1 Chronicles 22
1 And David says, “This is the house of YHWH God, and this [is] the altar for burnt-offering for Israel.”

2 And David says to gather the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, and appoints hewers to hew hewn-stones to build a house of God.

3 And David has prepared iron in abundance for nails for leaves of the gates and for couplings, and bronze in abundance—there is no weighing,

4 and cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the Tyrians brought in cedar-trees in abundance to David.

5 And David says, “My son Solomon [is] a youth and tender, and the house to be built for YHWH [is] to be made exceedingly great, for renown and for beauty to all the lands; now let me prepare for it”; and David prepares in abundance before his death.

6 And he calls for his son Solomon, and charges him to build a house for YHWH, God of Israel,

7 and David says to his son Solomon, “As for me, it has been with my heart to build a house for the Name of my God YHWH,

8 and the word of YHWH [is] against me, saying, You have shed blood in abundance, and you have made great wars; you do not build a house for My Name, for you have shed much blood to the earth before Me.

9 Behold, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his surrounding enemies, for Solomon is his name, and I give peace and quietness to Israel in his days;
Khenah, capa maeto na sah tih, anih loe poekmonghaih tawn kami ah om tih; anih taengah kaom a misanawk khae hoiah monghaih to ka paek han; anih ih ahmin loe Solomon, anih siangpahrang ah oh nathung, Israel khaeah monghaih hoi amdinghaih ka paek han.
10 he builds a house for My Name, and he is to Me for a son, and I [am] to him for a father, and I have established the throne of his kingdom over Israel for all time.
Anih mah Ka hmin hanah im to sah tih; anih loe ka capa ah om ueloe, kai loe anih ih ampa ah ka om tih; anih ih angraeng tangkhang to Israel nuiah dungzan khoek to ka caksak han, tiah ang naa.
11 Now my son, YHWH is with you, and you have prospered, and have built the house of your God YHWH, as He spoke concerning you.
Angraeng loe, vaihi nang khaeah oh; anih mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, na Angraeng Sithaw ih im to pacoeng karoek to sah ah.
12 Only, may YHWH give wisdom and understanding to you, and charge you concerning Israel, even to keep the Law of your God YHWH;
Na Angraeng Sithaw ih daan to pazui hanah, Angraeng mah palunghahaih hoi panoekthaihaih to paek nasoe loe, Israel uk thaihaih to na paek nasoe.
13 then you prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the judgments that YHWH charged Moses with concerning Israel; be strong and courageous; do not fear, nor be cast down.
Angraeng mah Israel kaminawk hanah, Mosi khae paek ih lok takroekhaih hoi daan to acoehaih hoi kahoih ah na pazui nahaeloe, hmacawn ueloe, sak na pacoeng thai tih; na thacaksak loe, palung thacaksak ah; zii hmah loe, palungboengsak hmah.
14 And behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the house of YHWH one hundred thousand talents of gold, and one million talents of silver; and of bronze and of iron there is no weighing, for it has been in abundance; and I have prepared wood and stones, and you add to them.
Khenah, vaihi raihaih thung hoi Angraeng ih im hanah sui talent sang cumvaito, phoisa sang sangto, tah laek ai sumkamling hoi sum; paroeai pop thing hoi thlungnawk doeh ka sak paroep boeh; nang mah sah thap ah.
15 And with you in abundance [are] workmen, hewers and craftsmen of stone and of wood, and every skillful man for every work.
Toksah kaminawk, thlung aat thaih kami, thlung tok sah kop kaminawk, thing tok sah thaih kaminawk, hmuen congca sah thaih kaminawk, paroeai na tawnh.
16 Of the gold, of the silver, and of the bronze, and of the iron, there is no number; arise and do, and YHWH is with you.”
Sui, phoisa, sumkamling hoi sum sah kop kaminawk, kroek laek ai na tawnh. Angthawk ah loe, vaihi toksak amtong ah, Angraeng mah na oh thuih nasoe, tiah a naa.
17 And David gives charge to all heads of Israel to give help to his son Solomon, [saying],
David mah a capa Solomon abomh hanah Israel zaehoikungnawk to lokpaek,
18 “Is your God YHWH not with you? Indeed, He has given rest to you all around, for He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before His people.
nihcae khaeah, Nangmacae ih Angraeng Sithaw oh na ai maw? Ahmuen kruek hoiah monghaih ang paek na ai maw? Prae kaminawk ka ban ah paek baktih toengah, prae loe Angraeng hoi prae kaminawk hmaa ah paek boeh.
19 Now give your heart and your soul to seek for your God YHWH, and rise and build the sanctuary of YHWH God, to bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, and the holy vessels of God, to the house that is built for the Name of YHWH.”
