1 Chronicles 27
1 And the sons of Israel, after their number, heads of the fathers, and princes of the thousands and of the hundreds, and their officers, those serving the king in any matter of the divisions, that are coming in and going out month by month throughout all months of the year, [are] twenty-four thousand in each division.
Und dies sind die Israeliten nach ihrer Anzahl, die Familienhäupter, die Anführer der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften und ihre Amtleute, die dem Könige dienten in allen Angelegenheiten der Abteilungen, die Monat für Monat alle Monate des Jahres hindurch antraten und abzogen, jede Abteilung in der Stärke von 24000 Mann.
2 Over the first division for the first month [is] Jashobeam son of Zabdiel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division;
Die erste Abteilung, im ersten Monate, befehligte Jasobeam, der Sohn Sabdiels, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
3 [he was] of the sons of Perez, [and] the head of all princes of the hosts for the first month.
Er gehörte zu den Nachkommen Perez' und war das Oberhaupt aller Heerführer im ersten Monat.
4 And over the division of the second month [is] Dodai the Ahohite, and Mikloth [is] also president of his division, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Die Abteilung des zweiten Monats befehligte Eleasar, der Sohn Dodais, der Ahohiter, und seine Abteilung befehligte Mikloth, der Oberaufseher, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
5 Head of the third host, for the third month, [is] Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the head priest, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Der Anführer des dritten Heeres, für den dritten Monat, war Benaja, der Sohn des Priesters Jojada, als Oberhaupt, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
6 This Benaiah [is] a mighty one of the thirty, and over the thirty, and his son Ammizabad [is in] his division.
Dieser Benaja war der Held unter den dreißig, und die dreißig und seine Abteilung befehligte sein Sohn Ammisabad.
7 The fourth, for the fourth month, [is] Asahel brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Der vierte, für den vierten Monat, war Asahel, der Bruder Joabs, und nach ihm sein Sohn Sebadja, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
8 The fifth, for the fifth month, [is] the prince Shamhuth the Izrahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Der fünfte, für den fünften Monat, war der Oberste Samhuth, der Jisrahiter, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
9 The sixth, for the sixth month, [is] Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Der sechste, für den sechsten Monat, war Ira, der Sohn des Ikkes von Thekoa, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
10 The seventh, for the seventh month, [is] Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
Der siebente, für den siebenten Monat, war Helez, der Peloniter, aus den Ephraimiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
11 The eighth, for the eighth month, [is] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

12 The ninth, for the ninth month, [is] Abiezer the Antothite, of the Benjamite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

13 The tenth, for the tenth month, [is] Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

14 Eleventh, for the eleventh month, [is] Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, [is] Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.

16 And over the tribes of Israel: the leader of the Reubenite [is] Eliezer son of Zichri; of the Simeonite, Shephatiah son of Maachah;

20 of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah; of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Joel son of Pedaiah;

22 These [are the] heads of the tribes of Israel.
von Dan Asareel, der Sohn Jerohams. Das sind die Fürsten der Stämme Israels.
23 But David has not taken up their number from a son of twenty years and under, for YHWH had said [He would] multiply Israel as the stars of the heavens.
Aber die Anzahl derer, die unter zwanzig Jahre alt waren, ließ David nicht aufnehmen; denn Jahwe hatte verheißen, die Israeliten so zahlreich zu machen, wie die Sterne am Himmel.
24 Joab son of Zeruiah has begun to number, but has not finished; and there is wrath against Israel for this, and the number has not gone up in the account of the Chronicles of King David.
Joab, der Sohn Zerujas, hatte mit der Zählung begonnen, war aber nicht damit zu Ende gekommen; denn es erging deshalb ein Gotteszorn über Israel, und die Zahl ward unter die Zahlen in der Geschichte des Königs David nicht aufgenommen.
25 And Azmaveth son of Adiel [is] over the treasures of the king; and Jonathan son of Uzziah [is] over the treasures in the field, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers;

26 and Ezri son of Chelub [is] over workmen of the field for the service of the ground;

27 and Shimei the Ramathite [is] over the vineyards; and Zabdi the Shiphmite [is] over what [is] in the vineyards for the treasures of wine;

28 and Ba‘al-Hanan the Gederite [is] over the olives and the sycamores that [are] in the low country; and Joash [is] over the treasures of oil;

29 and Shitrai the Sharonite [is] over the herds that are feeding in Sharon; and Shaphat son of Adlai [is] over the herds in the valleys;

30 and Obil the Ishmaelite [is] over the camels; and Jehdeiah the Meronothite [is] over the donkeys;

31 and Jaziz the Hagerite [is] over the flock; all these [are] heads of the substance that King David has.
das Kleinvieh der Hagriter Jasis. Diese alle waren Oberbeamte über das Eigentum des Königs David.
32 And Jonathan, David’s uncle, [is] counselor, a man of understanding, [and] he is also a scribe; and Jehiel son of Hachmoni [is] with the sons of the king;
Jonathan aber, der Oheim Davids, ein einsichtiger und schriftkundiger Mann, war Rat; Jehiel, der Sohn Hachmonis, war bei den Söhnen des Königs.
33 and Ahithophel [is] counselor to the king; and Hushai the Archite [is] the friend of the king;
Ahitophel war königlicher Rat, und Husai, der Arkiter, war der Freund des Königs.
34 and after Ahithophel [is] Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the head of the host of the king [is] Joab.
Nach Ahitophel aber war es Jojada, der Sohn Benajas, und Abjathar. Und Joab war der Feldhauptmann des Königs.
