1 Chronicles 25

1 And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

Kwa Yedutuni, kuchokera kwa ana ake: Gedaliya, Zeri, Yesaya, Simei, Hasabiya ndi Matitiya. Onse analipo 9 ndipo amayangʼaniridwa ndi Yedutuni abambo awo, amene amanenera pogwiritsa ntchito apangwe poyamika ndi kutamanda Yehova.

4 Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

Kwa Hemani, kuchokera kwa ana ake: Bukiya, Mataniya, Uzieli, Subaeli ndi Yerimoti; Hananiya, Hanani, Eliata, Gidaliti ndi Romamiti-Ezeri; Yosibakasa, Maloti, Hotiri ndi Mahazioti.

5 all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

6 All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

Anthu onsewa ankayangʼaniridwa ndi makolo awo pa mayimbidwe a mʼNyumba ya Yehova. Iwowatu ankayimba ndi ziwaya zamalipenga, azeze ndi apangwe potumikira mʼNyumba ya Mulungu. Koma Asafu, Yedutuni ndi Hemani amayangʼaniridwa ndi mfumu.

7 And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

Iwo pamodzi ndi abale awo onse ophunzitsidwa ndi aluso loyimbira Yehova chiwerengero chawo chinali 288.

8 And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

10 the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achinayi anagwera Iziri, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

12 the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achisanu anagwera Netaniya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

13 the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achisanu ndi chimodzi anagwera Bukiya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

14 the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achisanu ndi chiwiri anagwera Yesarela, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

15 the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achisanu ndi chitatu anagwera Yeshaya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

16 the ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere achisanu ndi chinayi anagwera Mataniya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

17 the tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brothers—twelve:

Maere a khumi anagwera Simei, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

18 eleventh, Azareel, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 11 anagwera Azareli, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 12 anagwera Hasabiya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 13 anagwera Subaeli, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 14 anagwera Matitiya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 15 anagwera Yeremoti, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

23 the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 16 anagwera Hananiya, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

24 the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 17 anagwera Yosibakasa, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

25 the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 18 anagwera Hanani, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

26 the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 19 anagwera Maloti, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

27 the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 20 anagwera Eliyata, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

28 the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 21 anagwera Hotiri, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

29 the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 22 anagwera Gidaliti, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

30 the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

Maere a 23 anagwera Mahazioti, ana ake ndi abale ake. 12

31 the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers—twelve.

Maere a 24 anagwera Romamiti-Ezeri, ana ake ndi abale ake 12.
