1 Chronicles 25

1 And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

١ وَاخْتَارَ دَاوُدُ وَرُؤَسَاءُ الْجَيْشِ بَعْضَ أَبْنَاءِ آسَافَ وَهَيْمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ، لِقِيَادَةِ خَدَمَاتِ القِيَادَةِ بِإِعْلانِ رِسَالَةِ اللهِ تَصْحَبُهُمْ مُوسِيقَى الْعِيدَانِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالصُّنُوجِ. وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ أَدَّوْا هَذِهِ الْخَدَمَاتِ وَوَاجِبَاتُهُمْ:

2 Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

٢ مِنْ أَبنَاءِ آسَافَ: زَكُّورُ وَيُوسُفُ وَنَثَنْيَا وَأَشَرْئِيلَةُ، وَهُمْ يَخْدُمُونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ آسَافَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ فِيِ حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ.

3 Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

٣ مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ يَدُوثُونَ سِتَّةٌ: جَدَلْيَا وَصَرِي وَيِشْعِيَا وَشِمْعِي وَحَشَبْيَا وَمَتَّثْيَا وَهُمْ يَخْدُمونَ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ أَبِيهِمْ يَدُوثُونَ الْمُتَنَبِّئِ بِالْعَزْفِ عَلَى الْعُودِ لِلتَّعْبِيرِ عَنِ الْحَمْدِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ لِلرَّبِّ.

4 Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

٤ مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ هَيْمَانَ: بُقِّيَّا، وَمَتَّنْيَا، وَعُزِّيئِيلُ، وَشَبُوئِيلُ، وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَحَنَنْيَا، وَحَنَانِي وَإِيلِيآثَةُ، وَجِدَّلْتِي، وَرُومَمْتِي عَزَرُ، وَيُشْبَقَاشَةُ، وَمَلُوثِي، وَهُوثِيرُ وَمَحْزِيُوثُ.

5 all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

٥ وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ هَيْمَانَ نَبِيِّ الْمَلِكِ، وَقَدْ رَزَقَهُ الرَّبُّ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ابْناً وَثَلاثَ بَنَاتٍ، تَحْقِيقاً لِوَعْدِهِ، لِيَرْفَعَ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ.

6 All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

٦ وكَانُوا جَمِيعُهُمْ يُجِيدُونَ الْعَزْفَ عَلَى الصُّنُوجِ وَالرَّبَابِ وَالْعِيدَانِ، بِقِيَادَةِ أَبِيهِمْ، لِلاشْتِرَاكِ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ بِالْهَيْكَلِ. وَكَانَ آسَافُ وَيَدُوثُونُ وَهَيْمَانُ يَتَلَقَّوْنَ تَعْلِيمَاتِهِمْ مِنَ الْمَلِكِ.

7 And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

٧ وَقَدْ بَلَغَ عَدَدُهُمْ مَعَ بَقِيَّةِ أَقْرِبَائِهِمْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِيَةً وَثَمَانِينَ لاوِيًّا، وَجَمِيعُهُمْ بَارِعُونَ فِي الْعَزْفِ وَالتَّرْتِيلِ لِلرَّبِّ.

8 And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

٨ وَقَدْ حَدَّدُوا مَسْؤولِيَّاتِ عَمَلِهِمْ عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْقُرْعَةِ، بِغَضِّ النَّظَرِ عَنِ الْعُمْرِ أَوِ الْكَفَاءَةِ.

9 And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

٩ فَوَقَعَتِ الْقُرْعَةُ الأُولَى لِيُوسُفَ مِنْ عَائِلَةِ آسَافَ، وَالثَّانِيَةُ لِجَدَلْيَا وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ، وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً،

10 the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٠ وَالثَّالِثَةُ لِزَكُّورَ، وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١١ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لِيَصْرِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

12 the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٢ وَالخَامِسَةُ لِنَثَنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

13 the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٣ وَالسَّادِسَةُ لِبُقِّيَّا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

14 the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٤ وَالسَّابِعَةُ لِيَشَرِئِيلَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

15 the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٥ وَالثَّامِنَةُ لِيَشْعِيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

16 the ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٦ وَالتَّاسِعَةُ لِمَتَّنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

17 the tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brothers—twelve:

١٧ وَالعَاشِرَةُ لِشِمْعِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

18 eleventh, Azareel, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٨ وَالْحَادِيَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِعَزَرْئِيلَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

١٩ وَالثَّانِيَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَشَبْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٠ وَالثَّالِثَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِشُوبَائِيلَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢١ والرَّابِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِمَتَّثْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٢ وَالخَامِسَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِيَرِيمُوثَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

23 the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٣ وَالسَّادِسَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَنْيَا وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

24 the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٤ وَالسَّابِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِيَشْبَقَاشَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

25 the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٥ وَالثَّامِنَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَانِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

26 the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٦ وَالتَّاسِعَةُ عَشْرَةَ لِمَلُّوثِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

27 the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٧ وَالعِشْرُونَ لإِيلِيَآثَةَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

28 the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٨ وَالحَادِيَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِهُوثِيرَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

29 the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٢٩ وَالثَّانِيَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِجِدَّلْتِي وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

30 the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

٣٠ وَالثَّالِثَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِمَحْزِيُوثَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.

31 the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers—twelve.

٣١ وَالرَّابِعَةُ وَالعِشْرُونَ لِرُومَمْتِي عَزَرَ وَأَبْنَائِهِ وَأَقْرِبَائِهِ وَهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَخْصاً.
