1 Chronicles 22
1 And David says, “This is the house of YHWH God, and this [is] the altar for burnt-offering for Israel.”
Y dijo David: Esta será la casa de Jehová Dios, y este será el altar del holocausto para Israel.
2 And David says to gather the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, and appoints hewers to hew hewn-stones to build a house of God.
Y mandó David que se juntasen los extranjeros que estaban en la tierra de Israel, e hizo de ellos canteros, que labrasen piedra para edificar la casa de Dios.
3 And David has prepared iron in abundance for nails for leaves of the gates and for couplings, and bronze in abundance—there is no weighing,
Asimismo aparejó David mucho hierro para la clavazón de las puertas, y para las junturas: y mucho metal sin peso, y madera de cedro sin cuenta.
4 and cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the Tyrians brought in cedar-trees in abundance to David.
Porque los Sidonios y Tirios habían traído a David madera de cedro innumerable.
5 And David says, “My son Solomon [is] a youth and tender, and the house to be built for YHWH [is] to be made exceedingly great, for renown and for beauty to all the lands; now let me prepare for it”; and David prepares in abundance before his death.
Y dijo David: Mi hijo Salomón es aun muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar a Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras: ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y aparejó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.
6 And he calls for his son Solomon, and charges him to build a house for YHWH, God of Israel,
Y llamó David a Salomón su hijo, y mandóle que edificase casa a Jehová Dios de Israel.
7 and David says to his son Solomon, “As for me, it has been with my heart to build a house for the Name of my God YHWH,
Y dijo David a Salomón: Hijo mío, en mi corazón tuve de edificar templo al nombre de Jehová mi Dios;
8 and the word of YHWH [is] against me, saying, You have shed blood in abundance, and you have made great wars; you do not build a house for My Name, for you have shed much blood to the earth before Me.
Mas háme sido hecha palabra de Jehová, diciendo: Tú has derramado mucha sangre, y has traído grandes guerras, no edificarás casa a mi nombre: porque has derramado mucha sangre en la tierra delante de mí.
9 Behold, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his surrounding enemies, for Solomon is his name, and I give peace and quietness to Israel in his days;
He aquí, un hijo te nacerá, el cual será varón de reposo: porque yo le daré quietud de todos sus enemigos en derredor; por tanto su nombre será Salomón; y yo daré paz y reposo sobre Israel en sus días.
10 he builds a house for My Name, and he is to Me for a son, and I [am] to him for a father, and I have established the throne of his kingdom over Israel for all time.
Este edificará casa a mi nombre, y él me será a mí por hijo, y yo seré a él por padre; y afirmaré el trono de su reino sobre Israel para siempre.
11 Now my son, YHWH is with you, and you have prospered, and have built the house of your God YHWH, as He spoke concerning you.
Por tanto ahora, hijo mío, sea contigo Jehová, y seas prosperado, y edifiques casa a Jehová tu Dios como él ha dicho de ti.
12 Only, may YHWH give wisdom and understanding to you, and charge you concerning Israel, even to keep the Law of your God YHWH;
Y Jehová te dé entendimiento y prudencia, y él te démandamientos para Israel: y que tú guardes la ley de Jehová tu Dios.
13 then you prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the judgments that YHWH charged Moses with concerning Israel; be strong and courageous; do not fear, nor be cast down.
Entonces serás prosperado, si guardares para hacer los estatutos y derechos que Jehová mandó a Moisés para Israel. Esfuérzate pues, y sé robusto; no tengas miedo, ni temor.
14 And behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the house of YHWH one hundred thousand talents of gold, and one million talents of silver; and of bronze and of iron there is no weighing, for it has been in abundance; and I have prepared wood and stones, and you add to them.
He aquí, yo conforme a mi pobreza, he aparejado para la casa de Jehová cien mil talentos de oro, y un millar de millares de talentos de plata: el metal y el hierro no tiene peso, porque es mucho. Asimismo he aparejado madera y piedra, a lo cual tú añadirás.
15 And with you in abundance [are] workmen, hewers and craftsmen of stone and of wood, and every skillful man for every work.
Tú tienes contigo muchos oficiales, canteros, albañiles, y carpinteros, y todo hombre experto en toda obra.
16 Of the gold, of the silver, and of the bronze, and of the iron, there is no number; arise and do, and YHWH is with you.”
Del oro, de la plata, del metal, y del hierro, no hay número. Levántate y haz; que Jehová será contigo.
17 And David gives charge to all heads of Israel to give help to his son Solomon, [saying],
Asimismo mandó David a todos los principales de Israel, que diesen ayuda a Salomón su hijo, diciendo:
18 “Is your God YHWH not with you? Indeed, He has given rest to you all around, for He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before His people.
¿No es con vosotros Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual os ha dado quietud de todas partes? porque él ha entregado en mi mano los moradores de la tierra, y la tierra ha sido sujetada delante de Jehová, y delante de su pueblo.
19 Now give your heart and your soul to seek for your God YHWH, and rise and build the sanctuary of YHWH God, to bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, and the holy vessels of God, to the house that is built for the Name of YHWH.”
Ponéd pues ahora vuestros corazones y vuestros ánimos en buscar a Jehová vuestro Dios; y levantáos, y edificád el santuario del Dios Jehová, para traer el arca del concierto de Jehová, y los santos vasos de Dios a la casa edificada al nombre de Jehová.
