< 1 Chronicles 20 >
1 And it comes to pass, at the time of the turn of the year—at the time of the going out of the messengers—that Joab leads out the force of the host, and destroys the land of the sons of Ammon, and comes in and besieges Rabbah—David is abiding in Jerusalem—and Joab strikes Rabbah, and breaks it down.
Na mobu oyo elandaki, na tango oyo bakonzi bazalaka na momesano ya kokende na bitumba, Joabi akambaki mampinga na bitumba mpe abebisaki mokili ya bato ya Amoni; bongo akendeki kotonga molako liboso ya Raba. Kasi Davidi atikalaki na Yelusalemi. Joabi abundisaki engumba Raba mpe apanzaki yango.
2 And David takes the crown of their king from off his head, and finds it [to be] a talent of gold [in] weight, and [with] precious stone in it, and it is on the head of David; and he has brought out very much spoil of the city,
Davidi alongolaki motole oyo ezalaki na moto ya mokonzi na yango. Bamonaki ete esalemaki na bakilo ya wolo koleka tuku misato mpe ezalaki na libanga ya talo likolo na yango. Wuta na tango wana, ekomaki na moto ya Davidi. Akamataki bomengo ebele ya bitumba kati na engumba yango.
3 and he has brought out the people who [are] in it, and sets [them] to the saw, and to cutting instruments of iron, and to axes; and thus David does to all cities of the sons of Ammon, and David turns back—and all the people—to Jerusalem.
Amemaki na bowumbu bato oyo bazalaki kuna, atiaki bango na misala oyo basalaka na si, na piki mpe na epasola. Davidi asalaki ndenge wana na bavandi ya bingumba nyonso ya bato ya Amoni; bongo azongaki na Yelusalemi elongo na mampinga na ye nyonso.
4 And it comes to pass after this, that war remains in Gezer with the Philistines; then Sibbechai the Hushathite has struck Sippai, of the children of the giant, and they are humbled.
Sima na mwa tango, ezalaki lisusu na bitumba na bato ya Filisitia, kuna na mboka Gezeri. Ezalaki na tango yango nde Sibekayi, moto ya Usha, abomaki Sipayi, moko kati na bakitani ya Rafa; mpe bato ya Filisitia bayokisamaki soni.
5 And there is war with the Philistines again, and Elhanan son of Jair strikes Lahmi, brother of Goliath the Gittite, the wood of whose spear [is] like a weavers’ beam.
Ezalaki lisusu na bitumba na bato ya Filisitia; mpe Elanani, mwana mobali ya Yairi, abomaki Lami, ndeko mobali ya Goliati, moto ya Gati, oyo nzete ya likonga na ye ezalaki monene lokola libaya oyo basali bilamba na maboko basalelaka.
6 And there is war in Gath again, and there is a man of [great] measure, and his fingers and his toes [are] six and six—twenty-four [total], and he has also been born to the giant.
Ezalaki lisusu na bitumba oyo esalemaki kuna na Gati; mpe ezalaki kuna na mbinga mobali moko, mokitani ya Rafa, oyo azalaki na misapi motoba na loboko moko na moko, mpe misapi motoba na lokolo moko na moko. Na kosangisa, azalaki na misapi tuku mibale na minei.
7 And he reproaches Israel, and Jonathan son of Shimea, brother of David, strikes him.
Atiolaki Isalaele; mpe Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Shimea mpe ndeko mobali ya Davidi, abomaki ye.
8 These were born to the giant in Gath, and they fall by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
Bato wana bazalaki bakitani ya Rafa, babotama na Gati mpe bakufaki liboso ya Davidi mpe ya basoda na ye.
