1 Chronicles 22
1 And David says, “This is the house of YHWH God, and this [is] the altar for burnt-offering for Israel.”
I rzekł Dawid: Toć jest miejsce domu Pana Boga, i to ołtarz na całopalenie Izraelowi.
2 And David says to gather the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, and appoints hewers to hew hewn-stones to build a house of God.
Przetoż rozkazał Dawid, aby zgromadzono cudzoziemców, którzy byli w ziemi Izraelskiej; i postanowił z nich kamienników, aby ciosali kamienie czworograniaste na budowanie domu Bożego.
3 And David has prepared iron in abundance for nails for leaves of the gates and for couplings, and bronze in abundance—there is no weighing,
Żelaza taż bardzo wiele na gwoździe, i na drzwi w bramach, i na spajanie nagotował Dawid, i miedzi wagę niezliczoną.
4 and cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the Tyrians brought in cedar-trees in abundance to David.
Drzewa taż cedrowego bez liczby, albowiem nawieźli Dawidowi Sydończycy i Tyryjczycy drzewa cedrowego bardzo wiele.
5 And David says, “My son Solomon [is] a youth and tender, and the house to be built for YHWH [is] to be made exceedingly great, for renown and for beauty to all the lands; now let me prepare for it”; and David prepares in abundance before his death.
Bo rzekł był Dawid: Salomon, syn mój, jest młodzieńczykiem małym, a dom ma być zbudowany Panu wielki i znamienity, któregoby imię i sława po wszystkiej ziemi była; przetoż teraz nagotuję mu potrzeb. I nagotował Dawid przed śmiercią swą bardzo wiele potrzeb.
6 And he calls for his son Solomon, and charges him to build a house for YHWH, God of Israel,
Tedy zawołał Salomona, syna swego, a przykazał mu, aby zbudował dom Panu, Bogu Izraelskiemu.
7 and David says to his son Solomon, “As for me, it has been with my heart to build a house for the Name of my God YHWH,
I rzekł Dawid do Salomona: Synu mój! Umyśliłem był w sercu mojem, zbudować dom imieniowi Pana Boga mego.
8 and the word of YHWH [is] against me, saying, You have shed blood in abundance, and you have made great wars; you do not build a house for My Name, for you have shed much blood to the earth before Me.
Ale się stało do mnie słowo Pańskie, mówiąc: Wieleś krwi rozlał, i wielkieś wojny prowadził; nie będziesz budował domu imieniowi memu, przeto żeś wiele krwi rozlał na ziemię przedemną,
9 Behold, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his surrounding enemies, for Solomon is his name, and I give peace and quietness to Israel in his days;
Oto syn, któryć się urodzi, będzie mężem spokojnym; bo mu dam odpocznienie od wszystkich nieprzyjaciół jego zewsząd. Przetoż Salomon będzie imię jego; albowiem pokój i odpocznienie dam Izraelowi za dni jego.
10 he builds a house for My Name, and he is to Me for a son, and I [am] to him for a father, and I have established the throne of his kingdom over Israel for all time.
On zbuduje dom imieniowi memu; on mi będzie za syna, a ja mu będę za ojca, i utwierdzę stolicę królestwa jego nad Izraelem aż na wieki.
11 Now my son, YHWH is with you, and you have prospered, and have built the house of your God YHWH, as He spoke concerning you.
Przetoż Pan będzie z tobą, synu mój! I będzieć się szczęściło, i zbudujesz dom Pana, Boga twego, jako mówił o tobie.
12 Only, may YHWH give wisdom and understanding to you, and charge you concerning Israel, even to keep the Law of your God YHWH;
Wszakże niech ci da Pan roztropność, i zmysł, a niech cię postanowi nad Izraelem, abyś strzegł zakonu Pana Boga twego.
13 then you prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the judgments that YHWH charged Moses with concerning Israel; be strong and courageous; do not fear, nor be cast down.
Tedy szczęśliwym będziesz, jeźli strzedz i czynić będziesz przykazania i sądy, które rozkazał Pan przez Mojżesza Izraelowi. Zmacniajże się, a bądź mężem, nie bój się ani się lękaj.
14 And behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the house of YHWH one hundred thousand talents of gold, and one million talents of silver; and of bronze and of iron there is no weighing, for it has been in abundance; and I have prepared wood and stones, and you add to them.
A otom ja w utrapieniu mojem nagotował na dom Pański złota sto tysięcy talentów, i srebra tysiąc tysięcy talentów do tego miedzi i żelaza bez wagi, bo tego wiele jest: drzewa także, i kamienia nagotowałem, a ty do tego przyczynisz.
15 And with you in abundance [are] workmen, hewers and craftsmen of stone and of wood, and every skillful man for every work.
Masz też u siebie wiele rzemieślników, kamiennikówi i murarzy, i cieśli, i wszelkich biegłych w każdem rzemieśle.
16 Of the gold, of the silver, and of the bronze, and of the iron, there is no number; arise and do, and YHWH is with you.”
Złota, srebra, i miedzi, i żelaza niemasz liczby; wstańże a czyń, a Pan będzie z tobą.
17 And David gives charge to all heads of Israel to give help to his son Solomon, [saying],
I przykazał Dawid wszystkim książętom Izraelakim, aby pomagali Salomonowi synowi jego;
18 “Is your God YHWH not with you? Indeed, He has given rest to you all around, for He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before His people.
Mówiąc: Izali Pan Bóg wasz nie jest z wami, który wam dał odpocznienie zewsząd? Bo dał w rękę moję obywateli tej ziemi, i poddane jest ta ziemia Panu i ludowi jego.
19 Now give your heart and your soul to seek for your God YHWH, and rise and build the sanctuary of YHWH God, to bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, and the holy vessels of God, to the house that is built for the Name of YHWH.”
Teraz tedy oddajcie serce swe i duszę swoję, abyście szukali Pana, Boga waszego; i wstańcie, a budujcie świątnicę Panu Bogu, żebyście tam wnieśżli skrzynię przymierza Pańskiego, i naczynia święte Boże, do domu, który będzie zbudowany imieniowi Pańskiemu.
