君王的首長、千夫長、百夫長、掌管軍人及王室子女財產牲畜的首長，以及太監、勇士和眾顯要，到耶路撒冷來。
2 And David the king rises on his feet and says, “Hear me, my brothers and my people, I [had it] with my heart to build a house of rest for the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, and for the footstool of our God, and I prepared to build,
達味王站起來說道：「我的弟兄，我的百姓，請聽我的話! 我原有意為上主的約櫃，即為我們天主的腳凳，建造一座安放的殿宇，並且我已作了建造的準備；
3 and God has said to me, You do not build a house for My Name, for you [are] a man of wars, and you have shed blood.
然而天主對我說：你不可為我的名建築殿宇，因為你是一個軍人，流過人的血。
4 And YHWH, God of Israel, fixes on me out of all the house of my father to be for king over Israel for all time, for He has fixed on Judah for a leader, and in the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, He has been pleased with me to make [me] king over all Israel;
上主以色列的天主，由我父全家中選拔了我永遠作王，統治以色列，因為他選拔了猶大為長，由猷大家族中又選拔了我的父家，在我父親的兒子中，他喜愛我，立我作王，統治全以色列；
5 and out of all my sons—for YHWH has given many sons to me—He also fixes on my son Solomon, to sit on the throne of the kingdom of YHWH over Israel,
他又從我的眾子中，─因為上主賞賜了我許多兒子，選拔了我兒撒羅滿，坐上主王國的寶座，治理以色列。
6 and says to me, Your son Solomon builds My house and My courts, for I have fixed on him [to be] to Me for a son, and I am to him for a father.
他這樣對我說：是你的兒子撒羅滿要為我建築殿宇和庭院，因為我以選了他作我的兒子，我要作他的父親。
7 And I have established his kingdom for all time, if he is strong to do My commands and My judgments, as at this day.
如果他堅守遵行我的誡命和法律，如同今日一樣，我必鞏固他的王權直到永遠。
8 And now, before the eyes of all Israel, the assembly of YHWH, and in the ears of our God, keep and seek all the commands of your God YHWH, so that you possess this good land, and have caused your sons to inherit after you for all time.
所以現今當著全以色列，上主的會眾面前，在我們天主聽聞之下，我勸你們必須遵守並尋求上主，你們天主的一切誡命，好使你們保有這塊美麗的地方，永遠遺留給你們的子孫。
9 And you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind, for YHWH is seeking all hearts, and He is understanding every imagination of the thoughts; if you seek Him, He is found by you, and if you forsake Him, He casts you off forever.
至於你、我兒撒羅滿! 你要認識你父親的天主，全心樂意事奉他，因為上主洞察所有人的心，知道人的一切心思欲念。如果你尋求他，他必使你尋獲；如果你背判他，他必要永遠拋棄你。
10 See, now, for YHWH has fixed on you to build a house for a sanctuary; be strong, and do.”
現在，你該注意，因為上主揀選了你建築殿宇作為他的聖所，你要勇敢去行。」[交付聖殿圖樣]
11 And David gives to his son Solomon the pattern of the porch, and of its houses, and of its treasures, and of its upper chambers, and of its innermost chambers, and of the house of the atonement;
達味遂將門廊、廂房、府庫、樓閣、內室和至聖所的圖樣，交給了他的兒子撒羅滿；
12 and the pattern of all that has been with him by the Spirit, for the courts of the house of YHWH, and for all the surrounding chambers, for the treasures of the house of God, and for the treasures of the things sacrificed;
將他心中關於上主殿宇的庭院，周圍的房屋，天主殿內的府庫，聖物的府庫所有的圖樣，
13 and for the divisions of the priests and of the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of YHWH, and for all vessels of service of the house of YHWH,
以及關於司祭和肋未人的班次，在上主殿內應行的一切禮儀，上主殿內行禮儀時應用的一切器皿，都指示給他，
14 even gold by weight, for [things of] gold, for all instruments of every service; for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every service;
並給他指定用多少份量的金子，製各種禮儀應使用的一切金器；用多少份量的銀子，製各種歷任應使用的一切銀器，
15 and [by] weight for the lampstands of gold, and their lamps of gold, by weight [for] lampstand and lampstand, and its lamps; and for the lampstands of silver, by weight for a lampstand and its lamps, according to the service of lampstand and lampstand;
用多少份量的金子，製金燈台及台上的金燈，用多少份量製每盞金燈台及台上的金燈；用多少份量的銀子，製銀燈台及台上的銀燈，每盞銀燈台及台上銀燈的重量，按每盞燈台的用途應用多少；
16 and the gold [by] weight for tables of the arrangement, for table and table, and silver for the tables of silver;
用多少份量的金子，製供餅的桌子，每張應用多少；用多少銀子製銀桌子；
17 and the forks, and the bowls, and the cups of pure gold, and for the basins of gold, by weight for basin and basin, and for the basins of silver, by weight for basin and basin,
用多少份量的純金，製叉、盤和壺；用多少份量的金子，製各種金碗，每隻碗重量多少；用多少份量的銀子，製各種銀碗，每隻碗重量多少；
18 and for the altar of incense, refined gold by weight, and for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim of gold, spreading and covering over the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH.
用多少份量的純金，製造香壇；最後給他指定了車子的圖樣，即展開翅膀遮蓋上主的約櫃的金革魯的圖樣：
19 The whole [is] in writing from the hand of YHWH, “He caused me to understand all the work of the pattern,” [said David.]
這一切，即這一切工作的圖樣，都給他按照上主的指示劃了出來。[勸勉撒羅滿]
20 And David says to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do; do not fear nor be frightened, for YHWH God, my God, [is] with you; He does not fail you, nor forsake you, to the completion of all the work of the service of the house of YHWH.
達味又對他的兒子撒羅滿說：「你要勇敢勉力去行，不必害怕，不必畏懼，因為上主天主，我的天主必與你同在；他決不遠離你，決不拋棄你，直到你完成修築上主殿宇的一切工作。
21 And behold, divisions of the priests and of the Levites [are] for all the service of the house of God; and with you in all work [is] every willing one with wisdom, for every service; and the heads and all the people [are] according to all your words.”
你看，司祭和肋未人已分好班次，奉行天主殿內的事務；在各種工作上，又有各種的巧匠自願輔助你，首領和全體人民又都聽你的指揮。」
